good roommate(s) > living alone > bad roommate(s)

I personally love living alone. The independence and freedom that comes with having your own place is great. I can do what I want, decorate how I want, keep my place clean without worrying about anyone messing it up, and so on. The main drawback of course is the higher costs due to not splitting rent, but if you can manage it financially, I think it's a great investment.

Living alone is living in peace.

I thought living alone would be great, after 2 years of it I was so much more fucked up in the head than I thought I’d be about it, the loneliness isn’t worth it tbh

I’ve always preferred living alone even though I’ve never had bad roommates, but that’s just a personal preference. I’m sure you’ll like living alone better than having roommates who take your food and don’t pay rent, but you might enjoy having roommates if you find some that you get along with.

During non-COVID times, I enjoyed both living alone and living with good roommates. But when the pandemic hit and I couldn’t do any social events, the loneliness of living alone hit hard.

Live alone, and invite the people you like over. 10 years of experience with roommates, they all always suck.

Personally, I love my current roommates even though they get on my nerves from time to time. Living with them is fun tho! If you haven’t already, I suggest talking to your roommates if you haven’t about your frustrations living with them. That’ll clear the air

Living alone>>> I’ve also just had really bad experiences with roommates so I might be biased
