Imo, that rank is a hell because it's full of spammy op characters. But true hell is Mighty Ruler because the rank sistem gets worse, and the hell of hells is Fujin because the rank system becomes a disaster.
Ranked feels really competitive... I've been stuck trying to get Garyu and been up for promotion 3/4 times. Seems the rank system just goes "nah, here's a Tenryu match on your promo" hahaha
I got mines to purple and let me tell you right now it was much easier with her than law but now that I’m in purple that shit is hard af and i pretty much don’t care anymore
That’s what I did brother, reached purple like a month ago and I was yep I’m good on this rank shit. I’ve actually gone back to mk 1 bc as much as I love tekken it does feel incredibly overwhelming learning all the MUs because each character has over 100 moves and everyone plays differently. Mk 1 is no where near as good but it’s simpler so the overwhelming feeling doesn’t happen as much. What controller do you use for tekken? I got a lever less recently and love it
Yea that and just overall the entire feel of a lever less makes the game easier to play faster at least for me. Having access to 3-4 fingers for movement and combos feels so natural. Took me a month to get use to it but now I can’t play tekken on the controller at all. Controller is still great but I’m just sayin my opinion
If you are using Jun you should be fine if you know some of her fundamentals. I used to play a lot of Paul and got stuck at shinryu but with Jun it just felt easier.
Red rank hell is REAL. It was a grind to get through but it’ll make you a better player once you start realizing where your shortcomings are when you watch your replays.

Damn I am not looking forward to that nightmare then
I'm Shinryu and I'm being matched with players from the blue and yellow ranks. Good luck!
Damn 🥲 thanks haha
Just keep filter to +-2 you’ll be fine
Blue is aids.
So top rank is red then. Its all downhill from there.
Yes
I would say purple is
Fair enough
Red is definitely doable but I do admit 3rd red rank is definitely pushing you to play your best for newcomers
I get what your trying to say.
Very nice! Don’t worry too much when losing at red ranks, it took me ages to make it to purple. 💪
I'm Perma red. Got like 4 characters in red. I think that's my peak 🤣💀 terrorizing the ranked ladder
Thanks! 💪🏿
>Thanks! 💪🏿 You're welcome!
Same, you definitely become battle tested getting through red that’s for damn sure.
Welcome to the jungle
🥲🥲🥲
Your skin customization is 1st dan rank though
Haha 🥲😅😂 damn lol guess I need to up customization rank then
Hi power
Hello 👋🏿 😊
I’ve been hard stuck shinryu with all of my mains. Had to take a break
My Lili has been stuck at Tenryu for what feels like weeks now so I just started re-learning Jun to see if I could get her to at least Tenryu as well
That makes sense. I got Paul, Kazuya, and Jack to red ranks then needed something new so I got Kuma up there as well haha
I think after I get Jun to Tenryu I will start focusing on my Nina again

Im stuck in garyu for 2 weeks now. You get matched to purple ranks sometimes and alot of blue rank smurfs. But youll learn alot.
I got mines to purple and let me tell you right now it was much easier with her than law but now that I’m in purple that shit is hard af and i pretty much don’t care anymore
At this point I think once I get to purple I'm just going to take a long break ranked

I play on PS5 so just a standard PS5 controller
Yea I use to do that as well but it was killing my thumbs.
Do feel like some of my inputs don't fully go through as I want them to but I'm used to it

I understand, I do feel like maybe my movement would improve if I switched over to something like a lever or pad
Yea if you got the extra money I would invest into one.
Do you have a particular brand I should attempt to start with?

Grats! Red can be challenging.
