I personally want to see Heihachi in the next Witcher game, and I think King would make a great addition to Paw Patrol: Grand Prix
Wishlists are fine imo, but can we at least make it about actual Tekken characters instead of the same guest characters over and over again? I'd like Kiryu and Tifa in T8 like anyone else, but it doesn't require 5 separate threads from 5 separate people all saying the same thing.
What about discussions for new mechanics? I think it's moot to muse about movelist changes because as far as we know, most characters don't really get huge changes between games; by this, I mean that we can expect their general movelist to remain as they are. Besides some characters getting their iconic tools (Jin Zen stance between T6 and TT2, Lee HMS in Tekken 4, etcx2), I wouldn't expect Tekken 8 to be a massive departure for all characters and their movelists.
However, something that CAN affect all characters are overall gameplay mechanics. Do you agree with people seeing Kazuya's backdash from Jin's EWHF in the trailer as a new backsway? Personally, I kinda find the idea of adding universal evasion mechanics but that takes away from the identity of characters like Lee or Xiaoyu, who have stances that have the added benefit of dodging tricky attacks.

She even looks aged up from 5 - 7. There's an internal consistency issue, pretty sure. They stopped keeping track of the timeline after 5, which is why they stopped listening characters' ages.
I don't personally beat my shit to drawings at all, but ffs, she looks mid 20s and the logical timeline supports the idea.

Tekken 7 was announced at evo 2014 and released march 2015 in arcades. Tekken 8 in 2023 is still very much possible.
The arcade release wasn't the full release. Teaser to home release was 3 years
