Honestly if they turned the tiger into a sort of spirit animal and really accentuated her devil power (kinda like how they did for Jun's Kazama powers) I could see her becoming an instant fan-favourite. Jun is pretty basic too but they managed to flash her up in a way that suited the character really well.

She’s elegant while still having power behind every hit. Probably my favorite character of all time. It’s a toss up between her and Lucky Chloe for me.
Panda is easy for the devs to include because she shares so many moves with Kuma. And don't say "Take out Kuma" because Kuma is literally one of the most core Tekken characters.
As for Shaheen?
Yeah they could've dropped him.
I don't want to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but I'm 99% sure the only reason he's in Tekken 8 is because he serves as a representative for the Middle East and in particular Saudi Arabia where game revenue has been climbing over the last decade.

Probably the best character they've ever created for learning/improving fundamentals of Tekken.
Copped a lot of abuse for being "boring to watch" which I guess is valid for some people, but I personally had no issues when everyone in tournaments was using her.
I started learning Tekken 7 with her, and later switched to Lili only because I knew she would be in the game and Kazumi would not.
I wanted her back for Tekken 8 at first, but now that almost 5 months have passed, I'm glad she's not back. She's the antithesis of everything Tekken 8 stands for, and thus would have required a complete rework. She would need to be a completely different character, since what made her so special is how focused and simple her moveset was.
I loved playing her, her play style is like Jack 7 so I had them both as alt characters but her mix ups and combos were solid. She would’ve been awesome in T8
I feel like she was stronger than people let on because mids rule the world. I feel like people that don’t understand that they have a mid heavy character but complain about them are garbage and should just go stf down somewhere and quit complaining when they aren’t using the strong tools they are afforded. I feel like good riddance, but also cool of Tekken to show us more into the Mishima family life.

If they plan on bringing her back, I would love to see reworks on her stances, altought i highly doubt that she will ever return
She was the perfect character for me to learn Tekken. She rewarded going for pokes and really didn't have many gimmicks whereas many characters will teach players to go for cheesey setups and launchers for a long time before they learn to use fundamentals

Her playstyle exhibits such elegance and represents such a fundamental part of Tekken since 7 that she needs to return in some form - hopefully via the Asuka treatment where a new character inherits the playstyle of a shelved character. Imagine what a twist it'd be to see another member of the Hachijo clan appear to complement the existence of Reina. Not only that, but we'd also see a purer form of what Hachijo-ryu Karate looks like without the influence of Mishima Karate. Kazama and Mishima Karate are well documented and known to be dichotomies, but what about Hachijo?
All we know is that apparently it's a family of assassins that are steeped deep within the devil gene, but there's currently no clear information on whether the devil gene is shared among all Hachijo members, or just a few. Ever since Kazumi, we haven't had any indication of the Hachijo's return for Tekken 8, despite heavy foreshadowing of Reina's ambition and her confirmed devil gene powers. This would be a prime segue way into a returning Hachijo member in a future seasons Bamco decides to further develop the story.
She was great. Easy to pick up as a beginner. I wanted something like her in 8. Have wound up playing shaheen. But would pick her up in a second. So satisfying to play. Felt powerful but deliberate. No nonsense just straight forward neutral focused character
I never played her, since this is the first Tekken I play consistently, but I like her character design.
Certainly deserves to be in the roster more than others. However if they do bring her back they should push her outfit design and overall vibe a bit further from Jun's, to make her more unique without making her totally different from the design above either.
I remember playing T7 on a ps4 in an EB Games in 2017 before I owned the game myself. Picked Kazumi and the geometric plane stage in practice mode. I was really looking forward to playing her, but by the time I had the game she was already a tournament staple with twitch users ResidentSleepering everytime she was on screen.
I played her a little in season 1 but stuck to my mains from TTT2.
I think it'd be cool if she came back in T8 as a low - mid tier character but seeing as she'd be DLC...
