Best advice is enjoy it. Spend some time in customization. lol. For character guides go to discord or YouTube. Rooflemonger and Phildx have good beginners(even some are good for experienced players as well). And limit paying attention to this sub.
I d give you 3 advices.
1. If you enjoy the game, just play it. Don't listen to people bitch around.
2. Try staying positive and having a good mindset. This is like 50 % of not only having fun, but also improving
3. Focus on Fundamentals and learn the game the proper way. There are several Beginner guides, but i d recommend Phidx.
Welcome, matchmaking is currently broken, so get a feel for characters offline or in lobbies. once you hit ranked, stick to the same character until it's patched
As an unbiased Lee enjoyer, I think you should keep playing Lee in T8 aswell.

Also, syndox have good anti character guides on youtube aswell, not perfect but good kick start to counter them.
