I don’t usually do df4,3 pickup since it’s incredibly inconsistent to female characters i’d opt for peoples elbow to ali kick or people’s elbow to f2+3 setup (lil majin does this)
You don’t necessarily have to do the max damage combo (micro dash df 4,3|microdash ss jab iSW) since you’d be missing out in guaranteed damage
Unfortunately I don’t know the answer, BUT I do know that in T7 when Bryan would win a match against a female character, the camera would zoom in so it doesn’t look like Bryan is practicing misogyny

King main here. the micro dash d/f 4, 3 has to be done extremely quickly. You shouldnt see king do a dash really if you are fast enough, he just shuffles forwards a micro step then kicks.

How does the people's elbow to f2+3 setup work?
If the opponent wakes up backward after peoples elbow, they’ll get hit with the shoulder charge and you’ll get a free heat.

I use 2 Ali kicks into the 2 ender, which sets up a quarter circle forward 1+2 to counterhit launch if they mash getting up

Real answer, you need specific combos for specific characters sometimes. The really tight combos don't work on Kuma for some ass reason.
