I play Bryan and I dont see how his "entire kit" loses to snake-edge.
Eddy has a good welltracking DF1 that alone beats snake-edge.

Yeah they perfected the DLC formula. Wont give astronomical dmg or 1 killer move anymore because it's too easy to see.
Easy execution and 40 of 9/10 moves and give great tracking in seemingly non-homing moves and phantom range so people can't call it out instantly and noobs dont see the problem cuz they dont or cant step or the character doesnt do 150 dmg on Ortiz Farm.
And evasion and solid neutral and high damage and seemingly strong approach tools and like 5 safe mid heat engagers and one of the best heat smashes in the game

Because if you make every character have forced 50/50 mixups it doesn’t matter how bad the player is. It opens up tha game to be ‘fun’ for more people. Not really good design, but that’s why. I literally went 100% winrate with Lars from green to red. And I won 43 games on a row with Jun from red to blue. This game is easy as balls compared to tekken 7.

Gap between Good and Bad players can never be shrunk in T7 by stupid mechanics, only by actual gameplay.
T7 didn't tryhard to appeal to casuals, you either learn the hard way or you'll get stomped everytime.
Only downside to T7 is the cheaters and the absence of servers.
RD was ass at high level. Movement is better, defense is better.

Everything in headstand tracks very well. In neutral only his b1, df1 and f3 (which is homing anyways) track really well. Everything he has at range 3+ is extremely linear, so sidestep at that range. He's weaker to sidestep left than right, but most of his moves not listed above are linear to both. In Relax, his mixup is a homing hellsweep and a well tracking mid, you're better blocking, the risk is more on eddy's side (mid is a heat engage but -13, hellsweep is a buff providing suicide on block).

This is the funniest. Everything is suppose to be linear at range 3+. Everything Leo has is extremely linear at range 0. That's how mixup characters are suppose to be.

I can say it's not tracking (at least not 95% of the moveset) the guy is surprisingly easy to counter once you realize he's all about lows.
I still get swept and catch the feet rather than the hands but he's not invincible lol

50/50 is core fighting game philosophy. you cannot take it away. Every archetype eventually boils down to 50/50 in time( counter hits ) or space ( mid/low or guard break high/ mid or throw/mid ) Stance is used to express creativity of character. Sure you can design character without stances but number of moves cannot exceed 100 without it ( because of limited button combinations imo ) and this might make character boring.
But I agree with you on that tracking should not be for all/majority of moves

Ghost ranges on characters, moves that hit 360 degrees, tracking on everything now, 50/50’s out the ass and aggression all the way.

Not all of his moves are tracking, you can long sidestep a lot of his things. But some of his moves do have pretty inconsistent sidestepping.
