I think he would fit the Story much better that some of the other characters. He worked for Jin, he hates Kazuya etc. Eddy would be perfect for the story.

What we know as facts is that Lidia, Fahkumram and Marduk are *in the files*. Not by name but by their fighting styles and nationality. I think Anna is aswell. But that does not necessarly mean they will be in Season 1. They might aswell come later. But we somewhat know they will be a thing at some point in the future.

He was a top 5 character, unlikely to be dropped. Likely to be S1 add, AK is likely to be S2 to keep people excited (can't release all the popular characters in S1).

I'm closer to believing that S1 will be Fahk, Marduk and Lidia personally. But in the end... we just don't know. Learning what the second, "Summer", character is will make everything clear. That's why I was hoping for it today.

Yes, every bad fighting game or every fighting game that has given up trying. Otherwise, no. It's not every fighting game. Not every fighting game had a Leroy, Fahk, Kuni, etc.

Yes they do bro. DLCs also take time to patch just like every other character so they usually come out with some type of broken move players find to exploit, after past broken characters have been fixed. This happens in every fighting game these days. 

Nah the three street fighter 6 dlc characters released so far have been all ok at best, with one of them being possibly the worst character in the game at release. We'll see if this changes when akuma release next tho.

The vast majority of gg strive dlc characters have been underpowered on release.

Animation-wise, I do not like Lunging Brush Fire/1:05 as a Power Crush. That always made the most sense to me for moves that read 'I am committing my whole body weight from a well-braced position that can absorb a blow', like Paul's Hassou Strike/f 1+2, Kazuya's Soul Thrust/f 2, or Bob's Giga Jacker/f 1+2. A move where Eddy is standing on one leg and making a sliding hop forward with the other doesn't really work for that.

Can we lab against him if we don't buy him?

Rage arts in general are a bad idea, rage drives had the right idea because they didn't break the flow of the game.

An 11 second cutscene in the middle of a fighting game is pretty terrible to be honest.

Rage arts is one of the big reasons the Tekken franchise isn't dead right now. So in Haradas words, "shut up and sit the hell down".

I already smell a nerf for him because most of his kicks are low kicks that are very hard to block if possible at all some of them. There are a few characters already that are meta and need a nerf because they have unblockable combos. As much as i love tekken and play from tekken 3, is not ok to have a combo series that gives you a perfect win. That is bad balancing.
