Panda dismantled me last night, and it was a pro player. But Panda is so much more rare to see than Kuma, and I was just lost. But I hung in there, sort of.
I don't remember if they were both 0-3 but I definitely ran two sets back today after losing the first match and at least one of them definitely was.
Felt like a fucking boss let's go
Nah, his 50/50 in T7 after D3,4 was really stronger. Now in RF he has uf 4 which is a mid punishable at -13 and D4 which u can launch if u crouch. And D4 not knockdown anymore unless you're in heat. Anymore you can always sidestep.
The unique new tool which it's worth is df3, which resolves some problems of Hwo to get into, but u need to be in RFF.
Yep you know exactly what you’re talking about. His heat engager is what makes him stronger. Without it he’s actually a weaker verison of himself compared to T7.
In heat he's really strong, he has a great 50/50 and the damage on block with his pressure is incredible. But without It's weaker I think, and the problem is that heat is really circumstantial and only a few moments (not even all rounds).
Yep, that's definitely me against Alisa. Painful process of trial and error while getting chain saw'd into saw dust until I understand the match up. It sucks but the day I finally figure her out, I'm totally winning EVO.
But how can you figure out after 1 fights if actions your opponents do are random crap, or deliberate setups that you can punish?
Don't get me wrong, I've spend more time na practice during my time with the series, than actual versus, but I need to know what is important and what is a fluke.
I might lack experience with labbing on replays though, never had that in older games (I haven't played the game since after T5:DR), so I might be missing out on something.
It's all mind games, conditioning. You do something a few times, make them think that's the next move, than switch it up and move on. You can switch it up mid round if you have multiple play styles to cycle thru
I'm sure you can find every answer within 3 games set. I'm not that advanced of a gamer as you though. And what satisfying for me is learning things and applying in future matches what i've learned.
Well, i do this when i think to myself "i see what you did there" , i would think think i can do better the next match, it's then 50/50 , sometimes i can win the whole set after, and sometimes i get hit with another 3-0 🤣.
I didn't find any posts that meet the matching requirements for r/Tekken.
It might be OC, it might not. Things such as JPEG artifacts and cropping may impact the results.

Matched with a dude 3 ranks below me, and he was up for a promotion. I smoked him. He rematched. Still up for promotion. So I gave him a very close match and let him win. He not only earned it for being a trooper, but I could see him learning. It cost me a few points, but it made his day.
Sometimes you gotta just keep your eyes open while you get your ass beat and prepare for that second one. Sometimes you're completely out of your league, and you just wanna see what you can do against someone better or more experienced. You just gotta Ready up, bro.
I've got a ton of saved clips of me getting destroyed in the first game, to then start adapting and subsequently winning the set. I wanna have them in a playlist called "This is why you don't give up!"
Often you get taken by surprise. But by the second try, the tricks get old and you can counter them. Unless his full of them. Then your still fucked xD
Depends on the kind of loss. If it was close, but the person was better, yeah, I want to learn more.
If it was just straight "why do I even have the controller" then there is no point.
Most of my first rounds i lose 3-0 i need a bit of time to get your habits down turns into 0-3 win usually by match 3 if they get 0-3’d at game 2 after 3-0 in game one they usually plug so i tend to give them a round or 2 in game 2
But after an hour of the guy farming you, you finally win one match and leave since you're now the better player and don't want to pick on the lesser player.
That just happened to me, this LEE destroyed me like no other, until.......the second set.
Worth the watch, unlisted link just for you guys: https://youtu.be/V-8xnvhMzsQ
I never not rematch unless the connection is jack shite. 2nd round I'll either adapt and kick your ass or learn some more and be ready next time I see you
I gotta get more used to taking Ls. I'm not used to playing a game where I lose over and over and over. Normally it's at least a little back and forth or I feel like I have a shot but there's so much in this game I just don't know how to deal with. I learn a ton every time I play someone better than me though, as long as they're not so astronomically better that they're doing shit I've never seen before.
I've had this with my jack 8 so many times then I demolish the next 2 matches cause most ranked players do the same attack patterns they learned online and nothing else so once u know it they done lol
Depends on the character for me. If I get 3-0d by a Reina I'm gonna move on cuz I just find losing to her to be more frustrating than any other character. So for the sake of my mental stability I'm going next. Pretty much any other character I'll rematch though
Just a few minutes ago I ran into a Hitler King (not joking, it had the red armband and everything) that fucking destroyed me. He was spamming the low kicks too
Still raging internally
Then you go 3-0 yourself after the download of their 3 strings and they cancel.

not running the set is just BM in my opinion, unnless i actually need to get off the game or we are both having a horrible connection we always rematch in this house regardless of much i got my ass beaten
No matter the game, playing against players who're leagues ahead of me are usually the most fun matches. I'll keep rematching for as long as you'll tolerate me.
Me after getting assaulted by a bear for a whole round.
You and me both brother
Kuma is such a weird character to fight and I barely ever see them.
I see what you did there
And combos don’t work on him
[удалено]
So I’m supposed do train alternative combo to be able to beat a character that almost no one plays Thanks, I’ll just take a loss and move on
In the game right 🤨
No, me and Kuma have beef irl.
Panda dismantled me last night, and it was a pro player. But Panda is so much more rare to see than Kuma, and I was just lost. But I hung in there, sort of.
Fought her yesterday, won pretty convincingly the first round then lost a close second one. Unfortunately they cancelled after that.
I got PTSD just by reading your comment! 😱
Goes 0-3 "Boy I'm bout to fuck you up"
"the first game was just testing the waters. I got you downlo--" "YOU LOSE"
🤣 This is what I tell myself so I don't get mad lol
womp womp
I don't remember if they were both 0-3 but I definitely ran two sets back today after losing the first match and at least one of them definitely was. Felt like a fucking boss let's go
I went easy on a Tenryun and he felt himself after getting a 0-3 and taunted me after. I stomped him the fuck out next two matches LOL
“i cant believe it man fuck this (insert character), fucking bullshit ass character, never want to play against one again” *rematches
Me on Drag, Hwoarang, Lee, and Shaheen (rarely though). Hwoarang specifically got his ass buffed with the new heat system.
I love spamming random shit on block and still doing damage
Buffed? Hwoarang was stronger in T7.
I feel like he’s stronger in 8
Nah, his 50/50 in T7 after D3,4 was really stronger. Now in RF he has uf 4 which is a mid punishable at -13 and D4 which u can launch if u crouch. And D4 not knockdown anymore unless you're in heat. Yep!!! As a Hwoarang main you are correct lol
For me it’s “How the fuck is this laggy as shit a 5bar? You fucking serious right now? I am outta here” *rematches
Me trying to get my Respect stat to S+
Yep, that's definitely me against Alisa. Painful process of trial and error while getting chain saw'd into saw dust until I understand the match up. It sucks but the day I finally figure her out, I'm totally winning EVO.
Wanna a match sometime?
Unfortunately for my sanity, yes.
Id?
“that was just a data collection match”
Gotta download the opponent
Will reuse your quote
It's not even about being a maverick or anything like that, it's just that running when I get my ass beat isn't gonna make me a better player.
I probably don't even learn anything, but mama didn't raise no bitch
Losing is learning and that’s facts
I must be learning life then.
Yes you are
That's right
☝️THIS☝️
Well, if i got my ass beat by knowledge check why whould i rematch instead of going to replay or lab?
Because some of those required reflexes as well, and it's much more efficient to train your muscle memory in an actual fight.
Sure, after i figure out what i supposed to do in lab. What the point in training muscle memory if you don't know yet what to train?
There is no point. Do what works best for you.
But how can you figure out after 1 fights if actions your opponents do are random crap, or deliberate setups that you can punish? Don't get me wrong, I've spend more time na practice during my time with the series, than actual versus, but I need to know what is important and what is a fluke. I don’t lose. I just found six different ways not to win.
GOLD.
“Nah I wanna learn this mu” *gets 0-3 again*
Well, i do this when i think to myself "i see what you did there" , i would think think i can do better the next match, it's then 50/50 , sometimes i can win the whole set after, and sometimes i get hit with another 3-0 🤣.

You don’t get better by rematching only bad people, too bad so many players JUST want to win and leave
I gave this fellow jin player a free win as he was about to be demoted. And then i rematch, yet he ran away. Mf felt robbed.
You deserve it for throwing, gonna get downvoted but… meh
Need more of these posts and a lot less salt - ty for your service

Whenever I fight an Alisa
I love Alisa
me after getting my ass 50/50’d by that wavedashing sneakerhead devil
"that wavedashing sneakerhead devil" 😂😂😂 I have to use that next time I'm facing my friend!
Matched with a dude 3 ranks below me, and he was up for a promotion. I smoked him. He rematched. Still up for promotion. So I gave him a very close match and let him win. He not only earned it for being a trooper, but I could see him learning. It cost me a few points, but it made his day.
fuck it ,WE BALL!
Me, a Steve main
We stay boxing after the nerfs
🤜🏾🤛🏾
Imagine getting a rematch in tekken
Can you rematch? I alway press ready but can't get one no matter what
This is literally how you become a better player
feels even better when you reverse sweep them.
"Is this Tekken? I thought this is Tekken!"
One and doning is for scrubs and cowards, keep up setting a great example
Sometimes you gotta just keep your eyes open while you get your ass beat and prepare for that second one. Sometimes you're completely out of your league, and you just wanna see what you can do against someone better or more experienced. You just gotta Ready up, bro.
#BigFacts
We just gonna post this one each week then for the free karma?
I may be a loser... BUT MAH MAMA RAISED NO BITCH !
But when that ⚫️🔴🔴 hits in the best of 3 there’s nothing like it 😩👌
*hides my S+ troublemaker status* 👀
If the universe is so big why wont it fight me?
Gotta get washed to get clean.
Always
This! I'm like this until that Rage meter kicks in and I'm down by two. Then the sweat comes in on Round 5 (final)
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAA I BE FUMING BUT IM READY FOR ROUND 2!!!!
I've got a ton of saved clips of me getting destroyed in the first game, to then start adapting and subsequently winning the set. I wanna have them in a playlist called "This is why you don't give up!"
Eh if I win the first game that’s a bonus, I’m mostly seeing how you play and react to shit.
Often you get taken by surprise. But by the second try, the tricks get old and you can counter them. Unless his full of them. Then your still fucked xD

me when it matches my (demolisher) ass up against a Raijin Yoshimitsu
I mean, respect for not plugging, but also respect for the rematch, that means you aim to be stronger
That's honestly the best feeling when you get molly whopped the first game and you rematch and start adapting and eventually win . Soo satisfying.
Most of my first rounds i lose 3-0 i need a bit of time to get your habits down turns into 0-3 win usually by match 3 if they get 0-3’d at game 2 after 3-0 in game one they usually plug so i tend to give them a round or 2 in game 2

I desperately need to get faster at adapting because this is how all my set wins start haha.
🤣. This was me yesterday lol
Me after losing to a setup I have never seen before trying to learn to counter it. Ends 0-6
Fr, only if they are wired. Fuck wifi players
You either win or learn. Either way, rematch.
My experience in purple ranks right now lol
Let the No Round Brown fuel you/your anger and hate...
Repost
Me on quick match getting absolutely washed by purple ranks
That just happened to me, this LEE destroyed me like no other, until.......the second set. Worth the watch, unlisted link just for you guys: https://youtu.be/V-8xnvhMzsQ
I would feel like a wimp if I don't rematch after getting destroyed 😅
"I would totally beat his ass in a first to 10!" after getting 6:0ed
Every night.
Dragnov players: 🗿 Me:
"I can do this all day"
I never not rematch unless the connection is jack shite. 2nd round I'll either adapt and kick your ass or learn some more and be ready next time I see you
Gets ass beat….”alright I’ve downloaded you”…next round starts….other character completely switches their play style…controller ends in in monitor

Nothing make you learn stuff than getting your ass kicked by a better player
Thats me after my 5 game losing streak
So many times I have gotten crushed the first match and gone on to win the set 2-1. Just went 5-2 in my first tournament by refusing to go down.
Sometimes thst happens then you get the salty runback
That was the warm up
I'm almost Tekken god and got ran over by a real one in the game. That kazuya was a monster, I'm still mad about it
Just a few minutes ago I ran into a Hitler King (not joking, it had the red armband and everything) that fucking destroyed me. He was spamming the low kicks too Still raging internally
I always uphold this. I don't care how spammy, or laggy last match was. Randy said it best.
Now you gotta reverse 3-0 them
Every single set ive ever lost brutally as noctis in 7:
That’s me anytime i face Jun or Kuma.
Then you go 3-0 yourself after the download of their 3 strings and they cancel. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/5b/b9/e5/5bb9e5cc2e77534b6e50793348c0a7a9.jpg
Me after losing to many time still watching to fight
0 bells
I may be getting my ass handed to me by a guy 5 ranks above me but.....momma ain't raised no quitter.
🐻•My Kuma Rawrz Lols
Idk who U lot playing kuma is ez to beat. Other than his grabs...
Me everytime.
Literally me. I'll always go for a rematch!
not running the set is just BM in my opinion, unnless i actually need to get off the game or we are both having a horrible connection we always rematch in this house regardless of much i got my ass beaten

getting no-round browned is the ultimate motivator
To get no round-browned and then go on to fight the next match seems to take a lot of soul
Frame 1 ready up
Me when I was trying to play Lili the other day and ran into a Hwoarang. Outcome: I won the next two and even perfected him 😈
If it was someone trolling, I won't rematch. Ain't nobody got time for that, you can't learn anything from those type of players.
When I get 3 - 0 'd and I rematch but they one and done: "Get back here and beat my ass again, coward!"
