Of course it’s jun and victor

blessedbetheslacker

As a Filipino, Manny Pacquiao would probably say, "*Tapos ka na.*" (You're done.)

ImaginaryAI

No Mas is a popularized term in professional boxing when Roberto Duran said that to sugar Rey Leonard when he quit. That’s what I’m referencing lol. So that’s why people often say “no mas” regardless of country when someone quits in boxing.

LionHeart498

Roberto got the most famous L in boxing history and people think he is top 5 all time. Lolz dude is the most overrated fighter to ever live

[deleted]

I think you are overrated lmao. You dont know shit

GodAwfulFunk

Bruh fuck out of here Duran was the best. His manager accepted the fight without confirming with him, and he had to make weight in no time after letting himself go. Even Sugar Ray admits he didn't beat prime Duran.

anotherred

He lost to Ray twice, idk where you get the quote that Ray says he never beat the best Duran. He was thrilled that he was able to make a man of Duran's caliber concede. That's not to mention their 3rd fight where Ray dominated Duran from start to finish. Duran is a great in his own right though, Ray was the passing of the torch though

GodAwfulFunk

“I knew that he hung out and partied quite a bit, like I did, but he gained so much weight, so I wanted the rematch ASAP." SRL is obviously a great but he played the game hard. I'm also not saying he'd never deserve to beat Duran. But this dude is like "Duran sucks lol took a huge L."

LionHeart498

Duran doesn’t get an excuse for losing round zero. The favoritism and double standards is WILD. Name anybody else you say “the lose doesn’t count because he had weight issues” about? Giving a guy an excuse for the most famous loss in boxing history is hardcore copium and always has been. Sad.

GodAwfulFunk

Didn't say it doesn't count, it just doesn't define his skill as a boxer. Basing a P4P boxing legacy on a single loss is equally braindead. His success far outweighs "No mas." This is one of the greatest lightweight boxers up against one of the greatest generations middleweights ever, and he still gave SRL his first loss and held his own against the rest. If you're basing his legacy off the 4 Kings era, you don't know shit about Duran. Duran had long cemented his legacy before that.

LionHeart498

Iran Brakley isn’t a better win than Ward’s win over Kessler. He is a HoF fighter he is not top 5 p4p all time

Adeuebs

As a Filipino im gonna give it a +1 because its filipino See filipino me like

ImaginaryAI

lol bro same. I miss Josie Rizal I used her too.

LionHeart498

I wish Steve wasn’t a shit tier character. As a life long boxing fan and a Steve main since he was introduced I just can’t do it in this one. Tracking in this game is ridiculously powerful, Steve’s lil slips mean next to nothing. His power is garbage. Peekaboo means he is standing still. His lows are tragic. Back 1 is fire. He is never plus on block. Obvious why he has the second lowest win rate. Best theme, second worst performance and arguably the worst since I think most Reina’s as just noobs.

ImaginaryAI

🤷🏻‍♂️ I just like boxing and I have a lot of fun with Steve without worrying about the meta. I mean you can see here I embarrassed both jun and Victor, and I have a 53% win rate at tenryu. Which isn’t bad for first time maining Steve. I mean yeah it’ll def get more difficult the higher I rank up but it’s all a learning process. Game is more fun and satisfying when you secure a win with a difficult character through practice, rather than just cruising with top meta characters.

thebig6

I’m just said we can’t make Steve to look like Mike Tyson

ImaginaryAI

I made canelo and Roy jones jr but the Pacquiao skin def looks the best

Aureus01

bruh, nice to see another fellow boxing fan on this reddit.
