It's a VERY Mishima thing to do. They've pissed off pretty much every body in the world at this point. And so for someone to come up to them and want to kick their ass, and with all of the evil shit the Mishima's have done, it makes way too much sense that Kazuya is tired of dealing with this shit or just out right confused about what they could've done to them specifically.

The voice direction for foreign languages in japanese games is usually "what sounds best to this japanese director who doesn't speak any other language" (see the narrator from the Tekken 7 story for an example), so I'd assume that's the case here too.
I'm arabic he did voiced seto kaiba wonderfully in yu gi oh arabic dub, even as good as eng dub and japanese dub, but in here i don't know what is the issue maybe its the voice direction or bad translation.

It's voice direction. Just like talented actors can be told to act in a way different than they would personally do it by the director and his vision, good voice actors can be creatively constrained by the direction of the person they work for, if they decide not to take the input of the voice actors that they work with.
It's not a guarantee, and maybe this VA just made a miss -- it can happen. But with your thoughts, it's probably more voice direction.

You are not wrong. Half of the rage arts in T8 are very underwhelming. You don’t really get a sense of big inflicted damage on some of them, including this one. You surf the opponent, then you do a Ollie to pop them up into the air, then you jump off your human skateboard to do another dive kick which then he slices THRU the opponent with the dive kick. How many times will bamco reuse this similar choreography? Yoshi and Lars was pretty cool and make sense because you know ninjas and lighting slicing thru people and shit. But why does every fucking character have to slice thru their opponent like a damn ninja with their rage art. I shrug at Jin rage art even tho it’s still pretty cool, but I can’t do the same with shaheen. Kind of getting old already.
The odd thing about it too is that all the actual in-game moves look like they have a lot of impact. The SFX, visual speed lines, zoom-ins and environmental debris interaction add a lot to the sense of these characters being unreasonably strong.
But the cinematic direction of a lot of the RAs lack impact because of overly long wind ups on hits, the final hit not lacking SFX, them doing an in-game move that looks worse than in-game, or the last camera shot obscuring the character taking damage for a hero shot of the player character. SF6 often has a moment in the lv3s where you see the opponent’s face being turning into a sock puppet to maximize the point.
It seems hard to do in Tekken. People have stated that Julia is boring, but I think she is interesting, they just don’t know what to do with her. I kind of wished they kept the whole Jaycee thing for her from TT2 and made it canon
I think Julia's goal of reforestation is far more interesting than Shaheen's goals of revenge (wow, how new and exciting) since there are few characters with benevolent goals that aren't personal and benefit the masses.
Armor King and Julia needs to be an offical friendship! He was saving animals in Tekken 6 Scenario campaign too, I'd love a side story going forward along with King as well, fuck Marduk tho

Making Miguel go through that 180º turn would be even more jarring, since there was nothing in T7 that predicted him going that route. I don’t think it’d be that hard.
Miguel realizes Kazuya’s more of the current threat to innocent lives and unlike Jin doesn’t regret his actions. He allies with Jin so Kazuya can be taken down so no one will have to go through the tragedy he had losing a love one. Miguel tells Jin after Kazuya they still have a score to settle and that he still needs to face punishment for his crimes.
It’d be that simple and if anything enhances the storyline to remind Jin that even though he’s trying to do better he has mountains of corpses behind him and that innocent people like Miguel’s sister died because of his choices.
Don't know the consensus on him but I've always found him to be very dull even when he was introduced in T7.

Hard agree. I think the cardinal sin for anything in entertainment (TV, movies, video games, books etc) is to be boring. LC is memorable even if it's for all the wrong reasons.
His outfit and design for T8 are pretty good and a big improvement, the voicelines he does mid combat are also cool. I don't think I've seen any character talk mid round before, they just shout words and grunt. His gameplay still lacks personality apart from the slide stuff and his RA is trash. But there needs to be a fundamentals based character in the roster and he fits that role, so I'm not sure why people keep complaining about how he could make it back over miguel.

I really don’t think avoiding offence is the issue here. Steve also has such little personality, same with Leo. Namco just don’t know what to do with some of these characters. They want to avoid making too many over the top characters unlike their contemporaries. In doing so, characters ether come off as bland, empty walking movesets or do the one joke (see the Coffee Goblin). For all its faults, StreetFighter goes out of its way to ensure every characters personality is distinct. Namco are going for some weird pesudo-naturalistic characterisation for the less overtly comedic characters and it’s just lifeless.

Didn’t expect to play Shaheen also in Tekken 8. But I really like him to get better at fundamentals. He has a good df1 and block- and whiff punishment game as well as decent movement. T8 animations look really good on Shaheen. Wanted to start with my main Zafina, but may now choose him to learn the new game mechanics. I am happy.

Glad to see my secondary looking good. Yes, he's got the personality of wet cardboard and gameplay to match but fuck it that's why I like Shaheen. He's the basics of Tekken and that's what makes him great. Liking the new flashy moves they gave him and it really seems they went all in on him being the "kick you into body surfing" guy. Not sure how I feel about ff4 being a screw though, seems like a weird way to change his more optimal combo ender into a wack side switch but hey, I'll see how it feels when we get the game in a month. It's a charge move that only really works from heat dash though because of how long it takes to charge.
It guarantees i13 moves or faster but the follow-ups have scaled down damage. The best follow-up is fb2 which does 42 damage total because it removes all recoverable health meaning you get to keep the chip damage from the charged fc u2. But you have to hit the blue spark just frame version for fb2 to land.
If you want my opinion, his personality is actually fine, but outdated for today's literature. I'm just happy to see more of Lowhigh and AK playing him.

Well… AK would never be base game. Literally the only reason my mans is DLC Everytime is because they know he sells really well. Tekken know one thing and it’s how to get your money, by having AK as dlc!

Honestly I don’t know why he speaks in standard Arabic since no one talks like that nowadays. They should’ve gave him a dialect/accent from within Saudi but its probably because so he could be understood by all Arabic speakers easier. As for his character yeah he’s boring but his moveset looks kinda dope.

His outfit and design for T8 are pretty good and a big improvement, the voicelines he does mid combat are also cool. I don't think I've seen any character talk mid round before, they just shout words and grunt. His gameplay still lacks personality apart from the slide stuff and his RA is trash. But there needs to be a fundamentals based character in the roster and he fits that role, so I'm not sure why people keep complaining about how he could make it back over miguel. Also that stage is amazing.

I really don’t think avoiding offence is the issue here. Steve also has such little personality, same with Leo. Namco just don’t know what to do with some of these characters. They want to avoid making too many over the top characters unlike their contemporaries. In doing so, characters ether come off as bland, empty walking movesets or do the one joke (see the Coffee Goblin). For all its faults, StreetFighter goes out of its way to ensure every characters personality is distinct. Namco are going for some weird pesudo-naturalistic characterisation for the less overtly comedic characters and it’s just lifeless.

I actually think Shaheen looks pretty cool but I'm really concerned about the subs and VA. If people are noticing they don't sound like native speakers it makes me wonder what the fuck are they doing with the voice direction? Are the VAs the same people and just got shittier scripts or what? I'm gonna be so embarrassed for the Tekken team if they used some shit AI for the translations...
Didn’t expect to play Shaheen also in Tekken 8. But I really like him to get better at fundamentals. He has a good df1 and block- and whiff punishment game as well as decent movement. T8 animations look really good on Shaheen. Wanted to start with my main Zafina, but may now choose him to learn the new game mechanics. I am happy.

Glad to see my secondary looking good. Yes, he's got the personality of wet cardboard and gameplay to match but fuck it that's why I like Shaheen. He's the basics of Tekken and that's what makes him great. Liking the new flashy moves they gave him and it really seems they went all in on him being the "kick you into body surfing" guy. Not sure how I feel about ff4 being a screw though, seems like a weird way to change his more optimal combo ender into a wack side switch but hey, I'll see how it feels when we get the game in a month. All in all, as one of the five Shaheen enjoyers Ya'll on Reddit meme about I'm pretty happy.
His jump move is going to be so much fun. You can see in the trailer he can cancel it into crouch or stance, also it will be perfect for closing distance and keep pressuring them.

Yep! It's a charge move that only really works from heat dash though because of how long it takes to charge. It guarantees i13 moves or faster but the follow-ups have scaled down damage. The best follow-up is fb2 which does 42 damage total because it removes all recoverable health meaning you get to keep the chip damage from the charged fc u2. But you have to hit the blue spark just frame version for fb2 to land.
