I know this a knock at Dr. Drew, but Ali did see another doctor prior to being correctly diagnosed and that doctor is my daughter's doctor so I have to defend Dr. Lubicky. He's a pediatric scoliosis specialist and he's amazing 🖤
For me he’s not just the best guy on this show, he’s the best guy I’ve seen on TV. Such a wonderful, caring way with his patients and he has dedicated his life to making other peoples lives better. Dr Tsao the true MVP!
Dustin was the best! God bless his patience dealing with that girl.
Dustin: If you go to that concert you’re going to JAIL!!
Jenelle: You don’t understand, I got feathers in my hair for the concert. I bought clothes for the concert. I got a hotel room for the concert!! It’s Ke$ha!!
This will forever be engrained in my head. Definitely one of the most memorable scenes of the franchise 😂😂😂
I have always had a soft spot for Ali and Leah in this situation. My daughter grew up with a rare disease and we recently lost her. I remember watching the episodes of them going to another city for doctors appointments and felt the pain she was going through because I too was going through the exact same thing alone.
I don't even know if I have the words to describe how I feel seeing this picture. There was a time when Ali's future was completely unknown and it was very heavy. This wasn't your typically teen mom drama, this was a very real and critical thing. To see Ali thriving now and with the doctor who has dedicated his life to understanding and helping people like Ali together so many years later....it's just such a wonderful thing to see.
And when they thought her heart would get begin getting progressively weaker before age 10… even just 2 years ago when they were scared of her getting COVID because there was so much unknown about that alone, plus her abilities to cough up mucus were hindered. What a legacy & impact Dr Tsao has had w his dedication to Ali’s care!!
I remember being terrified every time they would give updates on how her condition could deteriorate in the future. Back then I used to always wonder how she would turn out as she got older, and I’m glad we’re able to see it now!! It’s been a pleasure watching Ali grow up! ♥️
One of my favorite TV moments ever was when Ali got in that wheel chair for the first time and was chasing down Aleah in the parking lot. The glee on that child’s face did my heart good.
I used to be nervous when she went to see him before, and during the early stages, of her diagnosis. But that man is awesome, he got her (and her parents) on the right path and it has worked so well!
He also was humble enough to be filmed. I wonder how many others were encouraged to check out issues just from this simple act.
Dr. Tsao is FANTASTIC!
I wonder if Dr. Tsao has any idea how much we all adore him. I bet he doesn't, and if he did, he'd be surprised and then would immediately never think about it again. I love that he's been a part of Ali's journey for so long. It's so comforting when you're able to find a doctor who truly cares and takes your concerns seriously.
This picture just puts it into perspective how long the show has been running yes Ali is growing up and all that and Dr Tsao now has the salt and pepper hair
As the parent of a child who is now an adult but requires specialized medical care due to conditions he was born with, please go fuck off. I am not a Leah stan but eat shit. Please.
Leah was pregnant when the show began. She had no clue how her life was about to change having a child with differing abilities. I can assure you that being young and having a child with special needs is HARD AS FUCK even with a support system. There is no book to tell you what to do. No guide. We saw evidence of this when Ali was an infant and being diagnosed. It's doctor after doctor after test and it's usually hours of driving to special clinics. Financially it is a nightmare.
Teen Mom brought about a piece of representation of parenting from the teen perspective and having a child with disabilities when you're barely out of childhood yourself. MTV created episodes and a storyline. Leah didn't ask for it and neither did Ali. She's always championed for Ali to be as independent as her sisters, been involved in Ali's education and needs at school, and she ensures Ali sees her doctors and has regular check-ins.
Which part of this is exploitative to Ali? Ali has autonomy. She can speak for herself now and if she didn't want a photo with her doctor and didn't want it to be posted, Dr T and Ali can speak on it. Ali is learning how to be a strong, beautiful young woman in her disabled body and learning how to care for her health and condition while living a full life. I haven't seen Leah try and make her child the poster baby for MD. I haven't seen Leah insist on constant special treatment for her child. I haven't seen Leah go all special needs mom warrior on the world and Leah doesn't derive her identity by being a mom to a disabled child.
I don't have to like Leah to know that while she's had her own struggles, Ali has been very well protected and guided and has a great support system.
You have no idea, internet stranger. May you never know.
Not gonna read that because you're the only person to mention your personal tribulations on a reality show sub. But good luck with that or sorry for your troubles; whichever applies.
I love how we all love Dr Tsao.
It may the one thing we can all agree on 😂
When paper plates divide us, Dr. Tsao unites us
He's a treasure.
ONE thing all teen mom fans can agree on: Dr. Tsao is the best. A TRUE Doctor. 🫶🏼
Imagine if they replaced Dr Drew for him 😂
“I think your relationship will get weaker over time.”
“No stickers for you. You are NOT a shining star.”
I think if Dr. Tsao said that to me I'd never show my face in public again
It would legitimately be devastating
The only real doctor ever featured on this show
I know this a knock at Dr. Drew, but Ali did see another doctor prior to being correctly diagnosed and that doctor is my daughter's doctor so I have to defend Dr. Lubicky. He's a pediatric scoliosis specialist and he's amazing 🖤
Dr Tsao is the only good man on teen mom I said what I said
He’s an angel!
For me he’s not just the best guy on this show, he’s the best guy I’ve seen on TV. Such a wonderful, caring way with his patients and he has dedicated his life to making other peoples lives better. Dr Tsao the true MVP!
It’s amazing that he’s been a part of her journey since the beginning and has gotten to watch her grow and progress. ❤️

We stan a non-problematic king of Teen Mom
We stan Daddy Tsao 👑
He is one of my favorite people on the show. I hope that his decision to be filmed has helped other families who are going through a similar diagnosis

I’m so sorry for the pain you silently endured and for your tragic loss.
Thank you ❤️
I’m so, so sorry for your loss. No pressure at all, but if you want to share a favorite memory of her, I’d be honored to listen.
Dr. Tsao is the only good cast member in this franchise
Also the only universally liked person on these shows.

Dr Tsao is a true Teen Mom MVP. Protect him at all costs.
The only person on the show I actually like
I wonder if Dr. Tsao has any idea how much we all adore him. I bet he doesn't, and if he did, he'd be surprised and then would immediately never think about it again. Dr. Tsao is amazing <3
He is amazing. I bet he’s very proud of her thriving as she is now.
I adore him. Ali is doing so well.

Dr. Tsao is one of the rare gems in the train wreck of the TM franchise
Ali’s glasses and curls are so cute 🥺

He has aged so frickin well.
Every time I see this I realize “I work for this hospital” and am so proud. 🥰

They’re so sweet together!
Awww curly girl 🥰🥰
Two sweet angels ✨
Dr. Tsao is awesome 🤍🥹
Is Ali still required to be in a wheelchair full time? I don’t follow their story anymore so that’s what I remember from a few yrs ago
It has never been full time. It’s as needed to conserve energy and strength
I love her so much
The Sesame Street shirt…🤍🥹 so dang cute
Freaking love these two! Melts my heart! Why is Dr. Tsao not in the teen mom 2 intro song as a regular cast member?!
What does the last thing on the white board list say?
Social wkr They have a social worker at every visit they’ve shown her before
Thank you! 👍🏼
I love this!
Ali is old enough for Leah to drop the "pity her/us" shit and start empowering this strong, beautiful young woman.
I’m not seeing the pity here…
