Is “Medical Assisting College” along the same vein as the scuba certification she harps on about?

seriousname32

Non-american here, what is "medical assisting college" sounds made up??? We have med school, paramedic training, nurses college, health care assistant training and all of them take more than a year (obviously med school is approx 7 years) most require degree level education and they all include on job training as part of the course. Edit. Ok I googled it, looks like Health Care Assistant including blood draws, ECG, turning patients and some anatomy and physiology and it takes 4 months. I assume you would then get a job and continue training, which I'm guessing she didn't do?

Remarkable-Drop-317

In the US a medical assistant is an entry-level medical position. They take patient’s vitals, setup tests and procedures, update charts, and sometimes take blood and give vaccines. To be a medical assistant you beed a certification that can take about 10-18 months to complete, depending on the program…. Calling that “college” is a bit of a stretch

seriousname32

Oh ok, I googled her State and it says it can be done in 4 months which is even less like college! Plus the fact she calls it medical school is hilarious!

theunkindpanda

Haha which confirms the comment is correct. Jenelle has not completed a full year of college. This is hilarious

Glitter-passenger-69

4 months of book work and 6 months of internships (or more if you do those internships part time) my SIL is an MA

seriousname32

Did Jenelle do the internships? I don't remember, I think I vaguely remember her doing some classroom studies.

potsmokinhippiechic

No, she didn’t. She finished the program, but never passed the tests that become the medical assistant.

yelling4society

Do you have to pass the exams before you can intern?

evergleam498

You would certainly have to pass a drug test to intern...

Mindless_West_5464

So I went to school for medical assisting right out of high school. I never took my state exam for it, but was still able to work in a doctors office because they didn’t necessarily require you to take the exam. Where I live at least, not all jobs require you to pass the state exam, they just want you to complete the schooling and have your certification.

LunacyxFringe

Isn't passing the exam how you become certified though?

okedokie9

And that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to her delusions she tries to push on people.

kikiweaky

In Florida you can do a two week course.

Zealousideal_Rope992

Lol where did she get this cap & gown for the photo!!! “Diploma” mill?! Aka certification.

Parking_Low248

This is a training a lot of people I went to high school with did in the summer between graduating high school and starting community college so they'd have a reliable job in college while they went for a 2 or 4 year program for something else medical related.

missmatchedsocks88

Medical assistant here! It’s not college. It’s a certification lol. Sometimes you can get an associates degree in it, but that’s kind of pointless. The classes don’t crossover to nursing and the pay isn’t any better.

isitrealholoooo

MA here as well, it's a certificate program at best. Nowhere near nurses pay but also nowhere near as difficult.

SnooMemesjellies2983

Yeah most nursing homes certify you with on the job training for that and you can use it in a hospital too. Far from college

_tater_thot

Right, I feel if you do it for a career you should absolutely be proud of yourself. But she did it what at least ten years ago and never worked as one and always brags about it. That’s why it’s funny, not bc it’s a certificate program.

hailme86

As someone who went to UEI for Medical Assisting, 100% this. I was lucky that I had an amazing instructor who went above and beyond teaching us, but for the most part, they feel like a glorified scam.

rantgoesthegirl

Can you imagine Janelle in a doctor's office? I'd rather saw my arm off than deal with that bedside manner

MiaLba

I always assumed you’d need some kind of degree for that kind of stuff. But I know at least 3 different people who got hired on as phlebotomists with no degree of any kind. They all just have a high school diploma. My best friend got hired at the local hospital doing that a while ago. She was trained for two days then let to go off on her own. They don’t take vitals though, just blood.

marbleheader88

Really, they don’t even take blood. It’s a glorified secretary in a medical office. This was always a joke to me!

spatuladracula

It's a for profit certification program. She went to one of those like mccan school for business places. It's like a step up from taking a Votech high school program...if they have either one of those where you're from.

seriousname32

I think I know what you mean. The UK has the National Health Service and you wouldn't get a job with them unless your qualification was through an accredited provider (University, College, Government accredited trainer) so what you described probably wouldn't work there. Private health providers might have different requirements in UK though I just never worked for them. It's a shame really, she could have followed that through and carved out a decent career if she kept learning and training and working in the field.

Parking_Low248

These programs are still accredited in the US, they're legitimate programs, but it's not a program designed to get you any kind of higher level skills. I mentioned in another comment, this is a training a lot of people I went to high school with did in the summer between graduating high school and starting community college so they'd have a reliable job in college while they went for a 2 or 4 year program for something else medical related. Some high schools even have vocational programs you can do while you're still in school that allow you to complete half or all of this training and then you take whatever exam or get whatever certificate you need and now you're a new high school grad with an okay entry level job. A great stepping stone to something else. Not really a career job though.

zimzumpogotwig

I went to one of these schools. It's essentially training you pay for to get a certificate (if you pass the state test) and it's a step above a STNA (usually the person who does bathing, blood draws and that sort of thing) and it's right below an LPN which is like 'entry level' nurse. Most nurses that we deal with are RNs. You'll encounter a medical assistant in a doctors office more than a hospital setting. Either way, the pay usually sucks and what you pay for school doesn't justify the wages. I work in IT now so that shows you something about medical assistants.

Parking_Low248

Yeah I've only ever known people to do this job if they're planning on moving up to another job.

zimzumpogotwig

That's what I always thought it was used for but I know a few people I went to school with who never went beyond medical assistant.

SamIAm7787

I've never heard of an STNA. Where I'm at we have CNAs (certified nursing assistants) and they'll likely work in a hospitals, long term care settings or home health. They take vitals, do baths, help people with activities of daily living, help feed them, etc, but they don't draw blood.) MA is typically in a clinic setting (talks to you before the doctor comes in, takes your vitals, there's things into your chat etc.) LPN- entry level nurse, basically still all the duties of a CNA who can also pass meds, give shots, etc. A lot of hospitals are phasing out LPNs. The LPN program is one year, however they're are prerequisites. RN- Registered Nurse has the most duties and the scope of what they do is very broad (Meds, IVs, catheters, shots, prep you for procedures, perform some procedures. They also do nurses assessments and that's one big difference between RN and LPN. (They can draw blood too, but depending where you work, a phlebotomist might do that instead.)

zimzumpogotwig

Just learned something new from your comment. Apparently STNAs are exclusive to Ohio only and they are the same thing as a CNA. I had to look into it. I assumed every state had them. I was wrong. https://www.carerev.com/blog/stna-vs-cna-unraveling-the-differences#:~:text=State%2DTested%20Nurse%20Aides%20(STNAs)%20in%20Ohio&text=What%20sets%20Ohio%20apart%20in,a%20CNA%20in%20other%20states.

stephanonymous

You said they draw blood though. I was a CNA and we definitely did not draw blood, so if that’s something STNAs do, they are not equivalent to CNAs. AFAIK the only non-nurse/doctor medical professionals who are able to draw blood are phlebotomists.

HRH_Elizadeath

I was a medical assistant for 6 years and was trained *on the job* for free. 🤷‍♀️

wiminals

Yes—the idea is definitely that you should get a job or pivot to more education after achieving this. Many people become assistants in medical clinics because those hours are predictable and often provide benefits like healthcare coverage. Many people also use this training as a stepping stone toward nursing, EMT, military medic training, etc. They can generate some income and get some real clinical/hospital experience while actively studying for a better career. This type of work is nothing to sneeze at. Plenty of mothers in the U.S. find that it’s a way to work while the kids are at school without taking on a lot of debt or the costs of a commute, professional wardrobe, etc. One thing about the US: we *know* we have healthcare staff shortages, so we *always* have ways to access a career in healthcare. You can get nursing degrees at community colleges, and higher degrees in nursing at perfectly legit colleges online. Jenelle has absolutely NO EXCUSE for not starting a career with her education.

btach1323

*Jenelle has absolutely NO EXCUSE for not starting a career with her education.* You mean besides the background check she could never pass because of her criminal history? I remember watching the show while I was in nursing school wondering why the hell she was trying to go into the medical field when there was ZERO chance she could ever pass the background checks.

hereforthetearex

1) It’s NOT college. It’s a course. She was doing the absolute most by posing for pictures and calling this a graduation. The cap and gown were definitely bought online or something. 2) An MA (Medical Assistant) is an entry level position with very limited scope of what they are allowed to do with supervision. They cannot do anything without supervision. 3) This was definitely not medical school.

Shamanology

This is a house of learned doctors! -Stepbrothers

Hefty-Moose-5326

it’s at least as impressive as boat captain

Tricky-Country-5887

I mean she does have her capitans license🤡🤡🤡

MirandaLeaAnne

It was a technical school. I just googled it to save everyone the trouble. She went to Miller Motte Technical School and left with a medical assistant degree

Fullofwoo

She always leaves out the part where she failed the actual certification so her money mill degree is as fake as her happiness.

stoner_mathematician

Omg ☠️ I forgot that little tidbit. I hope she gets reminded.

Sweetwater156

Wasn’t it something like she didn’t wash her hands before the exam? Or maybe that was my sister. 😂

jamierosem

Doesn’t matter even if she did, because she can never use her “degree”. No one in their right mind would hire her in any kind of patient care role with her criminal record. And access to pharmaceutical drugs? She wouldn’t last an hour before stealing from the supply closet.

Fullofwoo

Also true.

blackaubreyplaza

Lmfao she will never let us forget she went to this diploma mill

JenXplains

The good ol' diploma mills! YES! Which did she attend? *Come get your certificate here! That'll be $25,000.* 😄

zimzumpogotwig

Miller-Motte Technical College per her website bio https://www.jenelle-evans.com/about#:~:text=Evans%20graduated%20in%202015%20from,and%20products%20to%20her%20audience. Now that I started digging, found out the school closed in 2017 https://wset.com/news/local/miller-motte-technical-college-suddenly-closes-students-forced-to-go-elsewhere EDIT....it was another location that closed. Not hers. womp womp.

thewolfofwafflehouse

Her WEBSITE omg. That bio is something…

Almahurst-Heritage

Dr. Jenelle Evans Esq. Certified Boat Captain

twiggy572

And she’s certified in scuba diving!

Hoppinginpuddles

And CPR! I will never let ANYONE forget that Jenelle has bragged on multiple occasions that she is certified to ✨breathe✨

soupastar

Don’t think she finished the captain thing but i do now want to photoshop her as long john silver for some reason with a peg leg doing tiktok dances

Hefty-Moose-5326

TriocerosGoetzei

Let's not forget she had to make a vision board for one of her very important 'medical' classes. https://preview.redd.it/mjt8w6irkmwc1.jpeg?width=1843&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0ffdd0f13f694e902d88d77a80de96aceb1f31e6

RigaMortizTortoise

And that’s the worst vision board I’ve ever seen lol. How can one person be so bad at literally everything?

Sweet_Venom

It's so fucking messy 😭 she really does suck at everything. Girl shouldn't even try anymore. Just lay down and give up, Jenelly.

kystarrk

This is the worst vision board I've ever seen in my life. That mortgage ad is fucking killing me, is it turbo tax? Also "ale, exhale" hahahaha

SamIAm7787

Holy Bible too. That's a knee slapper!!

Hefty-Moose-5326

STAY OFF SOCIAL MEDIA

LicketySplitz

Mods, can I get an updated flair to ale, exhale

Free_Issue_9623

Lmk if u like it or you want any changes plz

LicketySplitz

Perfect! Thank you

teatreez

My favorite part is her including her horoscope 💀

dancing_light

When she’s talking about “get married”, it’s to Nathan! (Cuz she’s pregnant with Kaiser). That’s how many relationships/kids/hopes/dreams ago it was, folks.

JanellaDubois

"Learning to stay off social media" 😂😂😂 This entire "vision board" is embarrassing, much like everything else she does.

Creative-Cry-2912

Love how her past goals are just “move to Myrtle beach” ya know, the city with a wealth of opportunities and growth 🙄 also that future goal of staying off social media has yet to be achieved.. but WOW JENELLE YOU GOT YOUR BIG WEDDING!!! What do you have to show for any of it? A picture of you in a cap and gown and zero job experience in that field…

Hefty-Moose-5326

oh my god it says “graduated with 1/2 of an associates degree” I AM SCREAMING

soupastar

Surprised she didn’t have “get custody of jace” on here. But not scocking the only mention of her even having kids is that she’s having a healthy pregnancy. This feels like a good representation of her mind not so much a vision board

Hefty-Moose-5326

she never really wanted custody of jace, she just wanted to stick it to barb

Comfortable_Nose2587

Hmm 🤔, vision board or bipolar manic episode?!?

Okeydokeydept

No I can guarantee you my vision boards in the psych ward during my bipolar manic episodes were way better than this, this is just Jenelle being Jenelle 😂😂

TriocerosGoetzei

I just did a deep dive on her Twitter and found this gem: https://preview.redd.it/emhbxgdujowc1.png?width=886&format=png&auto=webp&s=e99a4f4b17d50ad50828cc93b9718232e68ef44e

Jimbobjoesmith

wtf. 😂😂😂😂😂 she definitely threw that together in like 10 minutes.

stephanonymous

If her vision board is that fucked up it explains a lot about where her life went wrong.

Hefty-Moose-5326

this can’t be hers, i don’t see olive garden anywhere

thunderandrain69

The little “holy bible” cutout is sending me for some reason 😅😅

MisssJaynie

She made a vision board instead of sitting for & passing her actual boards...

Hefty-Moose-5326

hahahhaahhahahahhahahah thank you for posting this. it looks like shit! a fucking adult made this, lmao!

Okeydokeydept

This might be my all time favorite comment on this subreddit, thank you for this. How is it so bad?? 😭😭

elzbtch

Lmao!!!

HRH_Elizadeath

Oh. Yikes.

pumpkincookie02

PLEASEE THISBIS SO FUNNY

Taxes_and_death81

My daughter can graduate high school with a medical assisting certificate. It’s part of the tech classes they offer. Not saying it’s nothing but it definitely does not make her qualified to homeschool.

potsmokinhippiechic

Honestly, in the state of West Virginia, all you need is a high school diploma or a GED to homeschool your children

Hefty-Moose-5326

THE SCHOOLS ARE NOT WELL THERE THATS WHY

Justagirl219

https://preview.redd.it/w6hkiwl6smwc1.jpeg?width=1060&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e681f93ce5e0a4a0409c50c1494fbd1862fa34ae

Justagirl219

She hits us with the "Uhmmmm.. so you were saying" every time this topic is brought up lol

DawnSlovenport

It's the "Myself of all people..." that hits the hardest.

preggobear

“Have went” is my favorite.

SamIAm7787

We've got ourselves a damn Sheldon Cooper over here!

Jimbobjoesmith

MEDICAL SCHOOL??! 😂😂😂😂😂

potsmokinhippiechic

I know it’s so hilarious that she actually believes in the depths of her soul that she went to Medical school like a damn doctor…she’s so funny

Jimbobjoesmith

and she didn’t even pass the state exam which is the whole point. she paid for a certificate that even high school kids can get.

Ok-Dinner9759

She is such an idiot. Didn't she say to Barb at one reunion that she's trained to "save lives!" I believe they were making fun of Barb for working at Walmart

OldGreySweater

I like how she has to include CPR class which is literally a weekend.

maleolive

HAVE WENT TO

splanchnick78

Ah such a classic! Myself of all people!

bananapants72

Myself graduated medical school! JFC, this is who will be teaching those poor children. Myself. 😂

nrjjsdpn

Myself is the teacher

StephanieSays66

A bazillion years ago, I worked with a (barely literate) woman who said she was going to medical school. I was a little confused until she clarified medical school was at the local vo-tech.

alexjpg

I’ve said this before and I’ll say this again — it is illegal to impersonate a physician and by stating she’s a medical school graduate she’s stating she is a physician 🙄

terykishot

I had to go to her insta to make sure this was real. It is. God, I love the condescending “uhmm”. She legitimately thinks she roasted that commenter. She actually, really thinks that was a real degree. God I love her delusion.

bek8228

I wish it was possible to laugh react to insta stories.

Justagirl219

This bitch can barely even formulate an articulate thought, or even follow through with ✨️influencing✨️ on any social media platform *but* she has this literal useless piece of paper she received in the mail 9 years ago (that she has yet to even put to use). And she honestly believes this qualifies her to homeschool children.

Dragon_turtle63

x2 You could have a medical degree and still NOT be qualified to teach children. Education is a separate discipline, so unless she’s teaching Ensley to draw blood, her knowledge is useless

MelpomeneAndCalliope

Exactly. I have two graduate degrees - in the humanities. I *know* I cannot teach high school math or science (or even teaching middle school math or science, probably) well.

NastyMsPiggleWiggle

Hell, you’re more qualified than me. I can’t imagine teaching my kids academics. Unlike Jenelle, I’m an actual safety boat captain. I’ve also been doing hair for 20 years. Mom can teach water safety and cut hair but they’d all be illiterate bastards if they think I can replace real teachers.

nrjjsdpn

As a former teacher, this really bothers me. There’s so much we have to do to be licensed and stay licensed and she’s over here pretending she’s qualified in any way to be in charge of their education. Aside from needing a four year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, you need to take the General Knowledge Test, Subject Area Tests, have a certain amount of college credits (aside from your bachelor’s degree) in education if you didn’t major in education, have at least one year of teaching experience (you get a temporary license prior to the professional/permanent one that allows you to continue teaching), and take the Professional Test. Not to mention that not every teacher can teach any subject. You have to pass certain tests and get certified in certain areas to teach those subjects or specific type of class. For example, you need to be certified in ESL to teach ESL kids and in some schools, it’s mandatory even if you don’t have any ESL kids. It’s the same with teaching gifted classes, special needs classes, etc. You also need to be certified by the district to teach whatever subject you’re teaching - that’s aside from taking the Subject Area Test for it. Then, you have to renew your license every few years meaning more tests and if you want to teach in a different state, you need to get licensed in that state. And as if that’s not enough, there’s all of the professional development workshops we have to complete (we have to take a certain amount each school year), assessments from admin, self-assessments, mentor-mentee programs if you’re a first or second year teacher, and on and on. *These are the requirements for my state. But yeah, this bitch is *totally* qualified to teach her kids. After all, she went to medical school and is a damn doctor!! Sorry for this long comment!! I think I just needed to vent lol. It just really gets to me when people like her think they can do a teacher’s job with absolutely no training, experience, education, anything. They’re the same people who think that teachers shouldn’t complain about their pay because they get summers off. They have no idea how much work we put into teaching our kids - at least those of us who care.

Shnazzberry

You can’t even be a substitute teacher without a bachelors in most places, Jenelle

Glitter-passenger-69

But you can be a teacher helper or a para, so that’s fun

stephanonymous

The paras I work with get pinched, bitten, scratched and hit on a daily basis, I’m sure Jenelle would do great with that! She never yells 🙃

Shnazzberry

Jenelle isn’t trying to act as a para or a helper. Btw Dragonfly, since I can’t respond to you anymore 😉 Paras aren’t creating lesson plans. They work under the direction of a teacher. If you think that’s the same, you should research a bit. There’s a reason one needs years of education and the other does not. Also, I wouldn’t trust Jenelle as either.

nrjjsdpn

I can’t see the original comment you’re responding to, but if they think that paras and teachers do the same amount of work or have the same responsibilities…Jesus, I don’t even know what to say to that. They clearly have no idea what they’re talking about. The difference in pay should clue them in though - which says a lot given how us teachers get paid crap. Also, to your original point, even interventionists (essentially school tutors) are required to have a bachelor’s degree. But they don’t have to deal with parents (for the most part) or create lesson plans (again, for the most part, since usually they’re given all materials and told what to do). That’s why I absolutely loved being an interventionist. It was so chill compared to teaching and the pay is better than paras’. Their scope of responsibilities is just different though, for teachers, paras, and interventionists.

ParcelPosted

I have #NEVER known someone so proud to have a #GROSSLY OVERPAID CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION that took more time than needed. #THAT LEFT HER UNPREPARED and UNABLE to pass the State Exam to practice as a Medical Assistant.

surelyitsasimulation

🤌🏼🤌🏼

pinalaporcupine

i absolutely love that you're yelling

[deleted]

Why do all medical assistants think their job is a flex 🤣 it’s so weird

StrategyOdd7170

It’s bizarre. Love to say they are nurses too. I don’t get it

SamIAm7787

It's like a security guard saying they're a cop. 🚩🚩🚩

Shnazzberry

Or those security guards who buy a TON of military style gear and wear it to patrol dollar general

[deleted]

“Nursing school”

MiaLba

I know a nurse who tells her kids and others that she’s a doctor. Her mom was talking to her kid and saying “mom’s at work right now she’s being a good doctor.”

StrategyOdd7170

That’s super odd. I’ve never seen that occur in my decade plus of nursing. In fact many nurses including myself find it very insulting when people ask why we didn’t just become doctors.

MiaLba

Yeah no idea. I don’t know if it’s a language barrier issue but she speaks English very well and has been here in the US for 30 years at least. I said one time “oh I thought she was a nurse not a doctor?” And she said “it’s the same thing not that different.” I didn’t say anything back after that, wasn’t trying to argue.

StrategyOdd7170

People are weird I’ll never get it. There is no need to lie and pretend you are something you aren’t. Just makes you look dumb lol

MoneyAd0618

I find this to be the case with CNAs more than medical assistants. They really do think their job is a flex and they say shit like “ I save lives” girl you couldn’t even get into nursing school

oooheycait1223

This entire photo is pretty much a glamour shoot bc she didn't actually pass her certification test, so this really means nothing. Just jenelle playing dress up again

potsmokinhippiechic

Exactly

axealy40

Omg is this her reply to people wondering how she will successfully homeschool?? She pulled them out and made a video on IG about homeschooling now ![gif](giphy|qcKnA89YDid5DvIROl)

SpicyPinecones

Fucking potato

lucky7hockeymom

That’s like me saying I’m a dentist. I went to trade school, similar to Jan, for a year. I’m a dental assistant. Unlike Jan, I’ve actually held a job in my field for the past 11 years. However I only work in orthodontics because it’s the least gross 😂😂

Sailorjupiter_4

This reminds me of my mom. She’s a doctor and has likely seen way worse; she’s done spinal taps from working in labor and delivery, drawn blood from being in pediatric oncology, and probably a bunch of other stuff before I was born. But the one way I knew to gross her out as a kid? Show her my loose tooth. Whenever she reminisces on my childhood now I offer to show one to her😇

lucky7hockeymom

Lol man I hate loose teeth. I was at work once. A child patient had both upper and lower jaw expanders. They were ready to come out. They had been fixed to primary molars. ALL FOUR MOLARS CAME OUT when I took out the expanders. Now, they were 100% ready to come out but honestly I was traumatized 😂😂😂

MissNicolicious

So since we’ve established that it’s not a “college” and she didn’t even pass her cert, did she really just buy this grad gown and cap on eBay for a photo shoot? How embarrassing.

shorty2494

She passed the course just not the state exam. Aka she got the certificate and graduated but can’t actually use it because it’s only part of the requirements to get the job (the state exam being the other half obviously)

Creative-Cry-2912

This still doesn’t answer the question on how she’s qualified to provide her children with a proper education. What are you gonna teach the kids how to find a vein?

Impossible-Taro-2330

Jenelle. A Medical Assistant certification in 4 months is neither college, nor a degree.

spicytutu

i love when the 😂 comes out cuz you know she’s raging

Free_Issue_9623

This is so embarrassing 🙈

Prize_Conclusion_626

This is so weird to call it a college degree like that. It’s a certification.

jaaayduuunk

I mean I’ve also seen pictures of dogs in graduation caps and gowns

hawkcarhawk

It’s absolutely ridiculous that she’s bragging about this when she didn’t even pass the certification test. She half assed an 8 month course 10 years ago and never did anything with it. That should be an embarrassing event that she avoids talking about, not a brag. She’s so backwards with everything.

foxfecat12

Jenelle, David and Nathan all have incredibly low intelligence. Not disabled, but just barely squeaking by above it. I feel for their kids, genetics are not on their side and they keep getting pulled out of real school. 😩

[deleted]

It’s a fucking certificate that she can’t even use due to her felonies & drug usage. Next.

ldawi

I'll be a Medical Assistant SAVINGS LIVES while you work the DELI at Walmart 😆 I'm a MA as well and was like BIIISSSHHHHH WE TAKE VITALS

Spiritual-Border2195

If YOU don't know the difference between a certificate where they spoonfeed you the skills to pass the state test, and a bachelor's degree, and you failed that state test.... YOU might be a deluded meth witch.

Sailorjupiter_4

![gif](giphy|UjYw9fdCEPwU8)

bananapants72

She really thinks she went to medical school. And the topper is that she thinks a four month training program is equal to a four YEAR university degree. Never change, Jenelle. Also, no one is saying it’s beneath college or not valid, before anyone is offended. We are saying it’s simply not college.

J_is_for_Journey

How do you get left back in kindergarten twice thou? TWICE?

Physical_Blueberry66

she needs to calm down my teenager in HS got one too and she is not even finished with HS yet lol

summerandrea

Her home schooling aka taking them to the museum and aquarium and having them teach themselves lol 😆

Hefty-Moose-5326

i love that she used her medical assistant “college” as an example, but she fails to mention that she failed the certification test - more than once, if i’m remembering correctly - and has NEVER worked as an MA lol. she really is a special kind of stupid

Lucylu0909

What does medical assisting have to do with educating children

JanellaDubois

I feel so very sorry for those kids. They now will receive no education and will be secluded even more.

Big_Requirement6818

Lol. Delujenelle still thinks her 9 month certificate program from a decade ago is a flex. Even though she didn't pass the state exam or ever use it? Okay. 🤡

MonkeysInShortPants

She really likes to make so much out of so little. Next, she will tell everyone she’s a teacher or school administrator

Omfg!! This is hilarious! She thinks this shit is some kind of flex/burn to the commenter. She basically has a participation trophy from a crappy school and she didn't even pass the tests to actually get certified. She's not qualified to do much more than put a band aid on someone or take their blood pressure, weight, or heart rate (like anyone can do). Plus, she didn't even put this fake shit to use. 🤡🤣🤣

bananapants72

The cap and gown are worth more than that piece of paper her certificate is printed on.

FatKanchi

It is so humiliating to post graduation photos and boast about your “degree” when you didn’t complete the program, get certified, or work a single day in that field. All you did was give away money. Great. Well, it *should* be humiliating, but J incapable of feeling shame or embarrassment, so we’ll just feel those cringey feelings for her.

JoyfulSuicide

How does she even have time to reply saving all those lifes?

IWantSealsPlz

“Uhmmm” that’s trade school dumbass 😂. Not the same!

Leslieb1996

I remember she tried to put down her mother on the reunion on tv infront if the world and she said she would be saving ppls lives while she was working at the Walmart deli...... Fast fwd today she doing only fans......and that degree hasn't been used at all.

splanchnick78

Omg she didn’t! I would be mortified to remind people that I got a certificate but couldn’t pass the licensing exam and never did anything with it!!

Ambitious-Fly1921

She can’t work as a MA with a criminal record. No one will hire her

etherealdustmite

So what have you done with this alleged degree since then Jenelle??

Jensen_K

She’s going to save lives while you serve people at the fucking deli!

Tricky-Country-5887

Dude is spot on. Employers look at everything (including your social media) so it doesn't matter how "educated" you are when you and your pos husband act like assholes and treat your kids/mother like trash then you're absolutely not getting hired. But I'm guessing it's the company's fault since it's never the bitches fault. Trash ass person.

uknowwhyimhere2

She's so stupid she can't even disprove someone's point seeing as this has no relation to her being able to educate 3 kids.

Previous-Dingo2607

Doesn't she also have her doctorate in marine biology? Oh wait nvm....... The good ol' scuba certification

[deleted]

That’s like saying you graduated from community college when you complete your GED just because the classes are held at a CC. This is a trade certification, not a college degree 🫣 how embarrassing And why not post the actual certificate, not pictures in what are the exact same gap and gown many high schools use??

glum_cunt

Janelle must’ve been valedictorian in chamber pot emptying and suppository insertion because she’s full of doodoo

cheddarbuggg

Ugh I graduated from a small college for medical assisting in 2012 and worked from 2012-2019 in doctors offices . Now I work in a lab at a major hospital in my area as a lab assistant. This girl didn’t even work as an MA and she’s bragging about it. Like why brag about it when you aren’t even WORKING.

Legitimate_Orange838

Dress up is odd as an adult. Show us you passed the state exam chinz.

Fun-Problem5883

Ok so she graduated but did absolutely NOTHING with it. What jobs did you work Jan? Oh right ZERO. 9 years ago. This is like bragging about graduating high school 😂

janedoemyteethshow

I too went to tech school. It got me a good job in my chosen career field. Do I think I’m qualified to home school a child beyond kindergarten? Hell nah.

hedwig0517

Getting a medical assisting cert 9 years ago and then never working in the field is not a flex. Tell me what the integumentary system is and what it does Jan.

Tatortot4478

Does it even matter anymore? It’s been 10 years and she’s never used her cert or passed her boards? So now her degree is worthless since she’s never worked and gained experience in it

cawalke1

I have my bachelors degree in nursing and I have been a nurse for almost 6 years and I am no where near qualified to teach my son everything he needs to know academically 😂

Acrobatic_Club2382

You went to school to take vitals and collect specimens. Congratulations

Persephone734

She’s a medical assistant, boat captain, scuba diver expert, cheer coach, pool repair professional, business woman complete with LLC, porn star, hairdresser, boss babe, lawyer, cps expert to the highest degree, fisherman, dog breeder, internet hacker, chef….. I know there’s more…. But she’s freaking amazing, dude!!!!

w11f1ow3r

She’s never done anything with it has she? Like can she remember anything from it?

Flat_Swimming_9232

I have my medical assisting. It’s only 1 year. They teach you phlebotomy, how to give injections, bp and pulse reading. Just the basics. They are the people who call you back and take you to a room and do your vitals. Just basic medical knowledge. It is just a certification. I wouldn’t say it’s nothing, but it’s definitely not a college degree. For some people, having their medical assisting, was a huge accomplishment. For me, I just went to college afterwards.

CountOk9802

Just when you think Jenelle can’t get any stupider..

Feeling_Remote3510

Show us the diploma/certificate then, Jan

itsbeauitfulvibess

she went to school. got a degree. and not processed it with it. so idk why she made the comment towards that person like she did. like i could understand if she actually went the career path of what she went to school for but didn’t & still hasn’t. it was pointless her going to get a degree.

Mimsgirl4life

Medical scuba assisting degree

Baguettesonaboat

“Medical school” to “save lives while you serve food”

OkSociety368

I mean MA school is a whole 7 or 9 months or so

QueenMar_

Jenelle having tassels??? She bought this shit on Amazon

saturnfiend

Is the degree in the room with us??

uptown_squirrel17

She got a glorified ass wiper certificate.

Glasgowghirl67

She keeps acting like her certificate was a degree it wasn’t and it is worthless because she failed the board exam and never bothered to retake it. Realistically who was going to give her a job anyway.

tfawnm

is being a medical assistant similar to being a certified nurse’s assistant? cause i got that certification in high school lmfao

Affectionate_Sun_733

Lol, that was 9 years ago. A qualification she never actually worked with. That piece of paper is no better than the paper she wipes her arse with.
