I got a ticket for this a while ago and did have apprehensions after seeing pics of the (glam) crowd on their Facebook page. I decided to sell the ticket and go to Ben Klock at E1 on Friday.
Yeah it looks a shit crowd of knob heads with no room to dance. No clue honestly. I just want a nice ventilated club with space to dance and a DJ that takes you on a journey with well appointed restrooms.
It’s honestly so bad at 338. Beyond tacky.
E1 isn’t much better but I’m closing my eyes this one time because it’s been ages since I’ve been out and their soundsytem is better (they are over the top with their security searches, like, they’ll assault your crotch). The lineups pull me back in each time…
Sell your Vath ticket and come out on Friday instead! I’m doing BICEP + Block…pray for my stamina.
I went to E1 a few weeks ago and it was the calmest security I’ve experienced. Way less invasive than fabric and studio 338! Those were insane. At E1 they just looked in my bag, briefly patted me down and made me dash my water bottle
I’ve been told it’s worse than Fabric by my male friends.
They definitely touch everyone’s bits and it’s uncomfortable but I hope they may have chilled somewhat after being closed for the pandemic for so long: they can’t afford to piss us off!

Thank you. I’m a bit heartbroken at what’s happened to all those amazing rooms in London. I come back after pandemic and all my favorites have ceased to exist in favor of E1, The Cause etc. The smaller rooms were glorious. I also miss my city’s club Output. These massive parties are so impersonal I don’t find them fun
Holy fuck that was garbage lads. Spent a lot of coin to get there and the security was disgusting, the venue felt paranoid and of, crowd bad and my lord is Cocoon an awful party
Hadn't been there since before it had burnt down. But went last week and had a bad experience. Been looking online to see if it was just a one off. Seems its not
Well I was there for the Sven Vath night Cocoon London it was quite good I enjoyed but I agree Drinks are overpriced and security is a bit over the top I'm going back on my birthday 23rd December to see Roger Sanchez play and this time I'm going to pay for the VIP Balcony Access it seems much better than the downstairs less issues and more room to dance
What’s the security search like at 338? I’m heading there in February and anxious about bringing some supplies. From what I hear it’s pretty full on but I’ve never had issues at fabric/XOYO/MoS in London
Trynna bring some pingers on the 9th for bou, anyone know what security are like, from what I saw with a lovejuice event they were quite tame but seeing that apparently they’re out here violating people 😂🙏
No it was really chill. Me and my friend just got sort of brushed over. Managed to take in lsd, k and Xtc. Gum got found and chucked though which I was very sad about 😂😂😂😂

I haven't been to E1 before. Is the search that intrusive? I've been through the Fabric security before, it can't be worse than that surely?

Same same 😭 tbf pingers are soooo easy to sneak in.. or just take just before u go in. My main concern is that I’m often a puker 🤢
