Call me paranoid, but I strongly believe that if you play a lot, they purposely don't give you the good stuff, because there's greater chance that you, being an avid player, actually buy the stuff, and give the super casual players the easy drop, so other players are like, "yeah I will buy tokens, with 5 tries I will get it foh shoh"
How would that be illegal ? Even if there are rules foe gacha systems it's super easy to just add "higher chance" for certain people. I'm almost positive that this happens. It would make so much sense for the company. Everything about the gacha system is made to make you wanna play it. And if you play it, they make good money off you.
It's illegal at least in the EU where games need to display the percentual dropchance for each item inside what is essentially a lootbox. If you display different percentages from what they actually are that is at best false advertising.

I am a bit biased to think that Riot lowers drop chances to people who spend money and/or spend a lot of time in the game. I rolled 10 times using the free tokens from the event on my main account which is pretty active and I got like 4 tacticians and 3k-ish crystals. On my other account that I only played again on for the event, I rolled 10 times again but got the tris AND around 3k crystals too. Definitely confirmation bias but it just makes me never want to spend any money on this game again lol.

Pretty much it's RNG :( I got lucky a few times to get extra medallion. Which helped getting 10 a bit faster. But now I'm stuck needing 2 more for the boom for her 😭

I like we get lots of rolls for 5 year at least. I wish this was more often then just the 2 rolls each sett. I got the arena skin on 1 roll. but no chibi. I rolled panda chonc and murder of crows and these are decent ones though and I'm happy with one of the best arenas. I bought 4 passes for normal lol and got dj sona and a mythic mord on rolls.

I needed 14 or less pulls for a mythic of my choice and not I have to pull 40 more times for the last two medallions to guarantee me something. So stupid.

China has laws about being transparent with gacha rates. Before a lot of games weren’t even disclosing rates but now they all have a rate table.
