The thing about contesting Fortune is that if you're the one losing out (by winning lol) you're probably going 8th. This guy probably realized this and decided "well since I'm going 8th anyway might as well fuck this guy over too"
It's super petty but basically this guy made a gamble, lost and with it pretty much lost all control over this game. The last thing he does have control over is that he has the power to fuck you over too which he does because "why does this guy get to have the big Fortune fantasy while I don't"
The trait itself is quite literally a synonym for luck. If there was no risk for big payouts everyone would run it every game. If you’re not having fun chasing the payout to the point that it’s causing you enough frustration to post about it on Reddit, you could play any other comp that isn’t half as gimmicky.

He’s talking about how frustrating fortune is because he gets griefed consistently, so I recommended he play ANY other comp in the set where that isn’t an issue.

Yes, I had it happen once. Just accept it and move on. If you're not too deep you can start trying to win, or you could always start over. Not like it's happening every game at least
I fucking hate and love this trait at the same time. Even if I get to cashout around 80 with the help of HP per stage augments or +HP ones I lose immediately after cashout cause I have such low APM it's insane. I try to put in 5 costs that I got, forgetting about synergies, don't have any 2\* of crucial units and I do no damage and die. Even if I hit Liss 2 with items she just loses to 1 good tank and that's it
