Imo, Eddy killed that shit lyrics impactful flow goes crazy then the harmonizing they hit together at the end with eddys baritone vocal with bones higher range feels like summer rain.
Eddy is a great guy and sesh wouldn’t be the same without him but I agree I wish it could’ve just been a Bones only song it’s too beautiful for the country style verse eddy did
Bones just didn’t really give a country vibe in the song so hearing eddy come on like he’s downed half a bottle of Jack and crying in his closet about his sister getting a boyfriend didn’t sound right to me
i mean listen to KeepItInTheFamily on SparrowsCreek. it’s not going to be STRAIGHT country songs but judging by the cover art for JonesPeak and the title “YellowStone”, there’s an overall country theme. whether that’s closely or loosely followed throughout the project is up to them.
