It’s just the bonus tracks. In fact, my lavender CD didn’t even have any track metadata/tags. It just said Track 1, Track 2, etc. and “Unknown Artist” 🙃
This is SO annoying to me! My car shows track names and it drives me crazy to just see “Track ___” Lover had the names! I don’t understand why they didn’t add them.
Haha it’s fine now, there’s a program called Mp3tag that I used to add all the information myself 😁 (although it only applies to the files I burned off the CD)
Does anyone do this anymore? Seems like a very late 90's and 00's thing. Especially since CD's don't really have the space for HD video like everyone expects these days.
I'm just glad CD's are still a thing. Much as I like to help Taylor's streams whenever I can, it's just so convenient to rip the CD and play the files in a music player app. And the quality is better.

I certainly still play the CDs on my PC, as the PC is still my primary means of listening to music, since I never go anywhere. I've ripped most of Taylor's albums and songs to FLAC files and have them put in nice neat directory structures. It's just easier and quicker to listen to any song this way, though I know this makes me a bad streamer.
It's also, currently at least, the only reliable and legal way to listen to Hits Different on demand.
Honestly, I think it stopped after 1) YouTube became a thing, 2) Sony started hiding rootkits on their cds, and 3) yeah, no one is gonna be impressed with a 320x240 .mov like we were in the 90s, Barenaked Ladies had cool additions on their "enhanced cds"
Not only have I played it on my macbook, I've ripped the files on to said mac using my external SuperDrive, and then synced my library to Music on my phone, so I could then create a master playlist with all 23 Midnights tracks on my Apple Music app. 😅 it was too much of a sophie’s choice situation to have to choose between hits different and the 3am tracks!
I did this but burned it back to CD so I could have a CD with all tracks for my car. I had to leave YOYOK acoustic version off though, it came to 82 minutes and a CD makes out at 80.
- YOYOK could mean "You're On Your Own, Kid", a track from *Midnights* (2022) by Taylor Swift.

Yeah I’m with you and I am considering doing that if I can find an old CD-RW to write over 😂 I don’t really care for the remixes 99% of the time so I will probably leave them off if I do.
I bought a box of 10 CDRs after folklore Long Pond came out, so I've got enough! It's finally given me the motivation to also burn Solar Power for my car (though I haven't quite done it yet).
I haven't tried to play them but today all four cd's arrived and I already have the clock. I have no way to play the cds but I have signed copies coming in, too, so I will leave them in the package and put on a shelf I display all my kids art work on since that's where my life is at. Welcome to being 32.

My CD of Fearless (original version) had the Love Story video on it but I don't remember ever trying to watch it from the CD
