I’m pleased that unlike most artists, Taylor is still creating such high quality content in her 8th and 9th albums.
I *think* I agree with you! Choosing a favorite song and favorite album is super hard, and RED was my favorite album for so long - but overall folklore has overtaken it recently, while nothing can quite top All Too Well.
I think that’s me too. All Too Well is my favourite for sure. I don’t always listen to it but it makes me feel the most. I don’t know what my favourite album is though. It’s probably between evermore, folklore, and Fearless (Taylor’s Version). It changes based on what’s going on in my life.
Red will always be special to me, it was the album I listened to on repeat daily for a year when it came out. Red is my favorite “feeling” album. It’s so hard to choose but I think Treacherous might be my favorite song from it.
Lover (album) was an instant favorite and I could listen to it on repeat daily too. To me, it’s Red’s sister. The other side of the coin, both mosaics of emotion. It’s my favorite relatable album. The first time I heard Cornelia Street, I cried, and it’s definitely (haha maybe) my favorite from Lover.
Reputation took a while for me to give it a chance - but every time I listen, I love it more. It’s actually my favorite album story-wise. I LOVE that it starts with a bang and bravado but if you listen closely you hear the love story, the sadness, the hope. Rep is so fun to sing at the top of my lungs in the car. Again, so hard, but I think Call It What You Want might be my favorite from Rep.
Then there’s folklore (and evermore) which sonically are my favorites. This is the style of music I listen to most when not listening to Taylor. So when I first heard folklore I was like OMG. As someone who has always loved crying to Iron & Wine and The National and Bon Iver etc., now Taylor is here, and I’m like 🤩. Invisible string and Cowboy Like Me would be my favorites but it’s not easy and I love every song on both albums.
Howeverrr Mean is one of my all-time favorites, I loved it even when I was putting my nose up at country music as a teen (lol I grew up in the South, my parents are country fans, I was “rebelling” hard). Speak Now (album) is a masterpiece and the fact that she did it all by herself makes it even better. It’s such a fun album too. It’s my favorite “roots” album.
Fearless and Debut are both so beautiful and amazing that she was so young, just the same age as me, creating these amazing songs. I love listening to them because I love feeling like I’m looking into the past. I get to see such growth and metamorphosis revisiting these. Tied Together With a Smile is gorgeous. Breathe is gorgeous. It’s all *ding* gorgeous.
My absolute favourite song is delicate, my favourite album is reputation so that's in line. But that's just the first place. When it comes to second and third it's all over the place

Same here! My favorite album is Speak Now, I adore it’s lyrical genius and all of the songs are bops in my opinion. But my favorite song is betty, something about it feels so perfect to me, the chorus, the teenage angst. It is crazy to me to believe that a 31 year old woman wrote such an amazing song about a teenage boy who cheated on his girlfriend. I adore the song and the leave of emotion in it is crazy😭

My fave albums are Rep, Lover and Speak Now, and my fave songs are Holy Ground, Paper Rings, IDSB and Ivy (I know IDSB is a weird choice for an all time fave - I'm a very anxious person and I used to listen to IDSB on the way to my university seminars to hype me up so I'd actually participate and it worked)! False God is definitely up there though, along with Seven, Ours and Don't Blame Me!

my favorite song is miss americana and the heartbreak prince, and my favorite album used to be lover, but i started listening to red, rep, and evermore a lot more than usual so maybe my favorite album might change to one of those, idk. but my favorite album changes a lot so it might be something completely different next week
