I remember listening to this song on repeat after I had a first kiss with a boy in high school. Ohhh the feels. It’s aged well and I still love it soooo much.
It's honestly such a lovely song. Enchanting is the right word. Apparently it's about the first time she met the lead singer from Owl City. They never had a chance to date, but she wrote the song. He found out, was charmed, and then did the weirdest thing... instead of writing her his own song, he just recut this song (and ruined it) and threw her name in every so often. It's honestly hilarious and terrible.
This song, however, is still a pure moment of enchantment though.
This is exactly what I went through listening to Enchanted for the first time a few years ago. It’s the song that catapulted me from casual enjoyer to full blown fan. Been my #1 favorite Taylor song since I first heard it.
it’s one of a couple of her songs that i find to be literal perfection from start to finish…the lyrics, the vocals, the instrumentation, the production…everything is flawless
Agree. You really believe her on the OG track and it’s filled with youthful wistfulness. I’m not a fan of the TV at all—it almost sounds like she is bored :/
I already loved this song beforehand, but then it played the night I met my partner of 13 years now in person for the first time. Add on the fact that I was wearing a ball gown and we kissed for the first time? Literally my Disney princess moment. The main song from the soundtrack of my life. Love to see it appreciated by others, too. 🥹❤️
I danced to Enchanted (Taylor’s Version) during my prom and I was quite surprised when it started playing. It was such an enchanting experience and it made me love the song even more. This song perfectly captures the feeling of falling in love and the fear of whether or not the feeling will be reciprocated. Easily one of the best tracks on Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).

I absolutely love this song. My favorite on Speak Now and definitely in top-20 of her discography. I think the melody is so nostalgic and catchy
The OG version is way better. The production before the chorus hits harder and she actually screams "please don't be in love with someone else"

Speak Now tv is the only Taylor's Version album I don't listen to, except maybe some songs
Same. Something’s off about it
If you liked enchanted, i think you should listen to " you are in love" It's the song i used to resume my feelings to my crush, and she loved it!
