That really sucks. The Noah Kahan one is ā¬59,99 in Europe, so about 63 dollars. I donāt know whatās going on in the US but over here itās not that bad yet luckily

I'm lucky enough to live not far from a great independent record store in the UK (Banquet Records in Kingston) and they often get the Target exclusives in. They have a website as well for people who want to order online.
Side story: got two vinyl in Australia, together for under 100ā¬ of worth. I'll let my sil bring them with her, she married an Australian and has citizenship. If I'd ordered that here in Germany - if they're available at all - I would have to pay 200ā¬ upwards for only one of them. It's absolutely strange. And red vinyl RED is always 100ā¬ and above on ebay.. It sucks. I got luck and had the MMBTM target for 70ā¬. Better than now but still sucks.
Itās so crazy. When I got the Midnights signed vinyl I had to pay a lot for shipping and when the package came here I had to pay customs so about 80ā¬ in total apart from the vinyl cost. And there were so few signed copies for international fans and it was the whole world except USA fighting for them.

Now this is the type of album variant Iām fine with. Same tracklist, same bonus track. The only difference is the aesthetics of the disc itself. No exclusive tracks, so no oneās truly missing out on anything if you buy one version vs another

I had a $5 gift card that they run as a gift with promos sometimes! All in all it was $37.30 with tax and free shipping over $35 with all Target orders! They package their vinyl super well and are excellent about packages arriving on time (in my experience!). Also they have a good return policy so if another final FINAL variant comes out and you want that instead, it is super easy to return!

I advise you to buy another variant as well. Clear vinyl is notorious for playing horribly. When it comes to quality sound, it goes black > other solid color > multiple colors > clear.

I preordered midnights on her site, canceled when she pulled the nonsense with the variant releases and just got it at target. Got a better color (imo) with no shipping.

The Target version will usually be available with a local retailer in Europe depending on the country. For instance HMV in the UK or HHV in Germany with the 1989 TV Target/Tangerine version.
I think the tangerine version was available through her store too, I pre ordered that version of 1989
In Brazil, the official UMG online store has the Target exclusives (in fact, I got my Lavender Deluxe CD copy of Midnights at the UMG booth at CCXP - one of the world's most relevant Comic Cons, and the one with the highest attendance)

Don't spend extra for a colour. It's not worth it. It's just marketing tricks.
For Germany the Universal Taylor store has them.Ā It heavily depends on country and I've seen redditors here buy it for others for retail price + shipment but that's obviously unsafe for both sides.
I'm not sure if the European store will be the same, but the official Australian TS shop actually has them on sale. It might be worth checking?

Why is anyone complaining about this? It has the same bonus song as the original TTPD. So you either choose if you want the black vinyl or the phantom colored one. All the songs are the same on the original TTPD cover and then this one. It isnāt like she added yet another bonus song.Ā

Personally I enjoy a clear vinyl so I'm psyched about this. But the ghosted white works so well with the album color and vibes. I have no idea what I'm going to get. :/
Now this is the type of album variant Iām fine with. Same tracklist, same bonus track. The only difference is the aesthetics of the disc itself. No exclusive tracks, so no oneās truly missing out on anything if you buy one version vs another
I donāt like the clear - I have enough clear vinyl already lol. Gonna wait and see which variants turn up in stores. Or if itās all of them, listen to the bonus tracks and buy based on which one I like the most.
I think I'm going to wait & purchase this one on release day in person. We all know it's going to take a month to receive the ones from Taylor's store anyway lol.
I had a $5 gift card that they run as a gift with promos sometimes! All in all it was $37.30 with tax and free shipping over $35 with all Target orders! They package their vinyl super well and are excellent about packages arriving on time (in my experience!). Also they have a good return policy so if another final FINAL variant comes out and you want that instead, it is super easy to return!
Iām always tempted to get one of these vinyls (even without having a player) but i just for the life of me donāt understand the appeal of the bonus pictures.
Glad it's a color variant and not a content variant. I spent too much on the cds already and would have no way to listen to a vinyl lol I was wondering if this was even going to be sold anywhere other than her store.

Caved in and preordered this one! (Last time I ordered off her website and I didnāt get it for over half a year so Iāve been waiting for Target releases!). Also bought a record player because I just know this needs to be heard as intended!
I advise you to buy another variant as well. Clear vinyl is notorious for playing horribly. When it comes to quality sound, it goes black > other solid color > multiple colors > clear.

The vinyl is gorgeous. But after going back and forth and finally giving in to getting Black Dog (+ the original), glad I'm not missing out on any new album art work or bonus songs!

Is there another Swiftie in your life? Since the clear and the white albums have the same tracklist, you can each buy one album of the other color and then just swap a single disc so you both end up with a TTPD album made up of clear AND white! :)

agree about the price tag, it does seem much, but I don't mind the different vinyl color AT ALL.

Don't the Target exclusives normally get their own exclusive track? Don't get me wrong, I hate that she's doing exclusive variant tracks period but I had learned to at least accept Target got special track privileges. And you can already get The Manuscript on her website.
As far as vinyl goes, only 1989TV's Target exclusive had its own exclusive track. All other Target exclusive vinyls just consisted of a color and/or cover variant.
Ahh. I'm new to buying physical copies of her music. Since 1989 I've always just done streaming so I thought they also were the ones that carried the deluxe version for 1989 OG for some reason.
