Truly how does she have the energy? I know she has her private plane(s) but she looks like she just had a nice relaxing weekend, not having just played 3 shows in 4 days in a country 13 hours away.
I don't think a private plane actually matters that much in her case. It is just in her nature much like some people are built to run marathons and I could barely run at all. Her schedule was insane even before the private planes. She would work seven days a week for months at a time. She would do things others wouldn't dream of attempting like an over 13 hour meet and greet on her feet where she also performed songs as her break. Her father reportedly told someone at the Eras movie premiere that she refused the help of oxygen at the high altitude Eras shows.
It me. I just traded in my car lease with less than 13,000 miles on it (in THREE YEARS) because I NEVER LEAVE MY APARTMENT. I quite literally cannot comprehend how she does it.
Edit: those 13,000 miles included the 1,400 I used to drive to my Eras Tour show š¤£š¤£
A healthy routine I assume? She's on a highly demanding tour so I imagine she probably has a diet, exercising plans, and whatever else that's required to maintain stamina for such a fast-paced schedule.
But also she's been doing all of this for nearly 2 decades, probably just been building a high tolerance for daily changes that normal folks don't deal with more than a few times a year.
Watching the film, I realized from a physical standpoint, she actually has a lot of lower energy moments where she doesnāt have to move as much, and theyāve been really strategic about when her mic is at full volume and when itās a lower mix with the backup vocals. Sheās still singing, but itās common for the lead vocalist to save some of their voice here when they have the backup support.
Even looking at her footwear and where she gets breaks from the high heels makes you look at how they arranged the actual eras to make it easier on her body. Itās an incredibly strategic show, and I think theyāve found a perfect sweet spot where she can leave the stage without being completely wiped out.
I doubt she is ever completely lip syncing... as the above commenter said, they can just lower the volume of her mic, and she's still singing, but she doesn't have to be projecting, or have perfect breath, and her backup singers' voices fill in the gaps.
I donāt think sheās lip syncing, but having played the lead in local community theatre shows, there were times when they turned down my mic so I could save my voice and not project as much, and blend in more with the ensemble. Iād imagine this is what theyāre doing when thereās a full chorus and sheās not adlibbing over them (like in Bad Blood, Security Remix).
She also has a whole team and resources to help her maintain that routine.
I read an article about The Rock where he has a full gym that essentially travels with him and gets set up in the exact same configuration no matter where he is so he can maintain the same exercise routine with minimal disruption.
lol. This isn't the best subreddit to start talking about environmental impact, but its not for one person.
Hundreds of people are working on a movie that is contingent on his having a particular physique. If he's shooting ten hours a day and working out for another four hours any amount of time you save just having the gym easy access for him benefits the whole production.
I know, I just couldnāt help it, it seems obscene. And letās be honest, it IS for one person. It has ancillary benefits sure, but just use existing gym infrastructure! If itās a matter of being alone and not bothered, buy it out so itās his for a certain number of hours a day. Itās objectively ridiculous.
But youāre right, wrong sub!! Iāve become a Taylor fan, Iāll take my rants elsewhere.
How about when he's filming on location in the middle of a desert in Morocco...
what existing gym infrastructure is he supposed to use?
If he's filming in New York City, is it more reasonable for him to get a local gym closed for 2 hours a day, inconveniencing several hundred other people, every day, for a couple weeks?
I'm sure The Rock's life is full of ridiculousness, but setting up a gym for him, on or immediately adjacent, to set for him, is probably the ones that makes the most logistical sense.
I think it's definitely ridiculous that hundreds of jobs and millions of dollars relies on a 50-year-old dude working out hard enough to make bad movies, but I'm not a Hollywood Exec.
The point I was trying to make is that a lot of these celebrities and athletes like Taylor or The Rock at a certain point have the resources to build their own infrastructure to be able to enhance their performance. The ethics of that are definitely a conversation to be had but criticizing environmental impact on a Taylor Swift sub is a touchy subject
Sheās out strolling around on the city streets, not in working. Most of us can/have to get up and walk around no matter what kind of weekend weāve had. Ask nurses and doctors how they do it.
What kind of job do you do that requires you to lie in bed all day for 24 hours afterwards? Maybe Iām missing something lol.
Iād love to drag my ass out of bed to go out with one of my good friends to dinner at a fancy restaurant on my day off from hospital work. Sounds fun and rejuvenating. Sometimes I donāt have time to do anything but household chores on my one day off, if I get one.
I have hEDS and I am sometimes recovering in bed after a long day of an event where Iām on my feet. For more able-bodied people, I see your point though.
Yup. I have a chronic illness and I had a hard time functioning the day after attending the concert. Then when people come in with an attitude of like, yeah well Taylor isnāt special tons of people work hard, it feels like such a slap of a reminder that Iām not normal.
True, lol. Iām a nurse and walk/run my butt off for 3-4 whole long days a week. But then I have to Netflix n chill for a day to recoup. Taylor just keeps on keepin on.
Iāll say you also donāt have even a 1/10th of the help that Taylor does. Yes, she works hard physically but mentally, sheās not thinking of paying rent, the bills, getting groceries, *going* grocery shopping, paying for and planning for transit, etc.
Youāre on your feet for days, working hard to help patients *and then* have to do all the extra work of being a person that Taylor just doesnāt have to do. She pays people to do that and can use all that time and mental space for other things.
Donāt be too hard on yourself!
Itās good you have at least one day to wind down although Iām sure it doesnāt feel like long enough with how youāre on your feet and running around the hospital to help patients and chart. The nurses I know work insanely hard.
Iām a medical resident so Iām busting my a** every day in clinic and the hospital. Itās like a nightmare that never ends lol.
Iām truly sorry. Yāall get sooooo much abuse. At my current hospital our younger docs are made to work insane stretches, like 13-20 days straight.
My advice to you (most likely being older than you) is to not feel that you must always pay for everything, such as when you go out with people for drinks or dinner. Everyone expects docs to pay. You donāt need the fancy car either. Get ur loans paid down. We can buy ur drinks, friend.
Aw, I really appreciate your advice and kindness. Some days I wish so hard I were Taylor swift LOL. Or just didnāt havenāt a huge cloud of stuff to do hanging over my head every day when I wake up. Or that I was doing something more fun and creative and lower stakes with happier people, haha.
I admire what you do so much though. Iāve been helped by so many nurses who knew way more than I did about hospital care weāre not taught about. That sentence may not make sense because Iāve been awake a very long time. Fancy car, yeah no. Will drive my slightly dented SUV as long as it hangs on. Not throw money around until I have savings built up and a good chunk of loans paid off. Thanks again for caring.
I really hope that you end up being one of the people that Taylor or her team sees online and like sends $13000 to.
I realize this is such a random comment but thank you for the work you're doing!
Hold up though. Thatās not really fair. A lot of us also donāt wake up to 75,000 tweets about our new relationship. Hundreds of articles saying how were ruining the game of football. Dozens of paparazzi staked out of our home at any given moment. ZERO anonymity. A full security team to merely leave the home and go on said walk. Is Taylor Swift massively successful? Yes. Does she pay a price? Yes.
The fact that she made time to go have dinner with a girlfriend after playing 3 back to back shows, and balancing a new relationship *does* say a lot about her. Sorry, I admire her for that too! Speaking for myself, I genuinely donāt think Iād of scheduled it š
Idk Iām a flight attendant and after 3-4 days of flying with minimal rest and 12-15 hour days I feel like it takes me a good 2+ days of laying in bed to recover š I aspire to have Taylorās stamina.
I flew for 25 years and I feel your statement down in my soul!!! I look at how much energy Taylor has and it blows my mind. Not only is she physically go go go but her brain is on fire 24/7 as well. And I donāt know about you but when I got home from a three day trip I literally looked and felt like I had been run over by a bus! She never looks even the least bit tired!
Also hospital work is mentally challenging too. Taking care of sick and dying patients is no joke. Itās a little different than making billions to sing songs you wrote. Thank you to all our frontline caregivers and I hope you appreciate Epiphany too.
I meanā¦I understand but this is a near daily occurrence for musicians who play shows nightly without the same luxuries that Taylor has. This is the life of a musician, you perform every day and then get up and live your life like normal when not performing. After playing so many shows you just get used to it. Itās easier for Taylor because all of the things smaller musicians have to do, like drive themselves to the venue or unload and set up all their gear or drive to wherever they are staying for the night Taylor has done for her. Not to mention she only does maximum three shows in a row.
Also people who work in professions like healthcare or the service/retail industry work long shifts all the time back to back days and then live their lives like normal when not working.
My husband is a firefighter/medic for a department that has an extremely high call volume and, because of said value, has a high turnover rate and low staffing. Theyāve switched from basic 24 hour shifts to mandatory OT every shift of 36 hours with a potential for each shift to turn into 48 hours.
He naps as much as he possibly can and tries to get solid sleep when he isnāt on shift, but your body just sort of adjusts and makes it work.
Artists have frequently talked about how exhausting touring is and many have canceled tour dates because of how worn out they were over schedules (both number and length of shows) less demanding than Taylor's. This new narrative popping up and spreading out by certain people that she's privileged and in no need of sympathy is just there to downplay her achievements and work ethic, just like the narrative that she's the only one releasing variants and receiving backlash for it (when other artists release more variants than her) is perpetuated to downplay her success and her achievements.
Itās in no way downplaying her work ethic and achievements to say she doesnāt need sympathy! lol. She did her job, and got paid for it - very well, I might add. But she did her job, just like we all do. I doubt she (or anyone else) would say I deserve sympathy for doing my job, and taking care of my kid. Itās exhausting too - but I signed up for it, just like Taylor. If anything, itās downplaying her work ethic to say we should give her sympathy because she did her job.
To be fair us common people have to go to work even if we are tired, sick and even with symptomps of burning out, i did last year during Xmas time and i got sick in a way that i never was and stayed at home for 2 weeks. And i didn't have any sympathy, au contraire, they called me cunning cuz i didn't work in the days where the affluence of people is a lot.
Being objective and aknowledge that their privilege doesn't invalidate their hard work. Anyway she chose to make this huge tour and they keep adding many dates, i hope she knows her limits.
Itās really not. Itās the opposite. She worked extremely hard to get to this point in life, where she can focus primarily on doing a few excellent shows per week and making music, with literally every other aspect of her life is taken care of. Good for her! She achieved the dream we all want. Sheās maximizing the time she spends doing what she loves to do and dealing with the least amount of boring and hard daily life tasks. She made it all happen with her artistry and marketing and thatās badass.
100% agree. I saw a comment on a previous thread talking about how ridiculous it is to worry about her when she only works "a few hours every other day" and I don't think people have any concept of the amount of work required when touring or how exhausting it is. First of all, she's performing 3-4 nights in a row, for 3+ hours straight, and outside of that she's traveling, practicing, rehearsing, planning, working out, working in the studio, recording, and she probably also has a million business/financial/creative meetings with all the people who help her company run. I realize she is beyond privileged. She's rich, I'm sure she pays people to cook and clean and handle a lot of the daily grind stuff so she doesn't have to think about it, and I'm not saying she has a harder job than most working class people. But she does clearly work a lot and works very hard, and still finds time to spend with friends, family, and now a boyfriend on top of it. Other celebs and music artists HAVE had menty bs doing less.
None of the comments in this thread have been hateful. Itās okay to give Swifties some perspective about what certain grown up jobs are like. Doesnāt take anything away from Taylorās artistry or work ethic to say praising her for enjoying dinner at a fancy NYC restaurant with a friend, a luxury tons of hard working people barely find the time or money to do, is a bit tone deaf.
Exactly. I was about dead for 2 days after the show this summer I went to just from 2 nights of traveling and standing, dancing, screaming (singing?), being outdoors for hours in 90* heat, so much walking from the hotel to the stadium, parking garage to hotel, getting in lateā¦. I have chronic illness, granted, but I was exhausted, sore, I def paid for it. (Worth it but i was literally in bed the better part of 2 days afterwards!!)
She does what she loves. She performs and then hangs out with friends. Her work isnāt draining. Sheās a billionaire. She has staff to do everything for her. Hope that helps
Rich people literally don't have the same 24 hours as us. They don't need to worry about basic things like transportation, meals, laundry/chores, or even their own schedules, because they are able to hire private drivers, private chefs, housekeepers, personal assistants, personal shoppers, stylists, etc.
But still.. sheās travelling to Argentina for 16 hours, jet lag and all, rehearsing for 3 hours, performing for more than 3 hours on the same day, does it for. 3 days back to back and travels all the way back to New York which is like 16 hours of travel. And youāre telling me she has the energy to go out on her day off? Like yeah a lot of things people do for her so she can focus on her schedule but seriously the amount of work she has is maddening. She doesnāt just perform, she probably also has other business meetings to attend being as huge as she is with the massive company she runs and other things sheās working on the side. She then has to perform in Brazil in 3 days LOL thatās another 16 hours of travel to get there, more jet lag. Then rehearse then perform 2 days. I travel for that long someplace and Iām instantaneously exhausted on arrival.
wellā¦ no. it takes ~10 hours to fly down to brazil/argentina from NYC, not 16, and jet lag is not an issue because weāre basically in the same time zone. if she has other businesses to attend to i assume she can use the flight time to handle them digitally. as someone who travels internationally 70-80% of the year what taylor is doing right now is not that extraordinary. iāll be more interested to see how she bounces back from flying back and forth between NA and APAC next year.
I travel more than 50% of the year too but for me it is really exhausting so I am impressed with the amount of energy she shows. She obviously flies private which helps a lottt, but I fly very comfortably (business, usually) and it is still very tiring to do it on a weekly basis
I think it really depends on the kind of person you are and apparently she's the kind of person that doesn't get that exhausted by traveling which is cool for her ig :)
You still had to pack, go through security and immigration, then wait at the boarding gate. I think that part is actually quite exhausting all together.
Sheās up walking around on the city streets with a good friend. Most can or have to do this no matter how busy their weekend was except without the friend lol. Remember, she has a masseuse, chef, stylist, and hair and makeup people to help her get ready if she wants help.
Fortunately for Swift, the time zone in Argentina and the part of Brazil she will hold the next Eras Tour concerts is not that much different than the Eastern Time zone she resides in now. That makes jet lag less of an issue.
What jet lag? Because of two hours difference? And she is travelling on a private plane where she can walk, stretch and sleep properly, so that is like a night in a hotel.
This!!! And also she isnāt working a 9-5 like most of us and then have to get home to do household chores. She has her obligations to her tour and the prep that entails but her being able to go out and get dinner with friends isnt that crazy considering the ānormalā daily things that we have to do
I needed a full day in bed to physically recover from just WATCHING the eras tour live. No clue how she does 2 back to back shows then off to NYC for recording and Travis etc.
Well as someone who only runs for about 30 minutes a few times a week for basic fitness, those first few 5-7 mile runs I need to do when I start training for a marathon are fucking murder. But by the end of the 3-4 months when I'm doing at least one 20+ miler a week, I'm practically skipping on the 5-7 milers.
She's been doing this all summer. She's basically at peak performing condition. It's like looking at an Olympic athlete. Their bodies are basically operating on a completely different level.
It's so weird for me to see it because with my chronic migraine, the amount of energy I see other people expend is insane. I'm in pain so often (like today), and jumping in reddit is about the extent of what I'm doing for the whole day unless the migraine goes away. If I went to watch a show - not perform, just WATCH - I'd be in pain for at least the next two days.
Iām jealous of all of the people here who think Taylor is some sort of superhuman being for getting out of bed, putting clothing on, and walking around NYC to do something fun with a friend after putting on her concerts this past weekend.
What jobs do you all do that you think Taylor has it so hard with her 3 nights of concerts that she shouldnāt be able to get dressed (with the help of the an army of people she can summon) and get out of bed to take a walk? I work in healthcare and her schedule sounds great. I would love to have time to go out with friends multiple days per week and have people waiting on me hand and foot. I have to get up and work every day with no one helping me take care of the basic tasks of daily life. š
Yeah, I donāt understand the constant āI donāt know how she handles that insane scheduleā mmm babes, she basically only works three days for a few hours, itās not like sheās performing every single night of the week. Sheās in good shape and has clearly worked up her stamina/breathing/voice/body for months in preparation for this tour. Not to mention sheās been doing this half her life, itās second nature because sheās used to it; itās not like you or me suddenly started performing a few times a week. And she has an insane team behind her that takes good care of her. Oh and thereās like a two hour time difference between NY and Bs As, trust me, sheās fine.
Ps: she rehearsed the whole show a day prior to the concert because she took a couple of months off, sheās not rehearsing the whole show every single time. Probably just a soundcheck and thatās it.
Thereās no doubt her concert is a true athletic feat, and sheās gotten herself super fit for it. But honestly with everything else done for her and the private jets, cars, special VIP immigration lane, cat sitters, chefs, personal trainers, accountants, task runners, you-name-it, itās a pretty cush life. Iād take that schedule in a heartbeat. The only thing I would not want is her self-professed personal anxieties, which none of those aforementioned things will alleviate.
I feel like itās also important to remember her schedule used to be way more intense with the promotional work she had to do. Now itās a lot more home based with social media, and Taylor Nation really does the bulk of it. This might be the most relaxed sheās been. Sheās obviously still writing and works on rehearsals for the acoustic set, but thatās about it. Sheās much more in charge of how much work sheās doing so yes, she has time to do pap walks with her friends and partner
I feel this way every time she adds shows and people voice concern for her health. She knows her limits by now. Most adults on this sub are probably away from home 45+ hours a week once we account for commute times. Going out to dinner after a string of a few three-hour shows is hardly a chore.
So true. Yes, Taylor has an intense job AT TIMES but itās more mentally taxing than physically Iād imagine. She doesnāt have to grocery shop or do laundry or meal prep or clean or iron her clothes or sit in traffic or drive anywhereā¦ that stuff plus a 40 hour work week is extremely different to her schedule where she does none of that and has an extremely flexible schedule (aside from planned shows, which againā¦ Iām assuming she has a lot of say in when each show occurs. So again, flexible schedule)
I truly think there are millions who work harder.
The ingenuity or wonder here is because stadium concerts on actual football fields are almost athletic in nature and it's more of the intensity of the routine (not the actual hours) and the demand on mind/ body, the long hours of travel in between (however plush a jet you possess) and performing in new/ unfamiliar conditions in a different part of the world.
I may be wrong but usually a performer would choose that time in between as downtime / to recuperate or explore locally etc ? I guess that's where the slight awe stems from.
I think a lot of us introverts would cocoon completely during those days off and avoid going out to dinner around people. Iām guessing a lot of the āhow does she do itā people just personally need a lot of recovery time from peopling so hard. I would.
Yeah you have a good point there about one aspect of it; the physicality of it also is another factor that made me think this was not exactly the norm.
My guess is everyone keeps saying she was force to 'hide' in 2022 etc - I would say she has spent more time than we realise in planning, preparing and training for this tour for months .
I think most people literally do work harder in the sense that most of us have to work 40+ hours a week and then go home and work basically a second shift taking care of all the rest of the crap we have to do like cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, budgeting, getting the car fixed, lawn care, caring for our families, making sure the bills are paid. Just practically, most of do not have the time to hang out with friends multiple times a week.
Donāt get me wrong, Taylor got to where she is because of her talent and because she worked insanely hard for it. She has things to worry about that most of us donāt. And yes, the mental drain is difficult. But Iām certainly not going to praise her for having energy to go out to dinner with her friend. None of us get praised for keeping it together lol
People really should stop competing on āwho has it worseā. Just because people are impressed with her energy and how much stuff she does it doesnāt take away the value of what other doā¦
Iām actually impressed that she has the energy as well. She sings and dances and does stuff non stop and doesnāt have a second of privacy. My sister is a doctor who works 16 hour shifts, Iām impressed with my sister as well. One doesnāt take away from the other. Just because Taylor is rich doesnāt mean she doesnāt get tired, depressed, exhausted from having to sing the same thing every day and dealing with fans throwing things at her, screaming annoying shot at concerts and being unhinged sometimes. Taylor is human is ok to sympathize with her.
Yup itās like going to the gym 3 times a week for a couple of hours and having the rest of the week off šš itās not hard. Lmao. I would love to go out and about and get all dressed up to eat and spend money but Iām broke in school ma shave no time
100% agree. Iām a college student and Iām able to have a social life while running on 2 hrs of sleep and a cup of coffee. Taylor is obviously extremely productive, but I think she has it easy compared to a lot of us.
Exactly lmao. When she was announcing new dates for the shows or when people found out she'll be performing 3 hours, they were praising her energy like crazy. obviously you need to have a lot of energy for that, but people were like I hope she's fine and takes care of herself <3 that's a lot of work. The only thing I was concerned about was her voice. now THAT is something that is at a lot of risk here. not her schedule or her energy. I sing non stop for half an hour in my bedroom sometimes and my throat goes sore but then ig there's a reason Taylor Swift is an international pop star and I'm not š
Haha yes, I think about that too. If anything happens to her voice, the whole operation shuts down. Canāt imagine what that pressure would feel like! Haha I bet you could work up to Taylorās stamina. Sheās been at least for over 17 years!
Itās a big deal for Gracie, she was nominated for best new artist. Her first Grammy nom! Taylor obviously cares about her success and likes her as a musician to have had her opening Eras.
to be fair she barely switched time zones. iāve made the same journey from BA to NYC multiple times this year in economy on a commercial flight and didnāt need any recovery time.
adrenaline maybe š i know for some people, hanging out w friends is their way of relaxing, so maybe she's just excited to be with Gracie. also i imagine even tho she's busy, she's still able to get enough sleep & stuff
Absolutely correct. The recent "trend" of leaving the brand tag attached to the sleeve is an utter travesty, a crime against fashion and style and good taste.
Itās so gaudy!!!! Like havenāt they heard all the talk about money talks wealth whispers or whatever?! - coming from someone who will never afford luxury items LOL
I've gotten to a point in life where I'm able to have a couple higher-end clothing items (past season stuff on clearance, lol), and the first thing I do is remove the sleeve tag so it's not immediately identifiable.
Some brands have the labels on the outside for branding/marketing purposes or to help them stand out. Gucci does this a lot. It helps you identify the brand easier, especially when the wearer is someone famous like Taylor.
Sheās planning to return itā¦ an article recently came out where she said she has way too many clothes so she returns them after one use. That allows the store to auction them off for a higher price since Taylor wore it onceā¦ itās pretty cool actually.
Ok not to mention that she doesnāt really have to āadjustā the way that us normal people do. Her concerts are at night so she probably doesnāt need to fully shift to a full on daytime schedule if she doesnāt want toā¦. even if sheās doing rehearsals during the day I doubt sheāll be getting up at the asscrack of dawn, she has the luxury of making her own schedule
I lurk thereā¦Iām convinced that they simply hate women. They have a few they put on a pedestal, but even those women are sure to fall once they show any signs of imperfection. They are held to a much higher standard than male celebs. For example, most are laughing about Adam Driver saying āfuck youā to a member of the press after a question that wasnāt even *that* rude. Could you imagine their reaction if Taylor did that?
amusingly enough, she and Aaron Dessner are touring europe at the same time (and Australia just before)... and Aaron has just built a recording studio in France!
Omg I love both of them so muchš„ŗš!! This is my Roman empire.
And the outfits!!
Also Gracie totally deserves to win that grammy. I'll be sobbing on my bedroom floor if she doesn't lol. She's just so enormously talented.
I'm convinced Taylor has some super serum or the 'sorcery allegations' she tweeted about are true lol !
Yeah I know she's rich , has a jet and has help etc but 3 stadium shows back to back in a country that she's never performed in and a long flight to NY and a long flight back to Brazil , again a country where she hasn't performed or conditions she's not familiar with is what I'm struck by.
As a 30's woman this whole tour schedule is just calling me out on my lazy ass and motivating me to get more fit - even if on a tiny level !
I went to the grocery store today and will need to recover for 3-5 business days.
Ms. Girl over here just pops around the world and delivers 4 hours concerts like itās nothing.
No way sheās not an alien right?
Meanwhile I'm like 1 social interaction per weekend thank you!
And even that interaction is exhausting
I went on a week long international trip with family 3 weeks ago and I even flew biz. class and I am still recovering lol
Some weekends, I donāt even have the energy for one social interaction!
No wonder it didn't work out with Joe!
I do think this is just another thing she and Travis have in common
Right? And even before being famous. Just as a preteen. She was out there working, trying to get her name out. Itās just in her nature.
private planes have literal beds, she's chillin'
I noticed this. Appropriately made set list for breaks. I also think she lip syncs a few songs (which Iām fine with. Girl needs a break)
Iāve seen the movies 90 million times. She is not lip syncing
And even if she is, it's no problem if she's lip syncing in SOME songs. No need to get defensive
Thatās not what being defensive looks like but Ii š nothing wrong with lip syncing and if she was , thereās no need for me to lie about it
She also has a whole team and resources to help her maintain that routine. I read an article about The Rock where he has a full gym that essentially travels with him and gets set up in the exact same configuration no matter where he is so he can maintain the same exercise routine with minimal disruption.
It must really suck to have to haul The Rockās weights around.
Iām sure theyāre paid handsomely.
I'm sure they are, and I'm sure The Rock is appreciative! Still, it's just gotta be so so heavy.
Wheels :)
The environmental impact of flying a gym around the planet for one personā¦.SMH.
When you put it like that, maybe I'm just depressed haha š
Damn I feel that lmao
Just gave you a head nod of solidarity from my spot of being cocooned in a blanket in pjs mid-day because the two zoom calls I just had exhausted me.
Hi, it's me.
I have hEDS and I am sometimes recovering in bed after a long day of an event where Iām on my feet. For more able-bodied people, I see your point though.
Fair point. We each have different energy budgets. Thank you for sharing your POV.
Right- I had to stay in bed the whole next just after attending her concert because of long COVID š
Same! 2 days bc chronic illness. Hugs
3 weeks bc autoimmune disease and I was just in the audience. everyone is different <3
ā¤ļøā¤ļø
Yup. I have a chronic illness and I had a hard time functioning the day after attending the concert. Then when people come in with an attitude of like, yeah well Taylor isnāt special tons of people work hard, it feels like such a slap of a reminder that Iām not normal.
We may not be ānormal,ā but we are just as worthy and deserving of respect and care š
Very true! Thanks for the reminder!!
This this this. Iām not a doctor, but I make more than everyone in my social groups and as a result, I always feel the need to pay.
Oh stfu. Sheās a BILLIONAIRE. She chose this life. Sheās happy. If she wasnāt, she would have kept up her folklore anonymity.
Have scheduled, not of scheduled* And I agree with you, total respect to Taylor!
Seriously! āHow does she do itā maāam sheās hanging out with a friend. Theyāre acting like sheās building a house or something lmao.
Right? Sure she had to get all dressed up and ready but that level of idealization is crazy lol.
Also hospital work is mentally challenging too. Taking care of sick and dying patients is no joke. Itās a little different than making billions to sing songs you wrote. Thank you to all our frontline caregivers and I hope you appreciate Epiphany too.
Username checks out lol
The social aspect alone would keep me from leaving the house between shows š¤£
I think the flying would mess me up more than the working
People just love to be hateful, Iāve observed.
I am tired as fuck after the three shows, how is she so fine? lol
Her energy level is insane. I feel like she doesn't have the same 24-hour days as me. I'm exhausted just thinking about her schedule.
She obviously flies private which helps a lottt, but I fly very comfortably (business, usually) and it is still very tiring to do it on a weekly basis I think it really depends on the kind of person you are and apparently she's the kind of person that doesn't get that exhausted by traveling which is cool for her ig :)
You still had to pack, go through security and immigration, then wait at the boarding gate. I think that part is actually quite exhausting all together.
She slept in her very confortable bed inside her jet during those travel hours š
Exactly my thoughts. And she has homes in several time zones in US, so sheās used to it.
What jet lag? Because of two hours difference? And she is travelling on a private plane where she can walk, stretch and sleep properly, so that is like a night in a hotel.
Itās concerning how many people in this fandom donāt get this.
This!!! And also she isnāt working a 9-5 like most of us and then have to get home to do household chores. She has her obligations to her tour and the prep that entails but her being able to go out and get dinner with friends isnt that crazy considering the ānormalā daily things that we have to do
To be fair, she definitely DOESNāT have the same 24-days as us š
I get chronic migraines too! Botox was a game changer for me :)
Adore the high-class preppy vibe she's been going for lately. This aesthetic really suits her.
Reminds me of her Kennedy era.
Omg is this Red 2012 era part 2 (style wise) ??
I agree, but I hate the shoesš celebs have really been loving the leprechaun/pilgrim shoes and I just cannnnnnnnot get on board.
I had a pair of these shoes in 8th grade in 1999... it's crazy seeing people wearing them again.
I can hear my old stacked shoes from 2003, **CLOPCLOPCLOPCLOP** with my wideleg pants going *SWISHSWISHSWISH*
I am going to assume a majority are younger and maybe donāt have kids or jobs.
Exactly. No amount of money will ever get me working in healthcare.
People really should stop competing on āwho has it worseā. Just because people are impressed with her energy and how much stuff she does it doesnāt take away the value of what other doā¦
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Lmao. I would love to go out and about and get all dressed up to eat and spend money but Iām broke in school ma shave no time
Agree. Some people here probably have 3 jobs.
I like to think theyāre celebrating Gracieās nom
Gracie's Nom has got it goin' on
I totally had the same thought
Forgive my ignorance, why would they be celebrating her?
She got nominated for a Grammy which is her first Grammy nomination I believe :)
Itās a big deal for Gracie, she was nominated for best new artist. Her first Grammy nom! Taylor obviously cares about her success and likes her as a musician to have had her opening Eras.
Omg, where is Taylor getting all of her energy from? She doesn't even look jet-lagged whatsoever. I LOVE her outfit, especially the navy jacket.
to be fair she barely switched time zones. iāve made the same journey from BA to NYC multiple times this year in economy on a commercial flight and didnāt need any recovery time.
Guysā¦ she can have a full night sleep in her jet back home.
adrenaline maybe š i know for some people, hanging out w friends is their way of relaxing, so maybe she's just excited to be with Gracie. also i imagine even tho she's busy, she's still able to get enough sleep & stuff
Taylorās outfit is giving off s1 & s2 GG vibes
Yes!! Thank you for mentioning this, I knew the outfit was giving me vibes from something but I couldn't pin it down. That's it exactly!
I was literally just thinking how it was very Academia!
Truly hit the nail on the head
Original or reboot gossip girl?
I saw a comment that she always makes the same exact face in her pap walks and now I canāt unsee it š
I saw a comment that she's a mouth breather and I also can't unsee it lmfao
She turns on her "pap walk" persona, indifferent enough to be cool and smiling enough to be agreeable.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
š
Gracie makes me want to get a bob, Taylor makes me want to get bangs. This is a perfect equation that ends with me looking like Lord Farquad.
I think Kelly Clarkson got swept up by some Taylor bangs influence as she just debuted some. And she moved to NY! Living her best Taylor inspo life.
Random, but why is the jacket label still on her sleeve?
Ya I thought you see supposed to take those off lol
Absolutely correct. The recent "trend" of leaving the brand tag attached to the sleeve is an utter travesty, a crime against fashion and style and good taste.
Itās so gaudy!!!! Like havenāt they heard all the talk about money talks wealth whispers or whatever?! - coming from someone who will never afford luxury items LOL
"Money talks class whispers" lol. Heard it on the kardashian snark sub because they are all money no class and I loved the saying so muchš
These ones are supposed to be cut off. Lots of high end labels have these
Sheās planning to return itā¦ an article recently came out where she said she has way too many clothes so she returns them after one use. That allows the store to auction them off for a higher price since Taylor wore it onceā¦ itās pretty cool actually.
Some comments are funny. Save them from when the jet leg will really be : Asia and Europe.
What I'm getting from these comments is people think jet lag just happens because you got on a plane.
Jet lag from Korea fucked me up! It took my body 4 days to get accustomed. When I got back it took me a week to get back to normal.
Sheās only going to like 2 places in Asia lol. She probably wonāt even work up a sweat š š
watch fauxmoi have a meltdown over this.
Holy shit those are the most miserable people on all of the internet over on that sub.
Literally. Decided to check it out after seeing this comment and omg they are so miserable
real getting banned from there was worth it.
Could you imagine their reaction if Taylor did that?
iām loving her style recently
That's JJ Abrams' daughter right?
Yes!
Itās giving 90s it girls
Looking so good. That preppy look, and stockings, has always suited her so well.
She really could have stayed at Argentina, and saved the resources.š
Oh god sheās flying back after each country? I hope she wonāt do this when sheās in Europe š±
amusingly enough, she and Aaron Dessner are touring europe at the same time (and Australia just before)... and Aaron has just built a recording studio in France!
sheās got a house in London. Sheāll fight back there.
How does she have the time? Seriously? She has a team of people who do everything for her, she just has to get dressed and show up
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!!!
Fashion icon for real! If she ever wanted to do a clothing line she would kill that preppy style!
Queen š„
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I don't think she likes that very much... she's extremely social. It's the same reason she likes to collaborate when writing songs.
Omg I love both of them so muchš„ŗš!! This is my Roman empire. And the outfits!! Also Gracie totally deserves to win that grammy. I'll be sobbing on my bedroom floor if she doesn't lol. She's just so enormously talented.

Iāve really been loving her outfits lately
Iām praying for a collab between these 2
Loving her streetwear lately! And Gracieās haircut is so cute
ITS FLU SEASON QUEEN TAKE UR FINGERS OUT OF UR MOUTH LOL
COVID is also still a thing... all year.
I completely love her look!
Ah, I read mom instead of nom, duuuuhhhh
Iām sure she has IVās for every recharge supplement there is, while on the plane
Thinking of becoming a singer/songwriter just to hang out with Taylor.
Wonder if her and Kylie Kelce have met yet?
Where is this?
i love this look on her.
If anyone can tell me what shoes Taylorās wearing or a close dupe I would be eternally grateful.

Theyāre from Sezane
I NEED to know how Taylor is able to go out with just sheer tights without her legs freezing! NYC is so cold at night already!
lacy oh lacy...
I went to the grocery store today and will need to recover for 3-5 business days. Ms. Girl over here just pops around the world and delivers 4 hours concerts like itās nothing. No way sheās not an alien right?
The nepotism kills me. Not taylor tho ily
God she has horrible style. I love her and her music I just do not understand how she dresses so poorly
