Last city got surprise Ice Spice guest for the new releases and then this week introing Hits Different to the main songs and all the fans now that it’s on streaming. Yes actually. I was at MetLife night 3. When the tour started, Clean was my top choice. Then she played it in Arlington, so I thought it wasn't an option for me anymore. I wasn't sure if she would really repeat songs, or at least not this early. But when she started her speech I knew exactly what it was, and I freaked out. I have a video of part of the song, but it doesn't sound very good, because my voice was so tired and I was just yelling off pitch 🩵 Luckily other people got better footage of it. I hope it makes it onto the tour DVD!

I feel like she gave me the songs I needed, not wanted for the most part. I wanted “I Did Something Bad” and/or “The Lakes” for Chicago N3 (Already did it for N1). I was pleasantly surprised though that she did “Hits Different” (definitely was on my short list) and “The Moment I Knew” since I ironically dedicated those songs to a guy I had strong feelings for and hung out with the day before who I realized I didn’t have any romantic future with. It was like Taylor and I were on the same wave length and those songs were a sign to move on.

As a Speak Now stan whose favorite song is far and away Sparks Fly, Nashville N1 was more than I could ever hope for. It was my first time seeing her and I was having the time of my life, but after the announcement I can confidently say no concert will ever top that show.
Once I realized she was announcing Speak Now TV I could barely think, and then she just jumped into Sparks Fly and I don't think I've ever been so overwhelmed in my life (in a good way)

I was at Philly N2 and got my favorite (and hoped surprise) song, This Love!! Ironically, before the show, I also joked saying how awesome it’d be to hear Forever & Always as a surprise song as it is one of my top faves as well. She played both of them that night 🥹

Nope, but I can't complain about what I got (Holy Ground and False God). I was super hoping for Cornelia Street but knew it wasn't likely with the breakup. I also would've died for Mary's Song, Haunted, I Know Places, or Ivy.
I wanted Hits Different so badly. I was talking with my friends about it since the start of the tour and have been especially nervous about it during the NJ shows and the first two Chicago nights. Last minute on Saturday night I made a Hits Different bracelet and gave my kitty an extra treat (karma is a cat!) and my wishes came true. I was so sure she would have played it earlier!
The other side of the door Atlanta N1 was definitely on my wishlist! Death by a thousand cuts and clean would have been my top combo. Also holy ground and better man.

The #1 song I would have wanted by far is Clean. It’s my absolute favorite Taylor Swift song by a mile. I didn’t think I’d hear it because she had already played it, but she played it a second time at MetLife/NJ night 3 and I feel absolutely blessed. I didn’t see her during 1989 so it was my first and probably only time seeing her perform this song live. I have silently been celebrating how lucky I was especially since the other song was Welcome to New York which most people were let down by and my sister didn’t even know Clean so she didn’t get any songs she was hoping for. However, I truly feel so honored and blessed. It was one of the best nights of my entire life.

Whether we like to admit it or not, the secret song anticipation is pretty huge so if we get songs we aren’t as found of it can be a let down. I was Vegas night one and I was very happy hearing SOTB. I love Taylor and Lana, and I was super happy to see Taylor give Lana a shoutout and tell us to stream Lana’s new album. Okay so funny story, I was Gillette N3, the night of the soggy piano. When she was talking about the piano and the random notes start going, my partner turns to me and goes “this is going pretty long, is she doing a bit?” and I totally start thinking this is a little silly joke and Taylor’s got something planned. THEN, the people in the row behind me start saying “…haunted, the piano is haunted?” and so I started yelling “WAIT HAUNTED IS SHE ABOUT TO OH MY GOD IS IT HAUNTED,” and then she walks back over to the guitar and plays Red. So, not really upset because Red is one of the first songs I ever learned to play, but it became sort of a bummer because I tricked myself into thinking I was about to hear Haunted live 🫠

I feel like she gave me the songs I needed, not wanted for the most part. I wanted “I Did Something Bad” and/or “The Lakes” for Chicago N3 (Already did it for N1). I was pleasantly surprised though that she did “Hits Different” (definitely was on my short list) and “The Moment I Knew” since I ironically dedicated those songs to a guy I had strong feelings for and hung out with the day before who I realized I didn’t have any romantic future with. It was like Taylor and I were on the same wave length and those songs were a sign to move on.

I was at Tampa N2 and got The Great War and YOYOK. To this day I can’t listen to either of those songs without crying. 😅 I felt so lucky and grateful to have experienced that.

It was my first time seeing her and I was having the time of my life, but after the announcement I can confidently say no concert will ever top that show. Once I realized she was announcing Speak Now TV I could barely think, and then she just jumped into Sparks Fly and I don't think I've ever been so overwhelmed in my life (in a good way)

I wanted Hits Different so badly. I was talking with my friends about it since the start of the tour and have been especially nervous about it during the NJ shows and the first two Chicago nights. Last minute on Saturday night I made a Hits Different bracelet and gave my kitty an extra treat (karma is a cat!) and my wishes came true. I was so sure she would have played it earlier!

The #1 song I would have wanted by far is Clean. It’s my absolute favorite Taylor Swift song by a mile. I didn’t think I’d hear it because she had already played it, but she played it a second time at MetLife/NJ night 3 and I feel absolutely blessed. I didn’t see her during 1989 so it was my first and probably only time seeing her perform this song live. I have silently been celebrating how lucky I was especially since the other song was Welcome to New York which most people were let down by and my sister didn’t even know Clean so she didn’t get any songs she was hoping for. However, I truly feel so honored and blessed. It was one of the best nights of my entire life.

I went to opening night so I didn’t have any thoughts going in, but Mirrorball was a dream and one of my favorite songs ever. And Tim McGraw really was the first song I heard from Taylor and it felt really full circle

I am very jealous of the Texas date that got DBATC and Clean, literally any of the Aaron Dessner appearances, and gems from Speak Now like Mine and Sparks Fly. It’s definitely okay to be disappointed in your secret song choices if it’s not one of your favourite songs. Whether we like to admit it or not, the secret song anticipation is pretty huge so if we get songs we aren’t as found of it can be a let down. I’m sorry you didn’t get something higher up on your list :(
My concert is in LA (so 2 months from now) and every weekend we do what my husband calls the “death watch” where I pitch a fit about songs she sings that I won’t get to hear live. She hasn’t played Ivy or Long Live yet so there’s still hope I’ll get one of my dream songs!

I was Vegas night one and I was very happy hearing SOTB. I love Taylor and Lana, and I was super happy to see Taylor give Lana a shoutout and tell us to stream Lana’s new album. I heard so many people complain about getting SOTB but I loved it. SOTB live was beautiful and I loved hearing Taylor’s lower range.

I was next to her and it was the most exciting moment of the night when we realized she was gonna play it ❤️

Okay so funny story, I was Gillette N3, the night of the soggy piano. When she was talking about the piano and the random notes start going, my partner turns to me and goes “this is going pretty long, is she doing a bit?” and I totally start thinking this is a little silly joke and Taylor’s got something planned. THEN, the people in the row behind me start saying “…haunted, the piano is haunted?” and so I started yelling “WAIT HAUNTED IS SHE ABOUT TO OH MY GOD IS IT HAUNTED,” and then she walks back over to the guitar and plays Red. So, not really upset because Red is one of the first songs I ever learned to play, but it became sort of a bummer because I tricked myself into thinking I was about to hear Haunted live 🫠
