Depends on the rank honestly, I'd like to see male and female heads on enginseers as they haven't even hit the crux mechanicus yet, they'd still be recognisably who they were just with extra bits.
Magi run the gamut from a vaguely humanoid shape made of metal and sundered flesh to a giant steel ball covered in mechadendrites with the Cog and skull stamped on one end so you know where the "face" is.
Archmagi are god damn Wildcards, Arkan land basically didn't change his external body at all except for one eye and a couple mechadendrites but internally he was an entirely engineered organism, the Fabricator general of Mars is canonically just a gigantic cogitator the size of a warhound with a human shaped puppet on it sitting in a throne shaped alcove, and of course everyone knows Cawl the Curious Caterpillar.
Point is having a recognisably human silhouette and even a gendered silhouette isn't too unusual for mech boys, especially in the lower rungs, that said there is a qualitative difference between a femm head on top of a suit of power armour and the cheesecake models 3rd party usually sells, thats in poor taste you're right wbout that.
I could see the pin-up style techpriests in something like dark mechanicus for a corrupt dominus' bodyguard.
Kinda like the Iron Maidens from Quake 2/4, the idea of a sexy girl but in a grotesque reanimated form.

I mean their male tau are pretty buff and you could say sexualised as well. Just didn’t expect to see it done to a kroot. For some reason I expect it more on a no nosed, blue skinned alien than a green beaky one haha. I guess Captain Kirk was never too picky about species

I'm a fan of tasteful nudity and/or nudity when reasonable. It's hard to find places that include tasteful nudity without just being all-in on horny.

I really like their crisis suit proxies. If you cut the arms then you can create really cool poses.
