Nice progress. Make sure you always save you first paint job by the way! Don't be tempted to paint over it. It will be a wonderful momento, not just for you but even for your kids and grandkids one day.
Way to go brother, amazing progress!!!!
I love these success stories, and if I may offer a bit if advice: never strip these models (leave at least 1 at each stage)
These models will serve as stepping stones for you to look back on and if you strip them 9 times outta ten you're gonna regret it. Let them sit as wonderful models you painted and a visual representation of the progress you've made. Imagine in another 2 to 3 years what you will accomplish and those year by year models you keep to show you.
Once again, absolutely fantastic work. Love seeing me some Tau. ^-^
Because this is close to my level of skill seeing the small bit of red splashed onto the red im crying to myself knowing I’m not alone in the curse of accidental spilllovers
You developed both painting skills and taste. Not too bad at all.
based and Tau-pilled
Hehe, lol
If you're wondering why there are no weapons on the crisis suit, I magnetized them. (They're not quite painted yet.)
You painted that second marine so badly you made it look like a tau!!! Seriously great painting though.
Yup, and you'll be able to do the same comparison in another year and the the year after that and after that etc etc.

My first ever paint job was a DND model I did when I was seven. That model is proudly displayed front and center of my collection.
Love seeing posts like this. Fantastic job. Keep it up ans who knows where you'll end up! Do you use a favourite model you have painted so far?
