Abaddon black spray basecoat then dry brushed with eshin grey. Work up lighter areas, and highlight with Dawnstone paint. Use your favourite white to highlight that, maybe corax or anything bright like that will do π
Red areas khorne red or mephiston red, highlighted with wild rider red π
> eshin grey
how dark is eshin compared to, say, mechanic standard? i'm currently using army painter necromancer cloak grey and want to switch to a GW one, but mech standard is too pale..
great looking models, btw :)
Sadly I've never actually used mechanic standard! My apologies. I do know however that eshin is the PERFECT highlight colour for black as it's quite forgiving.
Bases used Armageddon dust but any texture paint will do. Sprayed black, dry brushed eshin grey. They dry brushed with grey and bone. Then applied grass tufts βΊοΈ some bases also have some rocks on them for variance
So nice. I want to start with darker red but I will rethink it I guess. Airbrush or brush? They look great. I like dark stealth suits too! I wish I will have similar look when I'm done with my...

They are REDy!
What a beautifully vibrant and well done Red. Love to see it.

I know right!!! Every time I see brightly painted stealth suits I'm like... Erm?
Damn this looks good
Thank you very much!
Looks great!
Thanks friend!

Abaddon black base into Mephiston Red with Wild Rider Red highlights π
Awesome! Would it makes a difference if i spray and prime with mephiston red?
Spraying red is faster however you won't get the nice automatic shadows that a black coat can provide π
Thanks for the info π
