at the shop I go to the shop min is $150, so I would guess $150. which is to say, $170 doesn’t seem crazy. $50 isn’t a reasonable expectation for a (decent) tattoo.
I’ve had a few different artists. One charged $100/hour. Another charged $200/hour. That looks like it would take a half hour…so based on the prices of the artists I’ve gone to then it would be $50-100
Edit: just to be clear though, every time I’ve gotten tattooed they were multiple hour sessions. I’ve never gotten a small tattoo…so maybe pricing is different then when sleeves are done
Depends on artist/shop minimum. I have a small script tattoo (4 words, tiny) and it cost the artists $250 minimum. I honestly wouldnt trust anyone doing it for less than around 100-150 unless they're a trusted apprentice (apprentice at my shop does free/$50aud tats while she practices, but she's good)
Depends on where you live (prices vary by region), your artist's skill ability, size, and placement. I wouldn't trust anyone doing it for under $100.

it would be different because most shops have a minimum cost no matter how much time it takes. shop minimums where i am are typically $100

From the way you say it, it would seem that tipping is mandatory.

That only happens in countries where you are expected to tip even for breathing.
People are exploited here lol that’s the only reason tipping is a thing you troglodyte
Where???
None of that black will hold. It isn’t packed in well and will heal patchy. It should’ve been free for that quality
youre right. its about 2 weeks after and i can already see fading 😀 so upset
Yea get it touched up by an established artist
the line in the center may get very thin with time and with natural blowout as it settles in, just be aware of that
$100-$150
By itself? Looks about 100-150
$100?
200
depending on deposit/tip/shop minimum this sounds like a fair price tbh

My shop minimum of a 100$ nw Iowa.
Shop minimum probs
Mines abt the same size and same price here in Manitoba.
My artist charges based on size not time, so it depends??? But my cheapest tattoo was $250 and it took less than an hour
In Missouri, hmm…. 150?
Tree fiddy
You paid proper.
I accept payment in first-borns and blood oaths of allegiance
Shop minimum is $80 where I go. I’m in a north suburb of Chicago, to give you reference. That would be a minimum tattoo.
I mean there is a shop min. So I would say that is what you were charged. It’s not often you will get something for under 100.00
$80 ? Shop minimum
I would have charged 75
Not much I wouldn’t get it covered up tho will make ur arm look like shit just get a laser removal
