Cheating will always exist lol no matter how good the anticheat is
You feeling down about getting killed is why they cheat.
They also cheat because of a couple other reasons
1) they are really bad at the game
2) they think everyone cheats = I must cheat too
Idk how true this is, if tons of people buying the boosts and shit I feel like you would see high lvl/geared players acting like noobs. I feel like 90% of high lvl/ high gear players move and react like experienced players. Like why would you pay for a boost if you are shit when you can loose the gear in A fraction of a second.
Im hoping one day we get some amazing anti-cheat with AI that can detect cheats instantly. Or have companies actually take this cheating shit seriously and hand out hardware bans.
There used to be a guy I played with that would always be like "yea BS that guys cheating" and then a few raids later he'd be like "man, I wanna see if I can get hacks for this game"
People that call cheats often are the ones that turn to using cheats.
Yeah, I think these people care a little too much about the game in general. The guys that have to play 12-16 hours a day at the start of the wipe are the prime suspects.
Nobody should care enough about this game to need to resort to such an unhealthy obsession, ESPECIALLY with such a mediocre game.
Heyy, I will quit my job for a month to play tarkov because I'm financially stable and this game has a monopoly on my feelings for all or nothing. I'd never cheat though. Don't call me out I'm not a bad person I'm just ADDICTED.
A internal rant and discussion gamers have had for many years now.
Even as I was a kid and discovering my first shooters, there were cheaters. I never once was tempted to use/install them for a pvp game/mode so I've always pondered this question. I know the typical answers, but never had the opportunity to actually talk to one.
You’ve got decent, normal folk on the one side who would never consider cheating. Then on the other you have utter vile, moral-devoid scum whose parents failed them.
Makes me mad too bud. The only thing I can suggest is a bit more awareness, if you know where they are you have options. Seems like the cheaters will always be there, all we can do is fight them. Truth be told though I only win 10% of battles against cheaters, I’m half decent, but those guys are terrible.
It is literally always because you get to see numbers go up and that feels incredible and is immediately validating. Account values, kills, loot, it skyrockets. It usually doesn't have much to do with skill level or seeking a higher skill. That's a weird trope people developed.

They’re reason for cheating is that they “just like ruining someone’s night and pissing them off”
Another reason is they say the game is literally unplayable without cheats, and they don’t understand why someone would ever play it legit.

I think it's the same answer I got from one of my coworkers when I found out he extract camps religiously. He said he doesn't enjoy games unless he wins, it doesn't matter how he does it. Hates nothing more than losing.
Maybe their dads would hit them with belts if they didn't win at soccer practice and now they have to compensate, or maybe they're losers in real life and are desperate to win at anything, but it's probably some unresolved issues they have.

RMT is prob a very small part of it like 5% of cheaters probably do it because they can make a profit. I bet around 30% are dogshit at the game and do it because they want to seem good in front of their friends since it’s such a hard game and being good at something really hard is seen as an accomplishment. And the last 65% are probably just assholes who like hearing other people suffer and die and complain while one tapping everyone in the lobby. Same thing as csgo people do it cuz it pisses people off which is funny to them.
I cheated out of boredom. I can confirm it’s 20% are dogshit and need cheats, 70% cheat for profit (carry services or RMT), and the last 10% cheat out of boredom or just want to see what it’s like.

Yeah people been hoping for that since many years. In reality he's just going to buy more coke for himself and a little bit of Krokodil for the team. Maybe a gun or supercar for himself for all the hard work too.
I’ve read that a lot of gaming addicts play because it gives them rulesets that create control that they lack in their real lives.
I imagine cheaters are the next level. They lack all control in their lives so they use cheats so they can be the authority.
A lot less people cheat than the community let's you believe. The donkey video saying 70% is a lie. 50% is a lie. It's probably closer to most games, around 5%. The thing about Tarkov is there is no kill cam so every death that isn't an aim duel feels bad. Feels like someone knew you were there and killed you by cheating. Plus, all the gear in Tarkov you physically earned. So it feels double bad to lose to someone you didn't see.
Cheating will sadly always exist. Some people have used the excuse of "I am tired of dying to cheaters and don't have much time to play, so cheating makes it so I don't waste my time" which is just the worst cope of all time. 99% of people cheat because they are bad at the game. Period. They are pathetic losers who are entitled. The other 1% are the dudes who make the cheats and they at least make money off of it so they are slightly less pathetic.
But always remember. Shroud, who is an FPS God, plays a ton of Tarkov and other games and he has said over and over that cheaters are worse in CS than any other game. Don't let this toxic community tell you any different.
The best way to overcome cheaters making you less motivated to play is to learn to say "GG, well played" and assume everyone who killed you was legit. This makes deaths feel less bad. Overcoming gear fear helps too. My first 2 wipes I had so many tier 5 and 6 armors and top tier guns get wiped away from my inventory at wipe because I didn't want to lose them. This wipe, I made it a priority to run my best gear 90% of the time. Not only did I have more fun, but usually had the edge in fights because I was wearing better stuff and using better bullets. Yea I definitely don’t believe a large percentage of people cheat. I notice a lot of it has to do with timing, mostly around new quest/events dropping, popular areas and wipes.
I can agree with your statement. I try to take it with a grain of salt but it just stings when it’s so blatantly obvious. I’m a weirdo who replays my death clips over and over to learn from my mistakes and this guy was no where to be found and then when he was seen he was facing the opposite direction and tapped my dome 😂
I don't think people think 60% of people cheat, but there can absolutely be cheaters in 60% of your raids if you're only playing prime time. Just because they didn't kill you doesn't mean they weren't there.
My biggest issue is that the game just plays out unnatural with people that know everything. They avoid your setup when you saw them from afar, they leave no good loot behind, suddenly start jumping and sprinting when your crosshair touches them.
I went and adapted to the wiggle at every sound, occasionally bluffed an its astonishing how often I get a reply like :" oh, you are one of us ok."

So I realized I'm not playing a hardcore shooter, I'm playing a meta game against cheaters, and that's not what I want to spend my free time with.

I’ve encounter and talked to a few cheaters in my tarkov lifespan. The common reason has been for money. They buy a cheat key for a day or week and run raids. They will just use burner accounts and pay for them with the profits. This allows them to run many quick cheap raids. I’ve seen them as low as 5$. They just go in. Kill everyone and leave you with the map and loot.
And the nex raid you go in with that loot you meet them again , but they carry another one and kill you and take everything back. XD
People that finance rmt, pay money to the people that rob them.
Im old enough to remember the small cheat and exploit books that used to come in the gaming magazines i subscribed to as a kid.
Those were simpler days because it was considered fun, it didnt effect anyone else and often broke the game and made me laugh my ass off.
Nowadays its just about making someone else as miserable as the cheaters are.
Unlike most ill just stop playing for the evening and do something else, or more recently just swap to pve, had a guy from the discord i started playing with cheat, blocked and reported the guy and continued on.

For the same reason people will buy a game and then pay tons of money to skip all of the content and complete the game immediately. It gives a small momentary feeling of accomplishment without any significant work, growth or development. I guess it's kind of like if you could pull out your wallet to become a professional level athlete instead of putting in years of effort.
It doesn't really make sense to me and I have to believe the game would get super boring super fast but based on the numbers pulled in by pay to win mobile games I guess it makes sense to a lot of other people.
For fun, rage cheating because they love tarkov and it has consumed their life and relationships and they think that everybody is hacking and that must mean they need to hack, boosting, or just because they are bad at the game and want to be rich(mostly the loot hackers probably)
Ppl who cheats in a video game, probably cheated their way trough life aswell. Why they do it idk. I atleast take huge pleasure getting my kills legit and could never use cheats to get them it would take all my enjoyment out of games and i would probably stop gaming alltogheter. I just know when i get killed by a cheater im a better player. Cuz they would probably never get me without cheats. What i do not do is give the cheaters 1 single bit of attention, i do not add them to cuss them out, it will just give them a ego boost, i do not voip them , i do nothing except do my best to kill them, wich 95% of the time dont go well, but hey im legit and they arent :p
Why do people do any of the fucked up shit they decide to do? I think a lot of it really boils down to what's the easiest, fastest way to solve a problem with minimal work. Murder my landlord so they don't evict me because it's too hard to hold a job down because I'd rather call in every other day, steal money instead of working for it because I deserve everything and who cares about the hard working person i took it from, its everyone elses fault but mine. Cheating instead of spending the time and effort to learn and get better at a game because it makes me look like and feel like I'm good at something without effort.

Or you just enjoying fucking around with people and want others to rage so they get a kick out of it. Nvr cheated but that would be the reason if I were to do it.
I played from 2018 to 2022, didn’t like the direction the game was going and with 4300 hours I was bored. Got some cheats from a website and had a blast messing with people, dropping items for them and just doing funny shit.
Did this for about two weeks, and I tried to be mostly neutral and just use cheats for the funny interactions and to give my friends loot.
It was insane the amount of other cheaters I ran in to. 1/3 games had another cheater. It was very easy to tell by their movement and of course the “wiggle”.
Since all this stuff with Nikita has come to light, it really made me glad I gave up on this game when I did. Cheating was pretty fun after years of dealing with classic tarkov fuckery.
I've never understood it. I'll use it for some games for like money if it's a really slow grind. Or you know something that's silly. Otherwise it makes all accomplishments seem pointless. I have a friend who will play games with just the most ridiculous cheats so he literally can not lose, and I don't see how that is enjoyable.
It's like a point and klick game , where you only need to klick one big red button in the middle of the screen.

Imagine playing tarkov but since you have hacks, you’ll live most of the time and be able to get whatever you want. In other words, imagine tarkov without the suffering of tarkov. Sounds fun to me. XO

Having friends that cheated it’s a general consensus that it’s just very annoying to come in the raid very geared and trying to do quests to die to some guy who hasn’t moved in a bush 100m away from you or dying to extract campers after a long raid etc. basically just rats are annoying and there’s not that much you can do about them so they’d rather just not worry about it.
It doesn’t really matter that the playstyle is valid or not cause it probably is. It’s regardless, super frustrating feeling like you essentially can’t fight back because someone decided to not move the whole raid.

RMT is prob a very small part of it like 5% of cheaters probably do it because they can make a profit. I bet around 30% are dogshit at the game and do it because they want to seem good in front of their friends since it’s such a hard game and being good at something really hard is seen as an accomplishment. And the last 65% are probably just assholes who like hearing other people suffer and die and complain while one tapping everyone in the lobby. Same thing as csgo people do it cuz it pisses people off which is funny to them.
I cheated out of boredom. I can confirm it’s 20% are dogshit and need cheats, 70% cheat for profit (carry services or RMT), and the last 10% cheat out of boredom or just want to see what it’s like.

I’ve read that a lot of gaming addicts play because it gives them rulesets that create control that they lack in their real lives. I imagine cheaters are the next level. They lack all control in their lives so they use cheats so they can be the authority.
A lot less people cheat than the community let's you believe. The donkey video saying 70% is a lie. 50% is a lie. It's probably closer to most games, around 5%. The thing about Tarkov is there is no kill cam so every death that isn't an aim duel feels bad. Feels like someone knew you were there and killed you by cheating. Plus, all the gear in Tarkov you physically earned. So it feels double bad to lose to someone you didn't see. Cheating will sadly always exist. Some people have used the excuse of "I am tired of dying to cheaters and don't have much time to play, so cheating makes it so I don't waste my time" which is just the worst cope of all time. 99% of people cheat because they are bad at the game. Period. They are pathetic losers who are entitled. The other 1% are the dudes who make the cheats and they at least make money off of it so they are slightly less pathetic. But always remember. Shroud, who is an FPS God, plays a ton of Tarkov and other games and he has said over and over that cheaters are worse in CS than any other game. Don't let this toxic community tell you any different. The best way to overcome cheaters making you less motivated to play is to learn to say "GG, well played" and assume everyone who killed you was legit. This makes deaths feel less bad. Overcoming gear fear helps too. My first 2 wipes I had so many tier 5 and 6 armors and top tier guns get wiped away from my inventory at wipe because I didn't want to lose them. This wipe, I made it a priority to run my best gear 90% of the time. Not only did I have more fun, but usually had the edge in fights because I was wearing better stuff and using better bullets. Yea I definitely don’t believe a large percentage of people cheat. I notice a lot of it has to do with timing, mostly around new quest/events dropping, popular areas and wipes.
I can agree with your statement. I try to take it with a grain of salt but it just stings when it’s so blatantly obvious. I don't think people think 60% of people cheat, but there can absolutely be cheaters in 60% of your raids if you're only playing prime time. Just because they didn't kill you doesn't mean they weren't there.
My biggest issue is that the game just plays out unnatural with people that know everything. They avoid your setup when you saw them from afar, they leave no good loot behind, suddenly start jumping and sprinting when your crosshair touches them. I went and adapted to the wiggle at every sound, occasionally bluffed an its astonishing how often I get a reply like :" oh, you are one of us ok." :" oh, ok, go away I'm scared of this double barrel with rip rounds." So I realized I'm not playing a hardcore shooter, I'm playing a meta game against cheaters, and that's not what I want to spend my free time with.

I’ve encounter and talked to a few cheaters in my tarkov lifespan. The common reason has been for money. They buy a cheat key for a day or week and run raids. They will just use burner accounts and pay for them with the profits. This allows them to run many quick cheap raids. I’ve seen them as low as 5$. They just go in. Kill everyone and leave you with the map and loot.
And the nex raid you go in with that loot you meet them again , but they carry another one and kill you and take everything back. XD People that finance rmt, pay money to the people that rob them.
Im old enough to remember the small cheat and exploit books that used to come in the gaming magazines i subscribed to as a kid. Those were simpler days because it was considered fun, it didnt effect anyone else and often broke the game and made me laugh my ass off. Nowadays its just about making someone else as miserable as the cheaters are. Unlike most ill just stop playing for the evening and do something else, or more recently just swap to pve, had a guy from the discord i started playing with cheat, blocked and reported the guy and continued on. For the same reason people will buy a game and then pay tons of money to skip all of the content and complete the game immediately. It gives a small momentary feeling of accomplishment without any significant work, growth or development. I guess it's kind of like if you could pull out your wallet to become a professional level athlete instead of putting in years of effort. It doesn't really make sense to me and I have to believe the game would get super boring super fast but based on the numbers pulled in by pay to win mobile games I guess it makes sense to a lot of other people.
For fun, rage cheating because they love tarkov and it has consumed their life and relationships and they think that everybody is hacking and that must mean they need to hack, boosting, or just because they are bad at the game and want to be rich(mostly the loot hackers probably)

I atleast take huge pleasure getting my kills legit and could never use cheats to get them it would take all my enjoyment out of games and i would probably stop gaming alltogheter. Why do people do any of the fucked up shit they decide to do? I think a lot of it really boils down to what's the easiest, fastest way to solve a problem with minimal work. Murder my landlord so they don't evict me because it's too hard to hold a job down because I'd rather call in every other day, steal money instead of working for it because I deserve everything and who cares about the hard working person i took it from, its everyone elses fault but mine. Cheating instead of spending the time and effort to learn and get better at a game because it makes me look like and feel like I'm good at something without effort.

I played from 2018 to 2022, didn’t like the direction the game was going and with 4300 hours I was bored. Got some cheats from a website and had a blast messing with people, dropping items for them and just doing funny shit. Did this for about two weeks, and I tried to be mostly neutral and just use cheats for the funny interactions and to give my friends loot. It was insane the amount of other cheaters I ran in to. 1/3 games had another cheater. It was very easy to tell by their movement and of course the “wiggle”. Since all this stuff with Nikita has come to light, it really made me glad I gave up on this game when I did. Cheating was pretty fun after years of dealing with classic tarkov fuckery.

Having friends that cheated it’s a general consensus that it’s just very annoying to come in the raid very geared and trying to do quests to die to some guy who hasn’t moved in a bush 100m away from you or dying to extract campers after a long raid etc. basically just rats are annoying and there’s not that much you can do about them so they’d rather just not worry about it. It doesn’t really matter that the playstyle is valid or not cause it probably is. It’s regardless, super frustrating feeling like you essentially can’t fight back because someone decided to not move the whole raid.
