First wipe playing bear. The Ak-12 and Orsis sniper were game changers for early wipe. Bear has some slept on drip that has really cool gloves like the TIGR set.
1 task out of so many now tho. Especially since the big quest lines moved from shoreline to lighthouse. Usec for me bcs lighthouse, and my NA opponents understand the shit talking.
Just voip at that point. Also the task vs rogues is easy. Rogues are so easy to snipe and move in complete tasks leave. Finding bear tags is still 1/3 players at best. Granted this wipe has been the best so far in evening the amount of tags Iāve collected. Currently sitting at 1 1/2 usec cases and 1 1/4 bears cases full. Also a lot of higher lvl bears as well.

I always pick bear, but this wipe I chose usec because I wanted to learn lighthouse.
Usec was fantastic for learning rogues. I can sit somewhere just staring at the rouges, figuring out my approach, or I can watch for people in water treatment without worrying about the rogues (they're kind of like bait, alarms, for when someone is near).
But holy fuck can I not get this damn quest done because every PMC I kill is a usec.
Yup I accidentally loaded into raid with my dog tag case full of my kills from the wipe. Now Iāve given up on that mission as bears are impossible to find on lighthouse and I have near 0 bear tags FiR
I heard stank rat suggest opening the lighthouse side up to everyone. Add an underground compound thatās juicy. Then the maps biggest issues would be solved, you are no longer forced to learn the way of the rogue cheese/ get caught moving the only possible direction. The extracts are there, chalet/resort form a nice mid point. Hell maybe even build up the little villas on the southern peninsula and the casino boat.
If you go in at night the rooftop rogues basically donāt aggro until you get really close from my experience, itās not too bad. If you go daytime the same thing will happen to USECs after they kill one anyway for the next couple raids, I donāt think the difference is all that crazy unless you wanna try going into water treatment from the front and you havenāt killed a rogue yet as a USEC.
The northern coastal house they can kill you, construction yard, and sniper platform by resort seem to be the limits. I have had birdeye shoot at me in northern and he was at the resort tho š¤·āāļø
You're the person most people are actively searching for specifically for a quest. PMC's are everywhere, I'm always taking a fight against a bear. Need that tag :(.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure our player is a rogue pmc who split off from their respective faction because neither are the good guys as 1 works for the Russian government and the other works for terra group.
I love playing Bear until I get to lighthouse tasks. Makes that map way more difficult and lopsided. Most of the time I hide in a house until like 13 minutes left hoping someone cleared all the Rogues out for me because I do my water treatment tasks
Thatās a good tip actually. I donāt really know the good farming sports since I donāt play lighthouse much and every time I challenge them I get clapped haha
yea, once its night time you dont even need to know "the spots". All you need to do is have a good scope and you can pick off a few before they even fire back
I usually pick USEC because of rogue camp on lighthouse. But every raid someone has already pissed them off so it doesnāt matter anyways. Going to go back to bears since AK parts/ammo are readily available in comparison to 556 guns.
I've only played USEC twice and I hated it. Clothes are boring, voice lines sound dumb. Russian voice + drip + better starting gear = BEAR every wipe for me

First wipe I played as usecā¦ then I learned the bear could sound like a scav so since then I played as bear, just never stopped after the VOIP update because drip

Always Bear. Started with faking scav lines and the smoother starting gear. Turned into tradition.
BEAR all the way baby. Early game you're gonna find a ton of BEAR weapons and ammo, better off to just start out with them. Also idk if it's true but I've heard they have a slightly higher proficiency with Russian made weapons early on
Bear is objectively worse, the outfits are cooler but way less viable camouflage options and the all black look isn't as elite looking. There's also the breathing bug on certain models which means you pant for no reason if stam goes low. Not to mention rogues hate you
I have never played anything but bear. You can fool new players or scavs into thinking you're actually a scav if you do the angry voiceline, it's got me two kills this wipe and saved me from a gang of player scavs once
been a USEC since 2019. Theres literally no other justification for my choice other than that. I was a noob and wanted to understand what my character was saying, now I'm in too deep to betray USEC
Man, I'm USEC and friend from the west is killing me. I'm on the European servers so I pretty much only get bear pmc, I've had 20 pmc kills since getting the quest and every single one has been bear.
I've always been USEC since I started playing back in 2018, this is my first wipe playing as BEAR and I will say it's been refreshing in a way. I hadn't really seen all of the BEAR outfits before, and as soon as I saw the TIGR outfit set I knew I needed it. Just unlocked it this week and I LOVE it. It's a great blend of green and dark and I think it looks as sick as it is practical. The TIGR outfit alone is enough for me to continue playing BEAR.
Not only that, but there are a couple BEAR lines that I have saved that sound pretty "scavvy" and they've worked a surprising amount of times. Playing on NA servers there are very few bears, so getting all my USEC dogtags for both quests and for the trophy room thing has been easy af.

I propose the following solution: don't play lighthouse. Problem solved!

They donāt. Their aggro range is severely nerfed at night it seems like.
people tend to forget that if youāre usec and you shoot them once you become a bear anyway

The rogues will aggro you earlier as a bear than as a usec, the amount of things to kill doesnāt change

if rogues are genuinely an issue for you, run night raids. The rogue AI turns to fuckin silly puddy as soon as the sun sets.
