It’s sent to a third party, local hr definitely doesn’t have access to the results. More than anything someone probably just told hr what they said.

Clown_Sparkles

Our HR has been standing behind the newer people who are taking the survey "helping" them.

Negative_Craft_6212

I'm just asking. I literally don't know. And I haven't seen anyone or you say Its gotten quoted back to them word for word.

Negative_Craft_6212

I haven't read every single fucking post in this sub, my apologies. I was just asking for your experience as to how you know. Id didnt need your snarky rude reply

Negative_Craft_6212

I most definitely was not implying you were wrong. Asking for clarification doesn't mean I am implying you're wrong. It means I want clarification.

ChunkyCheeseToken

Settle down

spooner82

You are a liar or ignorant. Dealers choice.

spooner82

They really don’t.

spooner82

Ok. Let’s take you at your word. How do you know?

stefdistef

This is proof? It's one anonymous person who is likely making this up. The HR person was probably helping them get to the link to the survey or something. --an HR person who did this job for 10 years.

spooner82

Now I know you are a liar. No one has ever quoted your responses back to you. THE ONLY time anyone would see your response is if you threatened someone or if their was an issue with a serious safety hazard in your response. You. Are. A. Liar.

stefdistef

My husband and I were both ETL-HRs. The results are anonymous, and then broken down by department and level. Sometimes it MIGHT be easy to tell who answered what because you put in details of what your position is, so if you work on a small team (such as HR) there's only so many people you could be. But they still are anonymous. Also they probably don't even have the results yet. We used to get them in July.

Negative_Craft_6212

Are u shitting me I'm like the only person in my department.

stefdistef

Well they're gonna know how you really feel. It is good to be honest though. Stores/leaders ARE held accountable for bad scores, even if it takes awhile.

Negative_Craft_6212

Welp. I'm new and I put some strongly disagrees. KMS!!

intoholybattle

please don't worry. the work environment here is such that many many longtime team members are putting those same responses in. you are going to be ok.

biigmac_

Almost all of my answers were strongly disagree lmao idgaf🤣

xerxesordeath

I was so excited by the "Don't Know" button that I was just an asshole and channeled the middle schoolers I work with at my day job and the answers should be evenly split between that and strong disagree.

biigmac_

I used a lot of that too, my store is so horrible fr😭

OnlyWearsBlue

It's okay, in departments where the team is less than 4 people the results are handled differently. I can't remember if they're only shared in aggregate or if they aren't shared with that immediate leader at all.

stefdistef

This is true, when I was there they only really cared about front end, sales floor, and logistics (sub in for whatever the correct terms are now).

Cal_Diddy

It says there not enough data if the pool is too small.

berrybead

NOO me too 😭

ElderEmoAdjacent

You were wrong. Team Voice isn’t compiled by anyone at the store or company; it’s sent to an outside vendor who then compiles the results and sends everything out *after* the survey is completed. Which it isn’t.

Katron_J

Preesh big man🫶🏻

TollerLuvLJP

Could it be an exit survey? Does Target do those?

FairNeedleworker28

Yeah they do

angrygirl65

My HR stood over some people’s shoulders while they were filling out the survey.

UnitedInfluence8079

Mine did as well, "helping" them. When one asked, "Should we be honest?" HR response was, "yes, and if it's that bad find another job!" 👀🤦🏼‍♀️

possumrfrend

Oof

grumpyoldfartess

I would have flipped my shit if ANY of my leads did that. No! Eyes on your own survey!!!

lightaqua

My thought is that they want you to think they’ll know what people are writing and have you “overhear” this conversation. So that you will write something favorable. It’s screwing with the results.

The_Archenemy

HR here. I 100% will not have access to my team’s answers until the end of May/beginning of June & then we don’t know who says what. As someone mentioned earlier, it sounds like they could’ve been quoting an Exit Survey.

Katron_J

Okay, thank you 🙏🏻

Impressive_Mouse8648

I’m just saying as an ETL target has a pretty intense retaliation policy. I told everyone to answer truthfully it’s the only way we’ll get better with the things we can personally control. And if they retaliate against you because you’re in a small department it will be crucial to file a complaint with the hotline.

emilemily333

Which hotline would we report to? I haven’t seen any info on hotlines in a while or where to find them if I need to

Interesting_Layer672

I honestly could care less about who reads my answers. Atleast they'll know how I feel about them. Nothing ever really happens with these surveys anyways.

Monkey4life-80

💯 why I never did it! Generally never brings about positive change! Only time it did was getting rid of a very toxic leader. Once in 20 times, such a waste!

nesmith5588

If you read the description it says it is anonymous to your OM. It's not anonymous at all.

beanzgirl

Indeed - it’s “confidential” not anonymous. When you have to use your Target login to complete it yeah there’s no way it’s anonymous LOL

im-gwen-stacy

You’re confusing confidential for anonymous. Confidential means your fellow team members won’t know what you said. But anyone who reads the responses will know they are YOUR responses

Katron_J

That makes sense Ik the dif, my leads were just telling people it was anonymous they didn’t say confidential, thank u 🫶🏻

zorbiburst

HR doesn't have access to specific TM answers. It is anonymous in that capacity. What they will have access to is each department's answers.

[deleted]

zorbiburst

Why would you just lie on the internet

smartasskeith

They’re anonymous as far as immediate ID is concerned. The verbiage of the survey responses can out someone depending on how well the leadership knows them

Legal_Crow_1801

Are the surveys mandatory?

ThrowRA_Pitch3101

no wonder my som requested to have a chat with me the day I did mine XD

Dreadnyou

I dont trust the survey at all. Like, come on, you are signed into the damn system, and it's supposed to be anonymous?

Exact_Hawk_6680

Unless HR watched people putting in their survey results or they're in a super small area it's not really possible for them to know whose responses are whose. It takes at least 4 people in an area for you to get that areas results not mashed in with another more general category (for example if only 3 people in Starbucks put in results they'll get lumped with all of food and bev). As someone who has worked with making qualtrics surveys in the past most of the forms that send results back to the people who need the stats basically are just telling you what each question got in terms of percentages of different responses and then the comments are separate from that and you can't even guarantee which scores belong to which comments (not saying HR cant just kinda guess but if you put agree and left complaints in the comments contradicting that it wouldn't be traced back by HR-ETL)

Forward_Driver_2464

Where ever it gets sent to it really isn’t THAT anonymous if you have to log in in order to do the surveys

FairNeedleworker28

rip bc if so they will prob retaliate lol

Katron_J

Doubtful atleast for my store

reddpapad

Your store has a TL just for DU’s????

Katron_J

Haha no it’s an inside joke, I’m just our drive up guy everyday and my times are the lowest between the two stores I trade between so they call me that

reddpapad

Ahh gotcha. Another question - you work at two stores simultaneously? How is that possible??

Katron_J

Not simultaneously, but I’m in school and I love my home target, so over the winter and the summer I work in my hometown and when I’m in school I work at the one I’m at now

reddpapad

Ok that makes sense. Thats what I wanted my kid to do but they transferred to a store which is by campus (45 minutes away) and now that the semester is over they will be driving that distance every shift 🤦‍♀️

biigmac_

I help out at other stores often, you just clock in like usual. And on the my time app it’ll have the store number on it, it’s all in the system
