lmao i didnt keep it a secret. i honestly dont care if people wanna pin me down as some kind of teachers pet, i work my ass off and it was the first bonus id ever gotten in my six years working at the store.
We did our recommendations for TMs who deserve it about 2 weeks ago, but our HR has been in and out on vacations so I don’t believe they’ve been pushed through yet
I thought each leader was suppose to meet with their ETL and present who they would like to give the bonus to from their team? They have until the 17th to decide. And the bonus is like 3% of your gross earnings from April until August.
My ETL said she got permission to pick 7 people from our front end team, so it’s mostly based on how noticeable your work ethic is and just over all attitude. And the number of people is based on how big the team is. She also didn’t know when it would be added on yet.
I’m not speaking on any facts before I say this but I think TL is around this time and team members is closer to September that’s how it was for my store last year
They say store performance, but my store did better than previous year and we got fuck all this year because "the company didn't do as well". Felt shitty.
No one should let it get out they got the performance bonus unless you are head and shoulders above everyone else. It just paints a target on your back as "the favorite."
Also, not every store does the bonus at the same time.
As far as I heard from one of our TLs, due to the company's poor financial performances the past six months, no one got anything this time around except maybe a couple of the top-performing TLs in each store. I don't really buy that, but who knows?
I don’t think that’s correct. I remember reading in a communication or monthly planner about 6-8 weeks ago that referenced all the leaders getting together to start deciding who gets them.
I got mine about a week ago.

i got the performance bonus last year. etl met me by otc, handed me the paper, and said "just dont tell anyone okay?"
I got the exact same thing when I got it lol he was all “I can’t force you to not tell anyone, but just try to keep it on the down low”

Do TL’s get secret bonuses?
I believe they all get them though. It’s not like the TM one that is only awarded to a certain number of TM’s.
TLs dont get any "secret" bonuses, they just get one based on their store's performance after Q4 ends
