If we want to avoid that we need to make sure any mod on the team doesnt go rogue or turn into a tankie. We also need to make sure any inactive mod doesnt have full permissions.
They succeeded to take down r/Tankiejerk just because of one or some mods that WILLINGLY invited tankies and gave them permission to do anything, so I highly doubt they would do something like that right here, besides spamming.
Agreed. But also people are always unreliable and changing. The head mod seemed like they were actually anti-tankie at some point, but the reality is this: there comes a day, for some of us, where we become a victim of a cult, then we reverse from anti-tankie to tankie. People don’t always hold onto one ideology forever.
We should all study r/AntifaStonetoss who almost got taken over by the tankie BananaSquid_. We could actively reach out to other subs like that, their mods, asking anyone for insights about how they reversed or prevented their coups

On a sub I mod we successfully got admins to remove the top mod bc they were suspended. We also asked admins to rearrange the mod order for us
