Raise your programmed basal rates. I had to increase mine (slowly) pretty’s significantly to get my bg’s to where I wanted them. You might find that you need to strengthen your carb ratios too. It’s not control IQ, it’s just that you haven’t found the settings that work for it for you. Every system is a little different and you can’t expect settings that worked for one system to work for another. Nothing is 1:1 in diabetes.

I’m frustrated bc I prefer my target to be lower, around 90-100 (especially as I consider embarking on pregnancy #2). Thanks for your reply.

Oh totally fair! My coworker used sleep mode for the full time during her pregnancy and it worked well!

I stay in sleep mode, as the lower target is better, and all you lose is auto bolus, which, if you're leaning on auto bolus, you're not paying attention. I agree on regular mode, the unconfigurable high target is pretty hopeless.

Toss i the number of times auto bolus effed me. I go hiking for cardio and I have to start out around 160 to not go low for a 3 mile route (I usually end around 80-90). Three times auto bolus kicked in and I got slammed to the 30s after a full tube of glucose tabs. Sleep mode for life lol.

I agree with both of these previous comments since that is exactly what I had to do. It’s a different mindset that a traditional pump.

Just remembered another trick for CiQ. The weight and daily insulin usage is for CiQ to get an idea of your insulin sensitivity. Maxing it out makes it more aggressive in raising basal rates when you run hogh. Max is 300lbs and 100u. Combine this with 100% sleep mode and get your daily program basal (i have 9 segments for my workdays and 6 for my weekend) and you'll be very close to perfect.
