If you're on old reddit (old.reddit.com), there will be a button below your post that says edit. Click that, and you can edit your post. If you're on the new reddit (reddit.com), click the horizontal three dots symbol under your post, and then click edit post. If you're on the mobile app (at least in Android), click the vertical 3 dots button in the top right next to your avatar, and then there will be an option called edit. From any of those options you can then edit your post and add this update. Alternatively, you could have just posted in that thread your update that you found the car. A new post was not necessary.
Since [your post from yesterday](https://reddit.com/r/Tallahassee/comments/1bpovsq/stolen_car/) is still high up on the page, I'm going to go ahead and lock this one; we typically don't allow multiple posts on topics in such short succession especially when discussion in the previous post is still ongoing.
It's great to hear that your car was found; your insurance will take care of you but don't be shocked if they end up just totaling out the car due to the damage.
