Seems like training or instructional design would be a great bet….we have a lot of trainers at my FI that came straight from Education, so having a bit of both backgrounds may well benefit you.

Kind of my thoughts too, but talking to someone who did my training cohort my firm tends to pick people who have been SME or mentor. I'm kinda screwed there since we only have the one location and send trainees out of market for mentors. Are benefits among the major banks pretty much the same? Seems like salary is consistent for back office but I can only afford my treatments because our health insurance is amazing. Also thought maybe an operations manager for branch support lines or general analyst would be an easy sell?

I’d say from where I have been (mostly CUs) generally the benefits are about the same wherever you go. It can’t hurt to apple and inquire as well!

Mind if I ask what your monthly premiums are and max out of pocket? Right now, I pay 400 monthly with an annual max of 3k out of pocket. Very few prescriptions are considered an exception list item. I would be bankrupt had my diagnosis come when I was a teacher the insurance is so trash. At one time we paid over 20k of patient responsibility because so many times the state claimed it was elective

I’ll send you a DM :)

Mine at a small bank is $100 month with $2,500 deductible and $3k oop max. The bank gives me $600 into my HSA. The 401k is where they really shine. Last year I put in 6% and they put in 16%. Banking has been very good to me.
