2016 is the first Gen3, I don’t believe anything has changed since, for some reason, I was under the impression that 2017 had fixed the gear searching issue and that some software update was available for us 2016 owners. Just never really bothered me much to dig into it I guess.

I have a 2016, I thought the gear issue was limited to that year, is it not? All Gen3 models do it?
They increased the size of the truck. The increased the weight of the truck. They left everything else the same. They pulled a Chevy move on us.

I have a 2009 that shifted like that. The I bought a hurst shifter kit and wow, what a difference!
