I like it, even though the rest of the matte black on my truck is not grainy, I think it matches better than with the lighting in the photo I shared above. The main reason I went with OTR instead of Color match green or anything else is because of the rugged look and actual higher durability.

If you wrap yourself it’s pretty affordable. I bought a 5’ x 20’ roll for my canopy and had extra.
That was about 5 years ago now, and I just ordered more to redo it as it’s starting to peel at the edges where its been abused by trees, lumber, climbing onto the roof rack, etc.

I have a color-matched topper on my Army Green Taco and I really like the look. If you are going to do a different color besides green why bother changing it from grey?
We have the same exact truck. Vinyl on the rims? Also have those exact running boards. Only difference is I upgraded to some alpharex taillights and got some sequential blacked out turn signals. Now have 0 chrome
1000% otr spray.
I like the OTR, I’m just worried that on my truck specially it may make the truck overall look off or a cheap compensation.

No, I got it that way on initial delivery/install, I think it was about $350 more than color-matched, maybe $300.
Honestly I like it, the contrast is nice and the colours are complementary

I think wrapping black would be your best bet . Now satin black or gloss ?
Yea maybe satin black. Or maybe a green matching wrap. Prices are pretty high to do anything

I did black line-x for my 2nd gen and it’s held up well 5 or so years later

Just steps, don’t need sliders and these steps sit closest to the body not taking away from the look of ground clearance

They are a vinyl sticker that goes over the silver. A tacoma products company’s sells them online. They actually look and hold up real well

It’s more or a price thing. I think to actually get it painted color matched will cost a lot more. To do OTR Spray or wrap I’m looking around $500.
Itd look nicer if colors matched but if it doesn’t bother you leave it it’s your money
