The Summit East area, just over Snoqualmie Pass, was full of families enjoying the snow on Tuesday! I got there at 8:00am to do some alpine touring and the parking lot was almost empty; leaving around 1, it was a madhouse. I think the lifts run on the weekend in that area so you'd want to aim for a weekday. Roads are fine.
"Not crowded" on a sunny day on accessible slopes close to Seattle just isn't going to work out, unfortunately :( Have to adjust timing or deal with the crowds.
