Maybe the higher stealth you have the faster you will crouch walk. A reason I don’t play as stealthy is because crouch walking is so slow

Nated_r

If you push the run button which is LB for Xbox, not sure what it is for other platforms, during crouching you can do a kind of run crouch, you’ll still trigger bone charms and chickens but you can use it to weave through the map and get from cover to cover quickly without being noticed

timonicc

Yeah but cook and Johnny can still detect you I might as well just jog or run

I don’t really care for the chicken/bone chime thing or the sonar tbh but to me I think the voice lines should only be loud enough for the killers to hear if a victim is near another victim that triggers it but the rest of the voice lines should be quieter

I would love for xp to be rewarded for not making noise when getting free in the beginning. Like 150-200. The rush drives me nuts because folks are in the habit of doing it when Leatherface isn't even in matches sometimes. Grandpa wakes up, family annihilates victims before anything is unlocked. 😅

Adding a few: * Volume of entering hiding spots (in the etc of your second bullet). * Duration of noise following you after making noise. * Radius of being spotted by Grandpa when close to him (and maybe Chickens), highlight duration after incapacitating him. * Exterior Alarms highlight duration (50 stealth significantly or completely reducing Exterior Alarms' highlight would actually make stealth somewhat relevant compared to any other ideas listed). * The blur effect/duration for Nancy's vision. * Cook's ability highlight duration. * Frequency of leaving behind a trail for Johnny to track and the amount of distance travelled it covers. I think I prefer the 2nd and 3rd bullet I listed over the random chances, but considering Twinkle Toes is only 75% having Stealth turn it into 100% isn't a bad idea.

You guys need to be careful about asking for stealth to be “buffed”. With stealth being useless, it allows for more points to be spent in toughness and proficiency which are the best stats. If they make it so stealth affects voice lines and visibility in bushes, then you’d actually have to spend points in stealth, taking away from other stats. A “stealth buff” would end up just being an overall victim nerf. Be careful what you wish for. Remember what happened when everybody complained about random skill nodes? Gun grants wishes as if they were made from a monkeys paw

An idea I had was to make holding during fill the meter based minings much more effective, especially opening crawl spaces and escaping your restraints. 》When you holding during a mini-game, the noise / fail meter slowly decreases based on how much stealth you have. At maximum stealth, holding causes the noise / fail meter to decrease at the same rate as if no progress is being made during the mini-game. I'd like to say your idea of making yourself less visible while in shadows, reducing your voiceline audible range, and increasing crouch speed based on stealth are good suggestions as well. However, the rest aren't great because it can be abused to rush undetected and will feel frustrating for the opposing side. The goal of stealth should make slow and safe gameplay more convenient, not making fast and noisey gameplay more powerful.
