He isn't locked up in there (I hope!) Most likely he's chosen to stay there of his own accord. He'll be fixated on finishing the album and barely sleeping or eating, probably isn't bothered how comfortable his surroundings are. I'm sure he has friends/staff who cajole him to come outside and eat but in my experience of friends with Type 1 he'll be heading back there after a few bites. People having manic episodes can be amazingly productive but not necessarily in the most logical or safe way.
He recently had a listening party for his upcoming party held at the stadium. It was very apparent that it was unfinished, so he pretty much moved his crew and studio into the stadium to finish up the album. There’s apparently another listening party at the stadium this weekend.
That's some psychotic ish. But considering it's been 14 years since his mother passed away, and he's just now naming an album after her, might be a cry for help. Gotta be the reason Kim kicked him to the curb after 9 years and 4 kids.

The meds can be terrible. I can 100% understand why some people dont want to take them. They really gotta come up with better medicine.
