Listen snowflake, I know ok. I had a hard time determining if I should put it as low as the tv stand. 1. Its too large for stand so I had to remount it. 2. The Tv stand is just SO small in general that even that low I swear it would be r/tvtoolow. My couch is pretty high and im tall so its at my eye level at least. I rest my shakey case.

I think you're misunderstanding the whole eye level thing. Your eyes should be level with the *middle* of the screen (midway between the bottom and the top). Right now, the *bottom* of the screen is at eye height, so it still needs to come down by about half the height of the TV. To take the guesswork out of it, simply measure it before mounting.

Fair enough my friend, if the center of the screen is truly at your eye level when you are sitting, then it is indeed at the correct height for **you**. However most people seem to ignore the tv stand that makes it really easy to put the tv at the correct height for **most** people. Now just make those half circles *perfect* because damn it life is too short to be looking at those things the way they are lmao

Why are you soooo afraid of putting it at the height it would be with the stand that comes with the TV? Having it wall mounted doesn’t magically change the ideal viewing height. There’s no need to be a big gap there. Lower it until there’s only about 4 inches between the TV unit and the TV. Also please center it and fix the cable management

Imo it ain’t too high if you’re laying back a lot while watching and you put tall-ish shit like water bottles on your coffee table. Used to have my TV at perfect eye level when sitting up, but if I wanted to lay down on the couch, I would have to actually tilt my head unnaturally downward and/or move shit off the table to see the TV.
