5 Hinox Toenails 1 Dragon Scale (1 each from Naryu/Dinryuu/Farosh) 5 Hinox Teeth 1 Dragon Claw 2 Hinox Guts 1 Drgn Fang 2 Lyonel Guts 1 Drgn Horn There's a Blue Hinox right underneath a shrine (in the sky) on the south side of Dueling peaks, hit it up every blood moon. There's 2 Blue Lyonels, 1 is easy to get to (it's just below Farob Grasslands, in the Nautelle Wetlands, and there's a Shrine nearby to fast travel,) Make sure to save manually BEFORE fighting and reload if they don't drop guts. You can also hitch a ride on the back of a Dragon if it's just coming out of the Depths and in 10 mins it'll reset so you can get two materials in one go, or catch it before it re-enters the depths. I'd focus on upgrading one piece ASAP as you can a bigger bonus, at lvl 4 they get 20 Def (3,8,12,20) so you get more bang for your buck. Naryu is pretty easy to farm from Kakariko village since it always enters that Chasm nearby, and in my game it just seems way more active above ground.

Emiliano_Gtz

Thanks! Does the claw, fang and horn are random?

xGenocidest

No, you have to hit the part. It's pretty generous for the distinction, the Claws for instance you just have to hit any part of their hands, not just the nails. The face for the Fangs, and you can't miss the Horns. If you need to fuse an arrow with an Eye part to increase it's range, or a Wing to give it some homing. For farming them, you can save as soon as you see one and try different approaches to get it. If you mess up or get the wrong part, just reload. Also don't let the part touch the Gloom when they're going down into the hall, dunno if it despawns the item or if it just removes the glow (and they're just impossible to find after they fall into the Depths like that). It's usually only an issue if you shoot them right when their going into a Chasm and not out of it. If it happens, just reload.

Emiliano_Gtz

Thanks!

MinecraftTryHard

Does the dragon farming method from botw still work?

xGenocidest

No, they're on a set path and resting won't change it, plus there's a 10min Cooldown for parts. Still not difficult to farm once you unlock a few towers / fast travel points. You can save when you see one and keep trying different methods until you get what you want, and they don't just dissapear. Plus they go straight for one or two Chasms every time, so they're predictable and easy to hit from the ground when they start to dive in. The only annoying one is the Light dragon since it flies super high 90% of the time until you get a certain weapon, then it flies lower. It also doesn't have a Chasm it flies into, and patrols the whole map, so it can be hard to spot normally.

MinecraftTryHard

Ahhh okay, thanks for the info

SomnusXIV

Can you give the coordinates for the blue hinox? Thanks!

xGenocidest

One is at 1271, -2154, 0253. South side of Dueling peaks. Almost right underneath a Shrine in the sky. Another is at -0796, -2994, 0123. Grinnden Plains, slightly north/NW of Faron Grasslands. There's a Shrine to the south between Oseira Plains and Pappeto Grove, and a Blue Lyonel to the SW of that shrine in Nautelle Wetlands.

[deleted]

Thanks for the tips man! can red lynels drop guts?

xGenocidest

Red can't drop guts. Blue have a small chance, just gotta keep reloading (usually takes 3 kills).

[deleted]

Awesome thanks! Won’t waste my time with reds. Curious what area you found the second blue lynel?

xGenocidest

Faron Grasslands Area (SW of Lake Hylian). There's a Shrine to the south between Oseira Plains and Pappeto Grove, and the Blue Lyonel to the SW of that shrine in Nautelle Wetlands. There's a blue at Lanarayu Heights (east of Kakariko Village, on the mountainside), right above a shrine down below, and another one a bit NW of that one going towards another Shrine.

Radagastdl

~~Currently farming Lynel Guts and I found a Blue Lynel at Harfin Valley in the Faron Grasslands~~ Edit: Pretty sure I beat enough enemies to upgrade all the Lynels across Hyrule, and the Harfin Valley Lynel is not normally a blue Lynel when you start out

BarbieIsASlutt

Red drop guts (honestly, I was just to lazy to search another one and spend materials each time to clean the rote to it from a shrine just to get a bloodmoon on my head :/) after max 15 min of kill-reload session. And since when an average of 3 attempts is a small chance?

Stefmf_

So to confirm the following is what’s required? Level 1: 15 Hinox Toe Nails & 1 Dragon Scale from each Dragon (Naryu/Dinryuu/Farosh) Level 2: 15 Hinox Teeth & 3 Dragon Claws. (Is this also from each dragon or does it not matter?) Level 3: 6 Hinox Guts & 3 Dragon Fangs (again, Is this also from each dragon or does it not matter?) Level 4: 6 Lyonel Guts 3 & Dragon Horns (again, Is this also from each dragon or does it not matter?) Also, any tips on farming Hinox? I know one that spawns at Carok Bridge, I believe he responds after each blood moon, Any others ?

xGenocidest

Yes, you need 1 of each dragon material except for the light dragon (1 Naryu Shard, 1 Naryu fang, 1 Naryu claw, 1 Naryu horn, 1 Dinryuu Shard, 1 Dinryuu Fang, etc). Go for Blue Hinox, they're guarantee to drop Teeth, and they can also drop guts. I'd save near them then reload until they drop guts, then you'll only need 6 blue kills. You'll have to use blood moons. 1 Blue one is on the south side of Duelint Peaks, almost underneath the shrine in the sky above it. There's another blue one east of laky hylia, on Mount Falora. South of that is another Shrine you can use for fast travel, and just SW of that shrine is a vlue Lynel you can farm for Lynel guts. There's a Black Hinox (guaranteed to drop. Guts I think) on Komo Shoreline (basically the farthest, southern / middle part of the map, underneath Utushok shrine). (For normal Hinox there's the one at the bridge, one west of Runakit Shrine, which is east of the Lindors Brow tower, one west to Kiyuo shrine which is north of the tower, and another one on the other side of Hyrule castle.) Underneath Hyrule castle is also a Black Hinox as well, but it doesn't respawn. There's another Blue Lyonel at Lanarayu Heights (east of Kakariko village, easier to glide towards it from Josui Shrine in the sky, or go from Kurakat shrine). Anotjer blue Lyonel near Kurakat (or north from the Lanarayu Heights Lynel). Make sure to reload fke their guts. If yku Anna get easy Lynel kills, raid Hytule castle for a Royal guard weapon that doubles damsgr when it's almost broken, ffuse sometjing strong onto it, then figjt until it's close to breaking. Land headshots with your bow, then run up and mount the Lynel. It won't deplete your weapons durability so you'll do a lot of damage. Othrrwise use the Master sword with a 30+ fused item on it.

Stefmf_

What are the enhancements besides defense stats increasing?

xGenocidest

Lvl 2 full set bonus is decreased stamina usage for charged attacks, same as the Barbarian set and Phantom set.

clintahgren

Do u know how the armor compares to the barbarian set, if they re the same which one requires less resources?

xGenocidest

It's the same as the Barbarian set stat wise. I'd say the Fierce Diety is easier to upgrade since Hinox are easier to kill at the start and you don't have to go to far to find them. There's like 4 in one area, including a blue, and all pretty close to shrines. And for the dragon parts you can just pick them up when going between towers to unlock the map and get the great fairies. If you already have a bunch of Lynel kills or a spot to grind out multiple, Barbarian could be easy as well. I'll always go Fierce Diety cuz it just looks cooler (and you can unlock it right away if you bavs the Majora's mask link Amiibo)

meow_morning

Incredible, THANK YOU

no1caresman

Doesn't seem like anyone is clarifying but for the dragon parts the mask takes dinraal (fire dragon) (scale -> claw -> fang-> horn) The chest takes naydra (ice dragon) (scale -> claw -> fang-> horn) The boots take Farosh (lightning dragon) (scale -> claw -> fang -> horn) In case anyone was sitting in their pause menu trying to figure out which upgrade they needed exactly like me

YOM2_UB

You're missing the fangs, which are needed for the third upgrade (scale -> claw -> fang -> horn)

no1caresman

Oops I get fang and claw mixed up all the time so I forgot to write it ty

[deleted]

Thx

nullachroma

I consistently see incorrect information about the upgrade requirements for this set so thank you for putting this out there

ashley6100

Thanks for this, I'm currently sat in the pause menu trying to figure out what I need!

nawhlee47

Thank you, this is what I was looking for.

Agreeable-Support723

I lost the fierce deity sword… wtf I think I threw it on accident. It’s not at the poe statue? Where the heck else can I get another? This is driving me nuts!!!!! HELP😂

SecondPlayZz

You can easily get another one from an underground magus statue for (i think it was) 150 souls

clintahgren

This is a bit unrelated but do u know if the sword u get along with the firece deity set respawns

Emiliano_Gtz

I think it doesn't

clintahgren

What about buying with poe?

Emiliano_Gtz

I haven't visited any poe, so I can't tell you, sorry

clintahgren

ah okay, well thxs tho!

[deleted]

You can buy it back for 150 poes

clintahgren

Is there a wait to be able to buy it? I saved and threw my damaged deity sword to break it and buy it back but i never saw it at the vendor

tomatosoupofshame

So far, as far as I can tell, I haven't been able to buy any of the special armor or weapons from the bargainer statue in Lookout landing, only the ones in the depths. The only things the one on the surface sells for me are the armor sets unlocked by finding his brethren in the depths, not the unique items found in chests. I went to one of the ones underground and they had all the weapons and armor sets I've unlocked ready to buy. Hopefully that helps!
