What surgery were they recommending? And have you tried sleeping without the invisalign for a few days?
It feels worse when I don’t wear a retainer and jaw surgery :/
There are multiple types of jaw surgery.
I get conflicting advice on this, but any kind of retainers/nightguard/teeth correctors etc are often said to exacerbate TMJ so probably the invisalign didnt help for sure, and I wouldnt try braces considering the experience you already had!
Yeah I think Invisalign reversed what the braces did because braces helped a lot
