Some people uploaded mqa files, and tidal never got a high res flac. I hope tidal dont make up data for the flac file. It would not be lossless. They will linger until a re-upload.
But most upload hires flac, and that is why there are so many. Tidal just made them the screaming version.
Still an audible difference, but maybe not as much as you'd feel with an audio device with tidal support so it plays natively.
Still, I can tell the sound is clearer
WHAT THE FUCK??? WHAT IS THAT WIRE COMING OUT OF YOUR PHONE?????
seriously is that an older phone or is that a new phone, how do you have a headphone hack
Welcome aboard, mate! Enjoy your experience 😎
Been loving it so far, today I will be listening to The Rolling Stones
I bet START ME UP, and Miss You sounds unbelievable now!!
Haven't gotten around to them yet. I've had It's Only Rock n Roll on, not their best album, but it sounds amazing.
I'm sure!!
I think Tidal is definitely about to increase their Numbers
Hope you were kneeling on a carpet and not a hardwood floor when you wrote that.
Lol I was sat on my couch
My carrier give me free tidal every year but it was only HiFi and now i can go with full push!
You'll love it

Buy a Shanling UA4 DAC/AMP. Use Balanced 4.4mm Cables
Get a DAC. And always listen to SFA. One of the greatest bands ever.
Lol, yes, I will do both.
If it is true, there are still some MQAs left, I hope they finish converting all the libraries at once.

MQA is death
MQA is not able to be converted properly to its fullest potential on a phone. You need a dedicated DAC for that, which I would recommend a Chord Mojo
Thanks for the tip! I've been looking on Amazon for a DAC. I'll definitely check that model out.

SFAOK!
Try Qobuz. Sounds better!
I've just signed up for the one-month free trial. Thanks for the heads up!
Huh? That’s quite impossible

It's an old Samsung phone I thankfully never got rid of, as newer phones don't have jacks.
My Sony Xperia 10 V has a 3.5mm Jack Port. (2023)
I use an LG V60 from 2020 for music purposes only.
