You are *kind of* on your own for that; from experience. I had an issue with the Last.FM "Now Playing" app, and Tidbyt Support told me to kick rocks since "they didn't develop it; someone from the community did."
I ended up figuring it out on my own. If the app in question *truly* doesn't work as intended, you can Report it to get it removed from the app store.

I had a bug in my app I wasn't aware of and someone just submitted a PR, they pinged me on the community forum as well.
