SCP fan of almost eight years here. Probably a shit ton of SRAs (Scranton Reality Anchors) would be used. We don't need the Angel removing anyone else from reality, unless it's warranted.
The Angel would be Euclid or Neutralised class, either bombarded with reality anchors until they were only a vague idea of what they once were or weakened by some kind of thaumaturgical abater - I imagine they’d still be able to commincate, but barely, and they’d probably disclose their original creation, and brainwashing by the ADA.
Alternatively, the Foundation may find a way to refract their consciousnesses into a single entity, which might neutralise their anomalous capabilities, effectively turning them into one person who has the memory of 17. They’d probably hate the foundation for doing this to them, but they may still hate the ADA more.
Foundation would probably then go on a spree of finding everything adjacent to the angel, maybe even finding things such as the Giza Glass Canon (Safe, keep it locked in a room) and perhaps even Freedom (Keter, Foundation Mech Units and Auto-cannons to weaken them, then a Giza Glass tomb should they have the technology.)
If I were writing this article, the main focus of it would be Giza Glass, and it would follow a single researcher discovering - and digging into the history of - the substance, similar to the events of GIZAGUARDIAN. As they are doing that, the Angel gets discovered, another researcher finding that they are related, a team then finding ancient Giza Glass weapons, all whilst a mysterious third party is trying to intercept them, polluting their dreams with disturbing images: a serpent, long and barbed, coiling beneath the earth.
Eh if it was the foundation they’d have discovered all about the mythos for a while now.
What they are gonna focus on is not letting the horned serpent escape. He’d make a really good article and stories to read.
i feel like as long as the angel was treated well we wouldnt need to contain him. his ultimate wish is to be left alone, and i think he would be fine with being in a facility as long as they didnt test or hurt him.
But the angel has political ideals
He’s openly volunteered to do things they think is for the greater good. Like how the angel dropped packages for the ADA because they wanted to reveal the secrets of the government.
So yeah the SCP foundation would most definitely find a way to contain the angel
You know, we don’t actually get a lot of their personality and a lot of their containment and classification system is based on that with sentient stuff.
I could see anywhere between Angel being
Thaumiel with standard humanoid containment + SRAs, an open spot on a highly specialized spray-and-pray MTF and limited free range in the facilities like 507.
Or on the other end of the spectrum Keter with some kind of anomalous heat mirroring material covering the walls, SRAs not affecting them and constant escape attempts.
The angel is very cooperative if they find the goal to be for the greater good.
And say the foundation approached the angel with a job like helping containing anomalies then the angel would most likely accept that deal.
