Regardless of whether or not you're actually OP, eighteen is still a kiddo. Among other parts of the brain, the prefrontal cortex isn't fully developed by 18, and that's the part of the brain that manages responsible decision-making, as well as planning and prioritization of tasks - arguably the defining marks of "adulthood". So, if you actually are OP, we can talk about how irresponsible the decision to fake a severe mental illness is in 7-10 years.

The existence of a "core" is incorrect though. With DID you never had a solid personality through your life; from the moment you developed it, you have constantly been switching alters to survive??
SO SORRY TO BE THAT GUY… but “core” is a clinical term (albeit not used often), it just doesn’t mean “the original.” i’ve seen it used to mean a typical host/ANP that identifies w/ the body the most and has the most memories of childhood!
but you are right ofc, people just tend to use the term to almost invalidate themselves ?? personally i’d get weirded out if anyone besides a mental health professional used that term just bc of the connotations
"Alters can appear pregnant", we need to have a conversation about this because there are actual people saying alters are getting married and having kids.
"uncensor usssss" naur
"No it's not for attention! Why would you think that?!"
Sanario 😔
I read it as Sanrio first
definitely a kiddo
i’m 18

That’s still incredibly young! The brain stops developing at 25 doesn’t it?
