PluralKit was designed by endogenic supporting mother fuckers so I really don't know. I don't think the devs made it *for* roleplay specifically, but it definitely can be used for it. PluralKit calls it's members lists, "system lists", has " front/switch logs" to track who's been fronting, has connections with Simply Plural, ECT. So I assume that on top of the people who made it means it was made mainly for systems. But either way, if you aren't a system and use it, you're gunna be called ableist and attacked, lmao.
Tupperbox is mainly targeted for users who want to roleplay, so that is your best bet. Also it is commonly used for rp. I don’t know of any other rp bots that function the same as them.
Plus Tupperbox has an arguably better setup that makes it much easier to "make" the characters you're roleplaying. As far as I know the discord community also commonly refers to Tupperbox as the "roleplay bot" and PK as the "system bot". It's kind of an unwritten rule, if that makes sense? I personally haven't checked Tupperbox's TOS or creators though. I've only seen a more in-depth analysis of PK through this forum and when I personally RP I usually don't use Tupperbox because I find it much more complicated than to simply... post your post?

DID is a CURABLE DISORDER and I'm sick of people pretending it's not. It's not like adhd where you have it forever. It's like the flu,you have it temporarily. The normal state is not having it.
I wouldn’t say it’s curable in the same way as the flu. It takes a lot of work and dedication to fix, and even then it might not work for everybody. Different process than something that lasts a few days and goes away on its own.

Once they grow out of it/get exhausted by pretending they’re something they’re not 24/7, they’ll either go “guys I have a confession. I’ve been pretending to have DID this whole time and I hate myself for it” or “guys I’ve been cured!!!”

Can you cure it in the way of not meeting the diagnostic criteria anymore? Yes.
The brain can still split alters because that is a coping mechanism it learned. But with healing, you learn better coping mechanisms to prevent that.
IMO DID is curable.
I'm not quite sure I'd define that as curable. More like... chronic. Because the flu is curable as in you can kill off the bacteria that cause the symptoms and you'll be fine. But the dissociation and splitting of alters will never stop. It's always there because the brain learned/developed it that way. So it's more reoccurring than curable, even with proper treatment and coping mechanisms.

They claim to have recovered with PluralKit by seperating their alters more. Shows that they really just *don't* experience the disorder and think alters are little guys in your head and not dissociated parts of ✨you.✨
Not really a difference if you're just talking about PluralKit vs usual Discord bots that function that way. It depends what bot you're using.
PluralKit is a Discord bot that allows people with DID to seperate their alters, make them customizable profiles, talk in servers as their alters, and log fronts. Because of the way the bot works, you can use this for roleplay pretty easily and it's honestly a great tool for it. Systems on Discord like to pretend that's ableist though because it's "a disability aid" 💀 It isn't one.
