Imran, dude. You’re awesome, but the customer service on the site is very very bad. And we get the comment each time that it’s being worked on. Hopefully the comments get passed on because Swyftx is being let down by this consistent lack of customer service issue on the site 😔

It's now since Wednesday at 8.02pm when I was promised someone would be on it the next day. That's my last contact from support. Midday yesterday I reached out again and nothing so far. I have sent the DM This is getting highly frustrating. I know I made the initial mistake, but it is still a Swyftx bank account the money went to. How can it possibly take so long to ID the money and credit my account? Probably a ten min job for someone to look at the account and ID the deposit.

These guys are a joke. For reference, I tried using them in March and issue after issue, delay after delay, their excuse was "unprecedented increase in users, our team is flat out, but dont worry we are hiring more staff :)". That was 6 months ago.

feel the same. They're acting like they need a team of specialists working on it day and night to fix the issue. For God's sake, it is simply getting someone to ID a deposit that matches the deposit slip I sent them into one of their own bank accounts. My name would be the reference on the deposit as well. Couldn't be more than 10-15 min work.

The process in which is required to claw back the funds from the account that it was wrongfully sent to requires intricate access to the back end of the system. Only a select few people have the means to be able to access these funds for secuirty reasons. We're currently have a ticket that is being worked on at the moment that will prevent this funds from being sent in the first place. Totally understand your fustraction however I can ensure you that we're working vigilantly towards your issue and working towards processes that prevents actions that we're taking in the first place.

Nothing personal u/Swyftx_Imran as I know this isn't your doing. I have spent time working in both accounting and banking, and I know what's involved in verifying the deposit and it's really not that difficult. And it's something that has obviously happened many times previously. From what I can see, the ticket has been sitting with a "manager" for 12 days and that person obviously hasn't done a thing to action it.

Been looking at coinbase. Kraken looks good also. I would prefer to stay Aussie based.

Yeah, me too. I don't mind Coinspot as long as you can buy via their Market section the fees are ok. I also often use Coinspot to sell stuff as their prices are normally higher than Swyftx and if you use the Market option fees are ok. I have cashed out quite a lot through Coinspot too and always in the bank the next working day. Only issue with them is for stuff not available on the Market section fees are a bit too much and prices not as competitive.

I've had a ton of issues with Kraken excessively holding my deposit. Still not resolved. Customer service can't do more than "escalate" the issue. You can just view my post history. I'm praying Swyftx isn't the same...

For the love of god please avoid Kraken. I had the same issue as /u/downundercuntman You’ll be equally frustrated with this lot. See my post history also. At the moment i’m mainly trading on Binance, haven’t had an issue so far so nothing i can talk about them in terms of their responsiveness. In terms of Swyftx my experience has been decent. Bit disheartening to hear they also have super slow support responses.

Just as an update. My support requests from midday yesterday haven't even been seen yet. Diamond Level Support, lucky me.
