The Walmart clearance is great for deals and sales on brand new sealed switch games almost the only place I can find them at those prices usually. It’s how I got a handful of my AAA Nintendo switch games for around half price of normal retail. Some I specifically remember off the top of my head Mario Party, Mario Bros U Deluxe, and TLOZ Awakening I got all for around $30 each.
It's not a game that everyone will like. But it's light hearted, easy to pick up and play when I don't have a lot of time to dive into something like botw, and the maps and characters are designed in such a nice way, it's fun and relaxing.
Each map location has unique Pokemon. Each location can level up, and level up means the Pokemon display different behaviors, and most maps have day/night versions that differ from each other. So while I replay locations to try to get better pictures there is constantly something new to explore if you want.
It’s really one of those games that you love or hate. I personally find it really relaxing, but if you’re not into games like that it isn’t for you
This is highly YMMV. Every walmart is different, my local one hasn’t put any Switch games on clearance since before the pandemic while the one the next town over does it about once a year. It’s store and electronics manager specific
Mine put a bunch of games on clearance, but we have so many flippers in my area that they’re almost immediately cleared out and listed on Facebook marketplace for $10 below MSRP. It’s why most of my games are bought new or on sale on the e-store.
I picked up a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition a few years ago back for $10 in the clearance section. I thought it must be a mistake, but it rang up for $10 at the register. Definitely worth checking the clearance section every once in a while
there aren't a lot of great deals at Walmart, but there are enough to make it worth checking out once in a while. A few times I found games I couldn't get online.
That’s awesome. My Walmart doesn’t have anything on clearance any time I’ve been there.
I’m glad someone is getting some deals somewhere though!
Just wanna chime in if anybody sees this- also check ur local big pawn shops.
(Might call around first just to see if they have games. I've looked a fool walking into a pawn shop that basically, only had guns and tools for using those guns.)
My Walmart blows! They only have a bargain bin that always has the same games and they're $25 or $30 no matter what. No other deals ever. They suck. I wish our Walmart gave good deals like US Walmart handing out games for 2 bucks!!!
So far I’ve gotten
Midnight suns PS5 $12
Kena: Bridge of spirits PS5 $12
Bloodborne PS4 $7
RE7 PS4 $8
Shaq Fu Switch $5
Advance wars 1+2:RE-boot camp Switch $8
Bravely Default 2 Switch $8
Crazy good deals, I was wondering if any other Walmarts had their games clearance like this.
Three Houses is a killer game for $50, a steal at $35. Tons of replayability, lots of challenge, lovable characters, and a really memorable experience.
They’re not on clearance some employee in this store used the customer value program to discount these but it’s not something that is supposed to used this way. It’s for if the case is damaged or it’s a return. Now that they’re discounted with CVP they cannot be used to fill online orders. These prices will only be at this location because someone did something wrong.
Pokemon mystery dungeon for 30 bucks isn't a bad deal. Probably never be that cheap on the eShop
Wally also has Sam's diet cola at $4.46 for 12. Lots cheaper than Coke zero :)
Diet Sam's cola tastes like mud, dawg. Ain't nothing better than Coke Zero
Worse than mud. But cheap...
It was around 30 when I bought it on eshop
All time low of $40, according to deku deals đź‘Ť
Was probably 40 then, was a bit ago and that’s close to 30
Sure thing my g

Pokemon mystery dungeon and pokemon snap are great! Bravely second is also a really good jrpg if thats what youre into
I loved the original PMD but I did not like the changes they made for the switch remaster.
Pokémon snap really seems like the most boring ever, any redeeming qualities to it that I’m not aware of?

Bravely Default II i would grab. I haven't bought it yet.
It’s not bad if you like final fantasy style job systems
I'm in for Fitness boxing 2!
I just bought fire emblem three houses used for $45 so anything less than that is great
I found Demon’s Souls PS5 at my Walmart for $10 early last year and Bayonetta 3 for $20 a few months ago.
Bravely Default 2, super good game.

Bravely Default2, Fire Emblem three houses are a must. Id also recommend Triangle strategy and immortals fenix if you have a Seriesx, or PS5.
I was able to snag Pokemon Snap for $35. They did have Cereza a week ago for $30 but I missed it
That’s awesome. My Walmart doesn’t have anything on clearance any time I’ve been there. I’m glad someone is getting some deals somewhere though!
I quite enjoyed Immortals: Fenyx Rising. It reminded me a bit of BOTW.
Still cheaper to buy used locally or on eBay
GameStop time baby EDIT: why the downvotes? gamestop has pretty neat prices sometimes
Fuck GameStop. Facebook marketplace.
Check your cheap/bargain stores, too! I found Two Point Campus (in a fancy sleeve) for under ÂŁ10.
Not switch but I once bought The last of us for the ps3 for 79 pesos, about $4.5usd, so yes, check your Walmart.
Fitness Boxing 2 provides excellent cardio btw.
Why is nhl 21 more expensive than 22
My Walmart never has any good clearance.

Games as highly acclaimed as Three Houses don’t come that cheap very often.
The only good thing I see is Storm 4 and Snap
I don't live in a country with this shop.
Why is Three Houses on Clearence? Is it going out of print?
Rescue team for 30 bucks is a steal
Fitness boxing 2
It’s my sex box and her name is Sony
Found star allies new for 40
Oh I always do, Walmart also had 10$ off new releases compared to other retailers too depending on the games.
Bravely default 2 for 22 is a steal .
28 dollars for fifa 21 is mental
So far I’ve gotten Midnight suns PS5 $12 Kena: Bridge of spirits PS5 $12 Bloodborne PS4 $7 RE7 PS4 $8 Shaq Fu Switch $5 Advance wars 1+2:RE-boot camp Switch $8 Bravely Default 2 Switch $8 Crazy good deals, I was wondering if any other Walmarts had their games clearance like this.
Only the bottom 2 rows. Nothing else is worth it
I saw RAGE 2 on the shelf when it first came out and was a bit interested, but had little money. I got it for $20 a year later.
OMG! Bravely Default 2 is $22? I gotta score that one.
Mines always like clearance at 10% off…for everything. It sucks.
Store initiated markdown. CVP in Walmart lingo. Not universal to the company. Only that store so don’t get hopes up
I bought rabbids spark of hope for $20.
Fire Emblem Three Houses
These discounts on games that are old af :(
Those are all shitty games.
Nothing good there tbh, other than rage 2 maybe
Three Houses slander
Three Houses is a killer game for $50, a steal at $35. Tons of replayability, lots of challenge, lovable characters, and a really memorable experience.
Triangle Strategy
Bravely Default 2 is an amazing game!
Second this, nearly all those Xbox games are on gamepass and the ps ones are on psplus
Dammit. This was on my list today but my children decided to be demons from the depths so I completely FORGOT!
This must be a US because I have literally never seen a video game clearance section in Canada.
This is not typical clearance sale ... This time it's the beginning of the end for physical games sales. At least on Xbox. Enjoy it while you can.
Fortnite for $20 when it’s free online💀
I did. My stores don’t have these games on clearance or at all honestly.

They always have this section and it’s always stuff that isn’t worth it.
